Tory Lanez Reportedly Seeks Right To Publicly Talk About Megan Thee Stallion Case

According to TMZ, a judge had ordered Tory Lanez to keep his lips shut about the info he gets from prosecutors in his case and was also blocked from contacting Megan Thee Stallion on social media. But the entertainer is calling out the unfairness in a new court filing.

As we previously reported, Megan Thee Stallion went off last week after reports stated that charges against Tory were dropped in their shooting case. After shutting down those reports, Megan said in a series of tweets: “I can’t wait until the MF FACTS come out! Bitch you shot me AND MY STORY NOT CHANGING AND BITCH YOU GOING TO JAIL.”

Lanez claims there’s evidence refuting Megan’s side of the story — including “evidence of gunshot residue implicating others.” He can’t publicly say this because of the protective order, he’s not able to disclose any of it, according to the docs obtained by TMZ. In addition to this, Tory’s also worried about how bad things may look on the side — He worries his silence might make it look like he’s conceding what Megan says is true. So now, he’s asking the judge to modify the gag order against him.

As we previously reported, Tory has denied shooting Megan Thee Stallion back in July after a poll party. But the rapper along with her fans are confident that just will be served in her case.

Kansas City Police is sharing their side of the story of Trey Songz’s arrest. As we previously reported, the singer was arrested Sunday for trespassing and resisting arrest after he got into an altercation with a police officer at the Kansas City Chiefs’ game.

Reports initially stated that Trey was being heckled by fans a few rows behind him and he asked them to chill out. However, an officer approached Trey, and without warning, went after him! A witness told TMZ that Trey was completely caught off guard when the officer got physical and started to defend himself. The singer was later arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold.

Now, Kansas City Police who spoke with the news site claims Trey was actually in the wrong. They say he refused to follow the stadium’s coronavirus protocol — allegedly refused to wear a mask and fans kept complaining. After he allegedly didn’t cooperate with security, the officer reportedly stepped in to assist. KCP says Trey refused to obey orders and was eventually told he was under arrest. They allege he punched an officer and put him in a headlock…

According to the latest update, Trey was just released from custody. Sources
tell TMZ that he believes the cop in question had it in for him long before the altercation, and when the officer came over to him he was immediately aggressive. KCPD says the case is being referred to the Jackson County Prosecutor for further review.

While accepting an award for his new short film, “New York, New York,” filmmaker Spike Lee shared a few words about Donald Trump aka “President Agent Orange,” and compared the former Prez to Adolf Hitler!

“We’re at a crossroads now, and everybody please be safe. This is not a game. These people got guns with ammunition,” Lee said in a video recorded on Jan. 6, the same day as the deadly Capitol riot. As the The Hollywood Reporter notes, the video was played during the virtual annual ceremony for the New York Film Critics Circle over the weekend.

Lee added, “I hope to God that I’m wrong, but people are gonna get killed behind this bullsh*t. This president, President Agent Orange, will go down in history with the likes of Hitler. These guys – all his boys – they’re going down on the wrong side of history.”

Before ending, Lee, a frequent critic of Trump, then gave thanks for the award given for his pandemic-era short film.

California Governor Gavin Newsom Expected To Lift Strict Stay-At-Home Orders

According to a letter from the California Restaurant Association to its members, which was obtained by NBC, Gov. Gavin Newsom is expected to announce Monday that the stay-at-Home Order will be lifted in all regions of the state.

The letter, dated Sunday, said senior officials in the Newsom administration confirmed this with the association. The Deputy Director for Crisis Communication & Public Affairs from the Governor’s Office also said that an update should be expected this Monday morning:

“We see promising signs that California is slowly emerging from the most intense stage of this pandemic. We continue to look at what that means for the Regional Stay at Home order and anticipate that the state Department of Public Health will provide a formal update tomorrow morning,” said Brian Ferguson, the Deputy Director for Crisis Communication & Public Affairs from the Governor’s Office.

Despite finding new strains, specifically in California, hospitalizations and newly confirmed cases have been falling and health officials are growing more optimistic that the worst of the latest surge is over, NBC Los Angeles notes. The number of people in the hospital with COVID-19 has slipped below 19,000 statewide, a drop of more than 10% in two weeks.

In addition to this, it was said that the state’s most populous, the test positivity rate has plummeted 39% over the past three weeks.

Is Kodak Black a man of his word? Well, fans are trying to figure that out after some noticed he seemingly scrubbed an old tweet, pledging to donate to charity once he is out of prison.

Back in November, Kodak’s Twitter account tweeted: “If The President Them Free Me, I’m Gonna Spend 1 million on Charity within The First Year I’m Out. That’s on Everything.” Donald Trump commuted Kodak’s sentence last week, along with 142 other people he either pardoned or freed from prison, but it appears Kodak’s tweet has been deleted!

While it’s not clear why the tweet is no longer there, fans are wondering if he’s really going to drop $1M for a good cause now that he’s finally out of the slammer.

Now, although he’s a free man now, the rapper is still dealing with another case that could put him in the slammer again. As we previously reported, Kodak is accused of forcing himself on an 18-year-old woman in a hotel room after a Feb. 2016 concert — allegedly raping her and biting her — and prosecutors in the state have vowed to “aggressively” go after him in their pending case, TMZ notes.

This Saturday morning, we received the sad news that television legend Larry King had passed away.

Fans along with several celebrities and close friends have been pouring in tributes all over social media about the King. Oprah Winfrey tweeted, “It was always a treat to sit at your table. And hear your stories. “Thank you, Larry King.” Magic Johnson added, I’ve known Larry King since I arrived in LA 42 years ago. Larry King Live changed CNN in the 80s blending entertainment with news & I loved being on the show. Larry was one of the best interviewers on TV. Always well prepared, asked intelligent questions, & always made the interviews fun, serious, & entertaining! He was the biggest Dodgers fan & if you lived in LA you could catch him at his favorite booth in Nate and Al’s or at Brooklyn Bagels which he owned. Rest In Peace my friend! 🙏🏾 Cookie and I extend our prayers to the entire King family.”

Former CNN host Piers Morgan also made a post about King but came under fire over his tribute. He tweeted: “Larry King was a hero of mine until we fell out after I replaced him at CNN & he said my show was ‘like watching your mother-in-law go over a cliff in your new Bentley.’ (He married 8 times so a mother-in-law expert) But he was a brilliant broadcaster & masterful TV interviewer,” the tweet reads. His post didn’t sit well with some of King’s fans, who immediately called out Morgan for the insensitive message.

One user said: “Instead of a simple RIP, Piers Morgan makes Larry King’s demise all about himself. Rest in peace legend Larry King!” Another added, “Of all the things Piers Morgan could have said to tribute Larry King, THIS is what his dried up muffin shaped faced ass decided to type up.”

Breonna Taylor Grand Jurors File Petition To Impeach Attorney General Daniel Cameron

On Friday, three grand jurors in the Breonna Taylor case filed a petition with the state House of Representatives, calling for the impeachment of Attorney General Daniel Cameron for mischaracterizing their findings and presenting bs to the media to make himself look better.

According to the Louisville Courier-Journal, the petition alleges Cameron failed in his duties and breached public trust for his handling of the big case. As we previously reported, Cameron was the special prosecutor in the case who presented evidence against the police officers accused of killing Taylor, who was home with her boyfriend when cops opened fire in a botched drug raid. The grand jury indicted just one of the cops, Brett Hankison, after Cameron’s presentation to the panel, but only for bullets that went through a NEIGHBORS’ unit.

Some of the grand jurors said they weren’t given the opportunity to consider homicide charges and at least one of the grand jurors said that Cameron’s public statements about the grand jury involved in the case have been misleading. Kevin Glogower, one of the attorneys representing the petitioners explained: “These are randomly selected citizens who were compelled to sit on a grand jury and were terribly misused by the most powerful law enforcement official in Kentucky,” Glogower said in a news release.

“Neither Cameron nor anyone from his office mentioned any homicide offense to the grand jury. Not only were no homicide offenses presented as alleged, no charges of any kind were presented to the Grand Jury other than the three wanton endangerment charges against Detective Hankinson,” the petition states, according to the Journal. They allege Cameron used the panel as “a shield to deflect accountability and responsibility.”

The petition seeking the impeachment of Cameron on charges of “breach of public trust and failure to comply with duties for misrepresenting to the nation the findings of the Grand Jury” and “abuse of office and breach of duties of professional responsibility and ethics,” — also calls for charging Cameron with incitement of insurrection for the US Capitol riots that took place on January 6, the same charge on which the US House of Representatives impeached former President Donald Trump.

Television Icon Larry King Dies At 87

Socialites, it is with our deepest regret to inform you that Larry King has died.

According to a statement posted to his official Twitter account said that the radio and television personality, died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center this Saturday. Although the statement did not say how, TMZ noted that Larry was diagnosed with COVID-19 over the holidays, and was hospitalized in the ICU at one point, but had recently been moved to a regular hospital room, and was breathing on his own. However, things took a turn, and King passed away this morning.

The star who conducted more than 30,000 interviews in a storied 60-year career is survived by 5 children: Cannon, Chance, Danny, Kelly, and Larry Jr. He was 87. Read the full statement:

As we previously reported, Soulja’s former assistant filed a lawsuit claiming he raped and assaulted her for nearly 2 years. In her suit, she claimed that he began to abuse her shortly after he hired her in December 2018 beginning with sending her unsolicited photos of his penis within the first month. It also was noted that they eventually developed a romantic relationship and she moved in with him but things allegedly got violent. She said the first time she was sexually assaulted by him, Soulja paid her $1,000 to show that he was sorry.

The guards were moved after they were told they could no longer use space within the US Capitol Complex, including areas like the cafeteria of a Senate office building, as a rest area, multiple Guardsmen told CNN. “We honestly just feel betrayed,” one told CNN earlier Thursday “After everything went seamlessly, we were deemed useless and banished to a corner of a parking garage.”

U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has decided to step in to help out. She took to Twitter to offer them her office. She tweeted: “Yeah this is not okay. My office is free this week to any service members who’d like to use it for a break or take nap on the couch. We’ll stock up on snacks for you all too. (We’re in the middle of moving offices and it’s a bit messy so don’t judge, but make yourself at home!)”

According to CNN, members of the National Guard have been allowed back into the Capitol Complex this Friday after a slate of lawmakers voiced their outrage at guardsmen being banished to a parking garage as a rest area, a guardsman told the news site. They will now be allowed to rest in the US Capitol Visitor Center, the guardsman said.

The creator, Jen Ellis, explained on social media that she’s been flooded with requests from people wanting to buy a pair. Although they are high in demand, she said they’re no longer for sale. “Thanks for all the interest in Bernie’s mittens!” Jen Ellis wrote on Twitter. “I’m so flattered that Bernie wore them to the inauguration. Sadly, I have no more mittens for sale. There are a lot of great crafters on ETSY who make them.”

Ellis told the Jewish Insider that “there’s no possible way I could make 6,000 pairs of mittens, and every time I go into my email, another several hundred people have emailed me. I hate to disappoint people, but the mittens, they’re one of a kind and they’re unique and, sometimes in this world, you just can’t get everything you want,” she told the news site.

Dustin Diamond’s team has given an update on his health. While speaking with TMZ, they shared that the “Saved By The Bell” star completed his first round of chemo after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer earlier this month.

It was said that he’s still in the hospital and is doing everything he can to deal with his diagnosis: stage 4 small cell carcinoma. It was shared that the cancer started elsewhere in his body and metastasized in his lungs. Dustin’s next round of chemo is being scheduled soon and will also begin physical therapy. 🙏🏾

Lil Wayne is celebrating his freedom with a new song! Just a day after Trump pardoned him, he decided to drop a new track titled, “Ain’t Got Time.” The rapper was among 140 people to be pardoned by the former president before he left office on Wednesday, January 20.

As we previously reported, Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Carter – was found with a loaded, gold-plated .45-calibre handgun while traveling to Florida on a private jet in 2019, and was facing up to 10 years in prison. Thanks to the former President, that won’t happen.

In his song, Wayne seems to reference the incident he was pardoned for: “The Feds, they hot on us, one hundred on the thermometer,” he raps. “They raided my private plane, I went got one that’s more privateer.”

Exotic, real name Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage, took to Twitter to release a statement on Trump who refused to commute his sentence in a murder-for-hire plot against his archrival, Carol Baskin, claiming he was denied for being “too gay” for the President.

“I was too innocent and too GAY to deserve a Pardon from Trump. I only mattered to Don Jr. when he needed to make a comment about me to boost his social media post,” the post from Exotic’s account reads. In a statement to Buzzfeed News, Baskin said it would have been outrageous “for anyone to pardon someone who walked up to five tigers and shot them in the head in order to clear cage space for the circus.” She added, lTigers are the world’s favorite animal and Joe Schreibvogel Maldonado Passage is right where he belongs: in a cage.”

Joe’s team had a limousine waiting outside his prison on Wednesday and he even pre-recorded a thank you video to send to Trump if he was pardoned. However, it looks like that will all now be thrown away.

Kodak Black Sexual Assault Case Reportedly Still Pending Despite Trump Commutation

Soon, Kodak Black will be somewhat of a free man all thanks to former President Donald Trump. However, the rapper will still have some legal things he would need to take care of, like his pending sexual assault case, according to TMZ.

Ed Clements, the 12th Circuit Solicitor in Florence County, tells TMZ that their pending case against Kodak from 2016 has been disrupted because of COVID. Although jury trials are suspended and there’s no court date scheduled, TMZ notes that prosecutors still want to “aggressively” go after Kodak.

The rap star was indicted in South Carolina on a felony charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. Prosecutors tell the news site that they plan on pressing the case against Kodak until he gets a plea deal or there’s a trial. It was said that Trump commuting his sentence for a federal crime has NO impact on cases in state court, like the one he’s facing in South Carolina. Meanwhile, Kodak’s attorney in S.C., Beattie Ashmore, seems livid over their attempt. He said, “Aggressively prosecute? It’s been four years. That speaks volumes. Kodak was on bond and on tour for two years before his federal case even began. Ed’s a very fine and experienced prosecutor and I look forward to once again speaking with him about this case. It’s been a while,” Ashmore said in a statement to TMZ.

Prosecutors in S.C. claim Kodak forced himself on an 18-year-old woman in a hotel room after a 2016 concert then allegedly raped her and biting her neck and right breast, according to legal docs. Kodak repeatedly faces up to 30 years in state prison, if convicted.

This morning, Michelle Obama gracefully came out of her motorcade rocking a plum-colored turtleneck, wide-legged trousers, with a matching overcoat by Sergio Hudson. To add a nice touch to her fit, she also wore a statement belt with a gold circle buckle that was cinched at her waist.

Aside from her fit, Mrs. Obama rocked a side-feathered swoop with fluffed curls, and let’s just say Michelle stans were here for it ALL! China Constructs Huge Covid-19 Quarantine Camp For Over 4,000 People

China is not playing when it comes to containing the Coronavirus this time around.

They are currently in a rush to build a quarantine camp that can house at least 4,000 people. CNN reports that is located on the outskirts of Shijiazhuang.

China managed to contain the virus, but a recent outbreak has concerned officials and pushed them into action. Entire villages are being moved from their homes into quarantine lockdown facilities in order to stop the spread of the virus. These strict measures are being put in place to prevent new outbreaks during February´s Lunar New Year holiday.

The current number of cases is 88,557, while the official death toll is at 4,635. More than 20,000 local villagers have been sent into quarantine in centralized facilities so far.

According to the China Construction Second Engineering Bureau, in just six days of building, 1,195 of the makeshift units have been completed and are ready for furnishing and use.

Donald Trump Declines To Pardon ‘Tiger King’ Star Joe Exotic

Welp, “Tiger King” star Joe Exotic is still in the slammer after Donald Trump declined to pardon him.

As we previously reported, Joe, real name Joseph Maldonado-Passage, and his legal team were so confident the Netflix star would be receiving a pardon from President Donald Trump, that they had a limo waiting outside the prison to take Exotic home.

But, it looks like they’re going to have to take it back because Trump failed to pardon the man. Exotic was sentenced to 22 years in prison for a murder-for-hire plot against Carole Baskin and for violating several wildlife laws. Since “Tiger King” premiered, his supporters have mounted an aggressive campaign for Trump to grant his early release from prison. However, Trump on Tuesday pardoned 70 people and commuted the sentences of a further 73 people during the final day of his presidency but didn’t include Joe.

Among the notable names: former advisor Steve Bannon, rappers Lil Wayne and Kodak Black, ex-Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and Republican fundraiser Elliott Broidy.

Just minutes after Donald Trump walked out of the White House and boarded Marine One for the last time as President, he arrived in Maryland this Wednesday morning to give his final speech.

Trump bid farewell to supporters and family, recounting his administration’s “successes” over the last four years. “We were not a regular administration,” he told a crowd of supporters, family, and staff at Joint Base Andrews, located in Maryland just outside Washington, D.C. “What we’ve done has been amazing by any standard.”

Before concluding Trump said he promises to be back in “some form.”

Kamala Harris is set to stroll in style! According to WUSA9, Vice President-elect Harris will be escorted by the drumline from her alma mater, Howard University, at the 59th presidential inauguration on Jan. 20!

Howard University made the big announcement in a statement on Monday (Jan. 18). The band will escort Harris from 15th Street Northwest to the White House after she is sworn in as the vice president of the United States. It was said that the band’s drumline will also be joined by Howard University’s Flashy Flag Squad and Ooh La La Dancers.

“It is our esteemed honor to be involved in the historic inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris,” Howard President Wayne A. I. Frederick said in a statement. “Throughout her career, the vice president-elect has carried her Howard education with her, ensuring that she adhere to truth and service and inspiring her to achieve unprecedented levels of excellence. It is perfectly fitting that the Showtime Marching Band, the ensemble that captures and reverberates the heartbeat of our institution, should accompany her on this last leg of her journey to the White House.”

“It was that steady pulse of her Alma Mater’s legacy that propelled her forward, and it is that same rhythm that will carry her onward as she undoubtedly will become one of the most influential vice presidents in the history of our nation,” Frederick said.

The band will be downsized in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines. Harris — who will be sworn in by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor — attended the HBCU from 1982 to 1986.

Texas Realtor Who Attended Capitol Riots Says, “I Think We All Deserve A Pardon”

Socialites get into this! a real estate agent who live-streamed from the attack on the US Capitol on Jan. 6 is hoping she will be one of President Donald Trump’s last pardons before he leaves office on Wednesday.

Jenna Ryan, of Carrollton, Texas, was arrested Friday and charged with knowingly entering or remaining in a restricted building without lawful authority and “disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds”. Ryan, who is also a conservative radio host, told CBS 11 believes she should be pardoned for the misdemeanor charges she’s facing.

“I think we all deserve a pardon. I’m facing a prison sentence,” she told the news station. “I think I do not deserve that and from what I understand, every person is going to be arrested that was there, so I think everyone deserves a pardon, so I would ask the President of the United States to give me a pardon.”

Around 100 participants in the violence on Capitol Hill have been arrested and the FBI is sifting through more than 100,000 pieces of digital evidence submitted by the public.

Capitol Rioter Who Allegedly Stole Nancy Pelosi’s Laptop, Arrested!

Riley Williams, The Capitol rioter accused of swiping Nancy Pelosi’s laptop — with intention of giving it to Russia has been arrested.

According to CBS News, Williams’ former romantic partner called the FBI multiple times in the days following the riots to report that they had seen her in videos inside the Capitol, according to court documents. Her partner, referred to as Witness 1, allegedly said friends of Williams had shown them a video of her taking a laptop computer or hard drive from Speaker Pelosi’s office during the riot. The witness repeatedly told the FBI that Williams “intended to send the computer device to a friend in Russia, who then planned to sell the device to SVR, Russia’s foreign intelligence service.” However, the witness also said the plan “fell through for unknown reasons,” adding that Williams either still has the device or she destroyed it, the news site notes.

Williams eventually surrendered to authorities Monday night. As TMZ notes, she’s not facing theft charges … yet.

This Tuesday, President-elect Joe Biden announced that he has nominated Dr. Rachel Levine to serve as assistant secretary for health at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Levine, a pediatrician, would become the first openly transgender federal official to be confirmed by the U.S. Senate, according to the Biden-Harris transition team. Biden said in a statement:

“Dr. Rachel Levine will bring the steady leadership and essential expertise we need to get people through this pandemic — no matter their zip code, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability — and meet the public health needs of our country in this critical moment and beyond,” Biden said. “She is a historic and deeply qualified choice to help lead our administration’s health efforts.”

Meanwhile, Vice President-elect Kamala Harris called Levine “a remarkable public servant with the knowledge and experience to help us contain this pandemic, and protect and improve the health and well-being of the American people.”

Levine also joins Joe Biden’s Health and Human Services secretary nominee Xavier Becerra, a Latino politician who rose from humble beginnings to serve in Congress and as California’s attorney general, WPXI notes.

On Monday, Wendy Williams addressed her brother Tommy Williams who called her out for not attending their mother’s funeral. As we previously reported, Tommy had uploaded a video to his YouTube channel and explained that he was hurt that Wendy didn’t pay her respects to their mother Shirley Williams following her November 29 passing. In the clip, he questioned why she was a no show then went on to question why she went back to work like nothing ever happened.

During Monday’s show, the talk show host said she initially didn’t address her absence because “I had no reason to say anything… What’s to say!?” She then sent off a warning to Tommy and his wife for her calling her out: “You and your wife better get your life before I get it for you.”

Just hours after her show aired, Tommy uploaded another video to respond to her comments. Tommy said that the family shouldn’t be fighting because that’s not what their mother would want. He added, “I love you, this isn’t right,” but said Wendy should take responsibility for what she’s done. “I wish one day we could sit down and explain some things because I think [her father] has a right to know.” Before concluding he said:

“I’m not trying to step in the way of anything that you’re doing. But I think that, to have mommy gone and to move on like nothing’s happened — and for you not to address the situation not going to your mother’s funeral to your father; I think that’s a travesty.”

#Socialites, get into this! A Trump supporter who participated in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol allegedly tried to prevent family members from snitching on his participation by threatening them!

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Guy Reffitt threatened to shoot his daughter and son if they told the authorities he traveled to Washington to storm the Capitol with other Trump supporters! TMZ reports that Reffitt allegedly gave them the warning while arguing with his kids over his role in the incident, according to testimony given by his wife to an FBI agent. “If you turn me in, you’re a traitor and you know what happens to traitors … traitors get shot,” Reffitt allegedly said to his kids.

He was eventually tracked down by federal authorities after footage of him at the Capitol during the riot was played on YouTube and Fox News on the day of the siege, court papers states. To make matter’s worse, investigators found out he had previously posted a comment on a website for a militia extremist group known as the Texas Freedom Force, according to the FBI.

As the New York Post notes, when he has arrested him on Jan. 15, they reportedly found an AR-15 style rifle and a Smith & Wesson pistol. He’s now facing a charge for obstruction of justice charge for participating in the Capitol riot, which left five people dead, including a Capitol Police officer.

According to the Daily Mail, a new poll showed that Melania will depart on Wednesday with 47 per cent approval of her tenure, 12 points less than Michelle Obama who left a 69 per cent approval rating of her job as first lady.

However, Melania Trump’s approval rating, s much higher than her husband’s – by double digits. Only 33 per cent approve of the job President Donald Trump has done. Though First ladies traditionally have higher poll numbers than their husbands given their roles is much less political, the Daily Mail notes.

On Trump’s last full day in office, he’s expected to issue around 100 pardons and commutations on his final full day in office Tuesday.

Socialites, let’s take a moment to send some prayers and encouraging words to Rolling Ray as the entertainer is preparing to go into surgery.

Ray took to his Instagram Story this Monday morning to update fans from his hospital bed following the incident that happened a few days ago. As we previously reported, the internet personality shared that his wig accidentally caught on fire and “burnt my whole skin, legs, arms, feet, and everything.” He even gave fans an up-close look at his burns and explained that he wouldn’t even be alive it wasn’t for the help of one of his friends.

Ray explained that his wig caught on fire while he was trying to lite a cigarette and because he is wheelchair-bound, it was hard to put the flames out on his own. Thankfully his friend happened to he nearby.

Wendy Williams Warns Brother Tommy And His Wife After He Called Her Out For Not Attending Mother’s Funeral

Wendy Williams is not playing with her brother Tommy!

As we previously reported, the talk show host’s brother, Thomas “Tommy” Williams Jr., uploaded a YouTube video where he explained that he was hurt that Wendy did not show up for their mother’s funeral following her November 29 passing. The funeral was stated to have occurred in Miami, where Shirley Williams lived.

In the clip, Tommy starts by saying that “I really miss my mother” and goes on to explain how he doesn’t “understand so many things that have occurred during this time.” He then goes on to question specifically why Wendy missed their mother’s funeral and how she went back to work like nothing ever happened. Clearly, his comments rubbed Wendy the wrong way because she addressed his video on her show this Monday morning. “I had no reason to say anything… What’s to say!?” Wendy said referring to his comment before making a clear warning to Tommy and his wife:

“You and your wife better get your life before I get it for you.”

After months of speculation, Justin Timberlake has finally confirmed that he and wife Jessica Biel welcomed their second baby over the summer — a son named Phineas!

In a clip of his appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which will air this Monday, the 39-year-old star opened up about life as a dad of two during his virtual appearance. “His name is Phineas, and he’s awesome and so cute, and nobody’s sleeping. But we’re thrilled, couldn’t be happier and grateful,” he said.

During the show, DeGeneres revealed that she was one of the few people that was “outside of the immediate family” who knew about Biel’s pregnancy. She recalled: “We were FaceTiming, and you asked me if I wanted to know a secret, and Jessica walked in and you put her hand on her stomach!”

The former NSYNC singer already has a 5-year-old son called Silas with actress Biel, whom he married in 2012.

Trump Reportedly Set To Issue More Than 100 Pardons Before Leaving Office

According to CNN, Donald Trump is preparing to issue around 100 pardons and commutations on his final full day in office Tuesday.

Trump administration officials who spoke with multiple news organization say pardons are expected to be announced tomorrow before he leaves the White House for Florida and Biden becomes the 46th president on Wednesday.

His latest move will be a continuation of his controversial December spree that saw full pardons granted to more than two dozen people — including former Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort, Roger Stone, and Charles Kushner, the father of Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law, Jared Kushner. Trump’s next batch of pardons will be a mix of criminal justice ones and for people connected to the president, the sources said. According to NME citing Bloomberg, rappers Lil Wayne and Kodak Black are said to be on the list of individuals Trump may announce the pardoning of on January 19.

As Reuters notes, White House advisers have said the impeached presidential has also privately debated with advisers whether to take the extraordinary step of issuing a pardon for himself but some administration officials have cautioned Trump against a self-pardon because it would make him look guilty.

As we previously reported, Trump was impeached by the Democratic-led House of Representatives last week on charges of inciting the storming of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 by his supporters. His case is to face a Senate trial and if convicted, he could be disqualified from seeking another run for the presidency in 2024.

Tyler Perry is set to be recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the governing body of the Academy Awards, during the 2021 ceremony!

Perry, 51, is set to receive the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for his philanthropic and charitable work at this year’s award show, which will take place on April 25.

“Tyler’s cultural influence extends far beyond his work as a filmmaker,” Academy President David Rubin said in a statement to Variety. “He has quietly and steadily focused on humanitarian and social justice causes from the beginning of his career, caring for people who are most often ignored.”

The entertainer and director will share the honor with the Motion Picture Television Fund. It will be the first time the Academy gives the award to two recipients and marks the first time an organization is awarded.

“The work of the MPTF is more vital than ever, and the organization has gone above and beyond to help our community,” Rubin continued. “The sheer number of individuals and families—from every corner of our industry’s workforce—aided during the pandemic and over the last 100 years is nothing short of extraordinary.”

While speaking with “Extra” correspondent Billy Bush about her upcoming Lifetime project, Wendy Williams revealed that her ex-husband Kevin Hunter was a “serial cheater,” who was unfaithful even during her pregnancy.

As the 56-year-old talk show host talked about the documentary “Wendy Williams: What A Mess” and its exploration of her 23-year marriage with Kevin that ended with their 2020 divorce, she explained: “Kevin cheated on me while I was pregnant with my son… and I found out and I could’ve divorced him then, but I said, ‘No, I have a son and I’m not going to have any more children.’ I didn’t want him to leave me by myself,” Wendy said referencing their 20-year-old son Kevin Hunter Jr, the Daily Mail reports.

Wendy added, “And I knew Billy, it was not till death do us part.” She went on to say, “Kevin was a serial cheater, Kevin had different mistresses. …This last one was the one he had the longest term relationship with,” she revealed.

During her interviews, she told Billy that she’s in a better place now despite her rough divorce and everything that led up to it:

“I’ve got a new life. I’ve got new boyfriends to make …and things to do. I don’t regret falling in love with Kevin …and I definitely don’t regret getting the best divorce attorney I could and fighting tooth and nail to get everything out of that divorce,” she said.

While Trump is still having a hard time accepting his presidential “L,” Vice President Mike Pence seems to be handling things a little better.

According to The New York Times, Pence reportedly called Vice President-elect Kamala Harris to congratulate her on the 2020 election. A source with knowledge of the call says that Harris and Pence spoke by phone on Thursday but could not share any further details.

The outlet described the conversation as “gracious and pleasant” while Politico reported that Pence called Harris “to congratulate her ticket’s win and to assist the transition.” Meanwhile, Mr. Trump has still refused to actually concede his 2020 election loss to President-elect Joe Biden.

It was also said that Trump is reportedly planning to leave the White House without meeting with Biden, and presumably without having conceded defeat in November’s election.

A teacher from Pennsylvania is being praised for his kind and very thoughtful gesture during the coronavirus pandemic which has affected millions of families around the world, including some of his students from his school.

Matthew Pierce, a teacher at the Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, which provides free education and on-campus housing for low-income kids — decided to use his stimulus checks to help students in need. According to CNN, Pierce has been using his stimulus payments to buy Uber Eats gift cards for many students and their families.

“This one is personal for me. Having been in need … I know what would solve one day’s worth of problems,” he said. “We have to model good civics. It’s not something we’re born with,” Pierce said. “We need to give back in times of need.”

WATCH: Rapper YFN Lucci Appears in Court on Felony Murder Charge, Denied Bond

As we previously reported, rapper YFN Lucci turned himself in to Atlanta Police on Wednesday in connection with the murder of a man. The entertainer is currently being held at Fulton County Jail.

A judge denied bond on Thursday for the 29-year-old entertainer whose real name is Rayshawn Bennett. TMZ has released a video from his virtual court appearance where he can be seen wearing a mask.

The Atlanta rapper is accused of being the driver in the gang-related shooting that left one man dead and another wounded, authorities said. Lucci is facing charges including felony murder, aggravated assault, participation in criminal street gang activity, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, TMZ reports.

YFN Lucci’s attorney, Drew Findling, tells TMZ, “Our review of the initial evidence made available to us indicates there is no basis for any criminal charges against Rayshawn Bennett. We will continue our own independent investigation on his behalf.”

Joe Biden is putting $2,000 stimulus checks back in play!

According to CNN, President-elect Biden is expected to unveil a coronavirus relief plan this Thursday that includes the largest direct payment yet for American families, significant state and local funding — including for coronavirus vaccine distribution and other emergency spending measures — to help those struggling during the coronavirus pandemic.

Brian Deese, Biden’s pick to lead the National Economic Council, said Wednesday at a conference that the package will include $2,000 stimulus checks, and address other relief measures like unemployment insurance, the news site notes. Biden is set to announce the details of his plan in Wilmington, Delaware, this evening.

As we previously reported, current Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell initially rejected a standalone bill on increasing the value of the checks from $600, but with Democrats about to take control of the chamber — and of Congress — following victories in two Georgia Senate runoff elections, Biden will likely have the votes to approve increased relief spending, CNN reports.

And before the party, I was date-raped by him,” she told the crowd and later shared that she was also date-raped when she was in college, the outlet noted.

Sherrick’s widow, Lynne Conner Smith, is now breaking her silence on Wendy Williams’ sexual assault allegations against her late husband, telling Page Six that Williams should let Sherrick “rest in peace,” as the man she loves “is not here to defend himself.” She added: “Sherrick was a beautiful man, a genius with a voice like an angel. We have three amazing children. This is quite painful to not only us but his nieces and siblings.” Smith then went on to question the timing of Williams’ remarks:

“Why would Wendy not call the police if it were true?” she told us. “Why did she go out with him? We have questions, too!” She added that Williams “waited 25 to 30 years” to speak up when she “tells the truth as a career!” It’s hard to believe,” she said. “Why now?!”

New York Attorney General Sues NYPD For Excessive Force Against Black Lives Matter Protesters

On Thursday, New York state Attorney General Letitia James filed a lawsuit against New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio, NYPD, and the city’s police commissioner over the police who used excessive force against racial justice protesters in the wake of the killing of George Floyd last year.

The suit that was filed in Manhattan federal court, comes after a monthslong investigation into the NYPD’s actions during the Black Lives Matter protests over the killing of Floyd that found that officers allegedly used “indiscriminate, unjustified, and repeated use of batons, pepper spray, bicycles and a crowd control tactic known as ‘kettling’ against peaceful protestors,” the release said.

“There is no question that the NYPD engaged in a pattern of excessive, brutal, and unlawful force against peaceful protesters,” said James adding, “Over the past few months, the NYPD has repeatedly and blatantly violated the rights of New Yorkers, inflicting significant physical and psychological harm and leading to great distrust in law enforcement.”

The suit which names the NYPD, the City of New York, Mayor Bill de Blasio, NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea and NYPD Chief of Department Terence Monahan blames them for failing to address a “longstanding pattern of abuse” by not properly training, supervising or disciplining officers to prevent and address misconduct, the release said, according to CNN.

In adding to James suit, she also wants to install an external monitor to oversee the department’s policing tactics.

911 Call That Led To The Felony Murder Warrant For YFN Lucci’s Arrest, Released

In an exclusive report, TMZ reveals the 911 call that led to the felony murder warrant for YFN Lucci’s arrest. As we previously reported, the rapper was wanted by Atlanta PD’s homicide unit for his alleged role in a man’s death. He has since turned himself into authorities and was booked into the Fulton County jail Wednesday.

Meanwhile, in an audio clip of the 911 call obtained by TMZ, an Atlanta woman details what she saw last month — a white SUV speeding by “with a man hanging out of the car.” She says she eventually saw the man get shoved out onto the street. The witness also told the operator the victim appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound to the head and begged them to get an ambulance to the location because she believed the man was “still trying to fight for his life.”

As the news site notes, the woman remained on the scene while waiting for the ambulance, standing near the victim — up until she saw him “taking his last breath.” The victim was rushed to Grady Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. He was later identified as 28-year-old James Adams, according to CBS46.

As of right now, it is still unclear what exactly Lucci’s alleged role was in this murder.

During a panel promoting her upcoming Lifetime biopic on Tuesday, Wendy Williams, 56, shared her sexual assault story for the first time.

While speaking about the film which will revisit some of the TV personality’s toughest times, including her struggles with substance abuse and her divorce, it will also cover Williams’ never-before-told story of date rape at the hands of late R&B singer Sherrick, an artist from the 1980s, according to PEOPLE Magazine.

During the panel Williams said she met Sherrick during an interview and explained that “he mesmerized me with his twinkling eyes,” she told reporters. “He flipped the interview around to where he was interviewing me — I was just gaga over this man and he asked me to go to an opening party, an album release party, with him that night. And before the party, I was date-raped by him,” she continued, sharing that she was also date-raped when she was in college, the outlet noted.

Williams went on to say, “ those types of things happen to girls all the time,” Williams added. “And they’ve been happening a lot, to a lot of our mothers, grandmothers, great-great-grandmothers, and their great-great-grandmothers, too.”

Earlier, Williams also talked about her relationship with her ex-husband Kevin Hunter. Despite their rocky past, the talk show host told PEOPLE that she has “no regrets.”

“The life that I’m living right now is my best life, and I have no guilt about saying that,” she said. “I don’t regret meeting Kevin, I don’t regret falling in love, I don’t regret staying with him for all 25 years, 21 of them married. I like who I am, so I have no regrets,” she added.

Trump Reportedly Told Pence He’d Go Down In History As A ‘P***y’ If He Didn’t Overturn Election

Welp, a discussion between Donald Trump and Mike Pence leaked and revealed the amount of pressure he put on the Vice President to overturn the election.

Two people familiar with the call told the New York Times that the President used one of his favorite phrases to try and convince Pence to help change the results of the 2020 US Election. He made the last-ditch attempt to push Pence into intervening on 6 January, shortly before he was to head to the Capitol: “you can either go down in history as a patriot, or you can go down in history as a p***y,” Trump reportedly said.

It was said that Mr. Pence did allegedly look into whether he had the power to intervene, however, his counsel explained that he did not. Trump later took a jab at him on Twitter saying,

“Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the truth!” Trump wrote.

Now while Trump scolded Pence for not doing his bidding, it seems like the VP stood up for Trump in his final days. Since the Capitol riots, many have asked Mike Pence to pull the pin on Trump’s time as President. However, he has refused to do so.

#Socialites, get into this: In an exclusive report by the Daily Mail reveals that Nicole Young, the estranged wife of Dr. Dre, filed explosive court documents in their divorce days before he suffered a brain aneurysm.

According to the news site, just days before hip-hop mogul Dr. Dre was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital with a suspected brain aneurysm, his estranged wife Nicole filed divorce documents detailing years of violent and emotional abuse. She claimed in the court papers that the 55-year-old producer held a gun to her head, punched her in the face, and slammed her against a wall, lifting her off her feet by her neck.

“Andre held a gun to my head on two occasions, on January 8, 2000, and November 20, 2001,’ she claimed. “Andre has punched me in the head/face on two occasions, in 1999 and on January 8, 2000. Andre kicked down the door to a bedroom in which I was hiding from his rage in 2016,” she added. “Andre has verbally and emotionally decimated my personhood to the extent that I currently suffer from post-traumatic stress syndrome,” the Daily Mail quotes. It was noted that Nicole, 50, who’s fighting in court for her share of Dre’s estimated $1 billion empire – made her shocking charges in response to her soon-to-be-ex husband’s declaration last week. As we previously reported, he denied her claims saying that “at no time did I abuse Nicole or threaten her physical safety,” during their 24-year marriage.

In her filing she goes on to argue that Dre should pay for all her expenses in the manner he did during the marriage. As we previously reported, Nicole officially filed for divorce from Dre on June 29, after 24 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. The estranged couple shares two adult children, son Truice and daughter Truly.

As “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” wrapped its final day of filming last week, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kris Jenner gave their loyal crew members a special gift.

According to TMZ, the family splurged a whopping $300,000 on 30 watches for the crew members who’ve been behind the camera for 15 years, filming the footage that turned the Kardashians into multi-millionaires.

Apparently, the gifts went down very well, as there were said to be “tears” amid the excitement as the crew was presented with the sweet, memorable presents. While Kardashians and the production team thanked everyone with speeches and sent well-wishes after the show wrapped, crew members also looked back on some of their favorite memories working on ‘KUWTK’ and several of them reportedly said they would have stayed with the show for so many years because it was fun working with the fam.

Although there will no longer be “KUWTK,” the famous family are set to head over to Hulu after 20 seasons with their E! crew.

YouTube Is Suspending President Donald Trump’s Channel

After Trump failed to show leadership during the deadly Capitol riots, several social media companies kicked him off their platforms. Twitter permanently banned Trump’s personal account on Friday amid the violent Capitol Hill riots. Facebook and Instagram also blocked the President “indefinitely” from posting for at least two weeks. Now, Youtube is also giving him the boot… temporarily.

In a statement to The New York Post, YouTube explained that content from Trump’s channel was removed Tuesday for violating YouTube’s policies and over concerns it would incite violence. The tech giant then added it will also be disabling comments underneath videos on his channel.

“After careful review, and in light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence, we removed new content uploaded to the Donald J. Trump channel and issued a strike for violating our policies for inciting violence,” a YouTube spokeswoman said in a statement to the outlet. “As a result, in accordance with our long-standing strikes system, the channel is now prevented from uploading new videos or livestreams for a minimum of seven days — which may be extended,” the statement continued. The company told The Post that it had issued one strike against Trump’s channel. A second strike would result in a two-week suspension and a third strike means the channel would be terminated.

Due to his poor handling during the riots that led to 5 deaths, the House will vote to impeach Trump for an historic second time today after Vice President Pence refused to invoke 25th Amendment.

While several cops were seen letting violent Trump supporters into the U.S. Capitol and even took pictures with someone of them, one cop was trying his best to protect the property and those inside.

A video posted on Twitter by HuffPost’s Igor Bobic shows the Black officer, identified as Eugene Goodman, being chased by white rioters as he heads to the second floor of the Senate side of the Capitol building. While it looked like he was trying to get away from them, he was actually diverting rioters from the Senate chamber, where lawmakers were taking cover.

The harrowing video went viral, with nearly 10 million views on Bobic’s post as of Monday. Goodman, who is an Army veteran who spent time in Iraq, is now being hailed as a hero for his quick thinking and brave move during such an intense and very crucial moment. Meanwhile, the leader of the mob who chased him, the man is seen in the video wearing a QAnon t-shirt, has been identified as Doug Jensen of Iowa. Jensen was arrested Friday night and he was booked into the Polk County Jail.

So far, two Capitol Police officers have been suspended for their actions during last week’s riots inside the U.S. Capitol building and several more are under investigation, Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio, according to Fox News.

Although his cover was scrubbed from both SoundCloud and YouTube back in 2018, Jacquees still isn’t sure why things went so left after his his version went viral. Taylor Simone Ledward, Chadwick Boseman’s wife, accepted an honor on his behalf with a moving and powerful speech about the late star.

During the virtual ceremony which took place in New York City on Monday, Jan. 11, Chadwick was honored with the Actor Tribute, while his Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom co-star Viola Davis received the Actress Tribute Award. While accepting his award on his behalf at the 30th Annual IFP Gotham Awards, which is run by the Independent Filmmaker Project, Taylor Simone Ledward praised her late husband who passed away at the age of 43 in August following a battle with colon cancer.

“As an artist, an actor, and a person, Chad made a practice of telling the truth,” Ledward said. “He was the most honest person I ever met, because he didn’t just stop at speaking the truth, he actively searched for it – in himself, in those around him, and in the moment.” She added, “It became how he lived his life, day in and out. Imperfect and determined. In doing so, he was able to give himself over fully in every moment, to be totally present in his own life and in the lives of people he became. He was blessed to live many lives within his concentrated one,” E! News quotes. Taylor tearfully continued: “He harnessed the power of letting go and letting God’s love shine through… That’s what he was doing when he was acting. Not merely telling a story or reading lines off a page, but modeling for us a path of true fulfillment.”

Concluding her tribute, thanking god for “giving Chad these gifts, and instilling the strength to bear its weight.” She then added, “Chad, thank you. I love you. I am so proud of you. Keep shining your light on us.”

Retired Air Force lieutenant Arrested For Role In Capitol Riot After Ex-Wife Reported Him To The Feds

The feds are cracking down on a bunch of Trump supporters who participated in the deadly Capitol riots last week.

The latest person to be taken into custody is Larry Rendell Brock — a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel in the Air Force Reserves. He was identified as the man who was photographed wearing combat gear, including a green helmet, and carrying “white flex cuffs” while on the Senate floor. According to NBC 5 in Dallas, the 53-year-old surrendered to FBI agents on Sunday after he agreed to meet them at the police department in Grapevine, Texas.

His arrest affidavit alleges that several people actually turned in Brock after recognizing him in the news footage, but his ex-wife of 18 years was one of the people who reported him to the FBI. “I just know that when I saw this was happening, I was afraid he would be there,” Brock’s ex-wife allegedly told the FBI, according to the affidavit. “I think you already know he was there. It is such a good picture and I recognize his patch,” People Magazine quotes.

The affidavit says a second witness also reported Brock to the FBI the same day, telling the authorities: “It looks like him and he has pilot wings on his chest in this picture. He was an A-10 pilot. Worked at L3, and he still has contacts that work with L3 that knew he was flying to Washington DC,” TMZ quotes.

So what was his reason for participating? he says it’s because “The President asked for his supporters to be there to attend, and I felt like it was important.” Meanwhile, he’s also denying that he had intentions with the zip ties though, claiming he found them inside the Capitol and planned to return them to police.

Richard Barnett — the rioters who stormed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s room during the siege of the US Capitol claimed on video that he was “pushed” inside her quarters.

A new video obtained by the New York post shows Barnett being interviewed right after the Capitol attack. He explained what made him partake in the illegal activity while speaking with YouTuber Brandon Buckingham.

“They started it! I came to peacefully protest! They Maced me,” Barnett tells the reporter. “I didn’t break in — I got pushed in,” Barnett adds as he holds an envelope with Pelosi’s letterhead. “I paid a quarter for this. I’m not a thief! It had my blood on it.” Barnett, who goes by the nickname Bigo, also said he left the speaker a note. “It’s on her desk right now and, Nancy, when you get back to work, you can read it,” he continues. “I’m gonna tell you what it says … it says, ‘Nancy, Bigo was here, you b—!’”

As we previously reported, the FBI last week arrested the Arkansas man Richard Barnett, who was photographed with his feet on a desk in Pelosi’s office. He confirmed his identity to multiple news outlets and said that he took a piece of mail from Pelosi’s office, in addition to leaving a profane note. As the Associated Press notes, he now faces three federal charges, including knowingly entering or remaining on restricted grounds without authority, violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, and theft of public property or records.

According to the latest update by TMZ, Dr. Dre is still in intensive care, one week after he was rushed to the hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm.

Sources tell the news site that Dre is still in ICU at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. as doctors continue to do a battery of tests to get to the root of the problem. TMZ also reports that doctors want to keep him in ICU just in case he suffers another aneurysm.

It was said that the music legend is staying positive through it all and resting comfortably, and perhaps even more encouraging, sources say docs have cautiously informed his family that a “bad outcome” doesn’t appear to be on the horizon, TMZ reports.

As we previously reported, Dre suffered the aneurysm at his Pacific Palisades home Monday and was rushed by ambulance to Cedars. Since then, he has released a statement, ensuring fans that he will be ok:

CAUGHT: The man who was snapped smiling while walking away carrying House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s lectern has been arrested.

The images of 36-year-old Adam Johnson were plastered online and on TV during and after the insurrection, so it wasn’t particularly hard to find him. He could be seen gleaming and waving at the camera as he headed out the door of the U.S. Capitol.

Adam Johnson was caught Friday night on a federal warrant in Florida, where he lives. Johnson reportedly has a wife and 5 kids and is a stay-at-home dad. There’s currently a nationwide sweep to round up and arrest those who participated in the deadly riots. The FBI now believes this could have been an inside job where people who work in the building provided specific details and instructions for the rioters.

This comes shortly after the arrest of Richard Barnett, the man who allegedly broke into House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office, posed for pictures and stole mail from her desk. He was arrested Friday morning in Little Rock, Arkansas, and has been charged with three federal counts.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California said Friday that the House would move to impeach President Donald Trump over his role in inciting a violent mob attack on the Capitol if he does not resign “immediately.”

The effort to impeach President Donald Trump for a second time in a little more than a year gained momentum on Friday as a growing number of Democrats in Congress shared their support for the move. In a letter to her Democratic colleagues, Pelosi suggested that she would move forward with impeachment proceedings if the president doesn’t resign or if Vice President Pence and a majority of the Trump cabinet declined to remove him from power using the 25th Amendment to the Constitution.

“Following the President’s dangerous and seditious acts, Republicans in Congress need to … call on Trump to depart his office – immediately,” she wrote. “If the President does not leave office imminently and willingly, the Congress will proceed with our action.” The House of Representatives is already set to introduce articles of impeachment against President Trump as early as Monday, source says. That could set up a vote in the House early to the middle of next week. This would be the second time the House has unveiled articles of impeachment against President Trump.

In December 2019, the House impeached Trump on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. But the Senate acquitted him on both charges last February.

Tracy Chapman Wins $450K In Copyright Suit Against Rapper Nicki Minaj

Back in 2018, Tracy Chapman sued rapper Nicki Minaj over her song titled, “Sorry.” Chapman alleged that Minaj asked for permission to sample her song, but went ahead with it anyway when Chapman rejected the request.

Chapman, 56, and Minaj were set to go to trial over Chapman’s claims later this year, but Minaj made an offer to avoid that from happening, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The news site also notes that the 38-year-old rap star agreed to pay Tracy Chapman $450,000 in addition to Chapman’s legal fees after she was sued for copyright infringement in regards to Chapman’s song, “Baby Can I Hold You.”

Per federal court documents obtained by Page Six on Friday, Chapman acknowledged the offer on December 30 and her acceptance was entered into the court system on Thursday.

To note, Minaj didn’t release the track in question on her album, “Queen,” but she did allegedly leak it to DJ Funkmaster Flex, which led to its circulation online.

Mr. Trump got a lot on his plate right now but apparently, he has been considering pardoning several people before he leaves office including Lil Wayne and Kodak Black.

According to NME citing Bloomberg, both rappers appear on the list of individuals Trump may announce the pardoning of on January 19 – which will be his last full day in office.

As it was previously reported, Wayne pled guilty to a federal firearms charge last month relating to a 2019 incident, in which he was arrested for illegal possession of a handgun during a flight on his jet from California to Florida. He is expected to appear in court on January 28 and faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. Now, Trump pardoning Wayne doesn’t seem unrealistic since the two seem to be pretty good friends. The rap star met with Trump back in October of last year to endorse him, ahead of the big presidential election. “Just had a great meeting with [Trump] besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done,” he said over a picture with the President.

As for Kodak Black, he has been pleading with the President to help him get out of jail. He was sentenced to 46 months in prison on federal weapons charges. He’s admitted to lying on background-check forms while buying multiple firearms. The rappers are among a longer list of potential pardons, including family members, senior White House officials, and possibly even himself!

As it was previously reported, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are possibly headed down for divorce. Multiple sources told Page Six that “divorce is imminent” for the Hollywood couple, with Kardashian hiring divorce attorney to the stars Laura Wasser.

While the real reason behind their potential divorce has yet to be confirmed, the news site is now revealing that Kanye West’s presidential run was ‘the final straw’ for the reality star. A source explains that his bizarre presidential campaign made Kim realize that she “needed to end the marriage for the sake of her kids and her own sanity.” If you can recall during that time, Kanye kicked off with an insane speech in July last year during which he wrongly claimed Harriet Tubman “never actually freed the slaves.” He also revealed that he and his wife thought about aborting their firstborn child. That same month, he also called momager Kris Jenner “Kris Jong-Un” on Twitter and claimed that the famous family was trying to force him into psychiatric treatment.

The first source said, “Kim was really supportive of Kanye during his struggle with his mental health. But she knows she has to do the right thing for her kids.” Although this may seem like a lot for the couple, According to PEOPLE magazine, Kanye has accepted their divorce is imminent, though Kardashian has yet to file the official paperwork. “He’s OK. He’s sad, but OK. He knows the inevitable will happen, and he knows that it’s coming soon.”

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been married for nearly 7 years and share four kids together.

FBI Seeking The Public’s Help To Identify D.C. Rioters

Following the violent events that unfolded at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday afternoon by Trump supporters, the FBI is now seeking out the public’s help to identify those who were “actively instigating violence” in Washington, D.C.

As a result of yesterday’s incident, four people died amid the riots and protests that occurred as Congress debated the 2020 presidential election Electoral Vote Certification — one of which was shot by Capitol Police. Meanwhile, a total of fifty-two people were arrested, including 26 on Capitol Grounds.

The FBI is now accepting tips and digital media that show rioting and violence inside the Capitol Building and the surrounding area.

“If you have witnessed unlawful violent actions, we urge you to submit any information, photos, or videos that could be relevant at fbi.gov/USCapitol,” the FBI said, adding, “Our goal is to preserve the public’s constitutional right to protest by protecting everyone from violence and other criminal activity.”

At least 14 police officers were injured, according to authorities. Lawmakers also vowed to investigate how law enforcement handled Wednesday’s violent breach at the Capitol.

BREAKING: Trump Pledges ‘Orderly Transition’ of Power After Congress Certifies Joe Biden’s Win

On Wednesday, President Trump failed to show true leadership as he allowed his supporters to storm through the U.S. Capitol and cause chaos, delaying the counting of the electoral votes cast in the 2020 presidential election, as lawyers were forced to evacuate.

Motivated by the president, the rioters stormed the Capitol and were photographed scaling the building’s walls, breaking windows, roaming through the building, looting and vandalizing lawmaker’s offices. Rioters also ripped an American flag off of a flagpole outside the Capitol building and replaced it with a Trump flag. Trump took hours to finally address the situation saying, “we love you, you’re very special” and doubling down on the baseless claims that the election was “stolen from us” before adding “we have to have peace, so go home.”

Despite all of that, the show still went on as congress later confirmed Biden and Harris’ presidential victory Wednesday night. In a statement released overnight, Trump addressed the American people, finally agreeing to a transition of power, but while still disagreeing “with the outcome of the election.”

“Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on January 20th,” Trump said after Congress certified his defeat, according to CNN. “I have always said we would continue our fight to ensure that only legal votes were counted. While this represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history, it’s only the beginning of our fight to Make America Great Again.”

Democrat Jon Ossoff Claims Victory As Georgia Senate Race Against Perdue Remains Too Close To Call

This Wednesday, Democratic Senate candidate Jon Ossoff declared victory in his Georgia Senate race against incumbent Sen. David Perdue even though ABC News or Associated Press have not called the race yet.

Ossoff, who is currently leading Perdue by approximately 16,000 votes as of 9 a.m. EST Wednesday, thanked Georgians for “electing me to serve in the United States Senate” in a video speech. He added, “I will look forward to serving you in the United States Senate with integrity, with humility, with honor.”

If Ossoff is declared the official winner, the victory would give Democrats control of the Senate, as his fellow Georgia Democrat, Raphael Warnock, won his runoff race against Sen. Kelly Loeffler.

The Senate would be evenly divided between Democrats and Republicans, but once sworn in as vice president, Kamala Harris would have the power to break ties for Democrats, NPR notes. We will continue to keep you updated on all things election.

Attempted Burglary At Dr. Dre’s Home While He Remains Hospitalized Following Brain Aneurysm

Late Tuesday night while Dr. Dre was in the hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm, the producer’s Los Angeles home was apparently the target of a burglary ring, Fox LA and TMZ reports.

Sources tell the news site that 4 men were spotted on Dre’s Pacific Palisades property Wednesday at around 2 AM. Security spotted them as they were casing the house. Before they could get to the main structure, security confronted them and quickly called police. During a surveillance operation in Brentwood, officers spotted an SUV believed to be involved, and after a short chase the suspects were apprehended. All four were taken into custody.

Law enforcement believes the men saw the breaking news story about Dre being in the hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm and saw a window of opportunity. Inside the suspects’ vehicle, investigators say they found a backpack full of burglary tools, saws and crowbars.

Dr. Dre has not released a public statement on this latest incident. However, he said Tuesday he was “doing great and getting excellent care” at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
