Hurt, frustrated, and fed up, those are just some of the words to describe Tyronesha Laws who recently had a painful encounter with rapper DaBaby.

As we previously reported, a video was shared to the internet and showed the shocking moment she got slapped by the rapper during his concert in Tampa, Florida. The video taken Saturday night shows DaBaby trying to walk to the stage but was blinded by a phone that was shoved in his face, and it clearly pissed him off. However, Laws wasn’t the one who did that to the rapper, but still got hit anyway, according to her. Now, DaBaby has since apologized for smacking Laws but she’s just not buying it.

While speaking with TMZ, she said she doesn’t think DaBaby’s apology was sincere. In fact, she believes he looks at the situation as a joke, pointing out that he recently made a comedic skit with Michael Blackson and shared it with their fans on social media. She says she’s embarrassed by everything that’s happened and tells the news site that the online trolls are making her life, and her daughter’s, a living hell.

Law’s attorney, Matt Morgan told TMZ that he’s spoken with DaBaby’s legal team and looks forward to continuing their discussions.

New York Mayor Bill De Blasio Says A Citywide Quarantine Is A ‘Possibility’

As New York tries to tackle the spread of the coronavirus, which has killed 3,825 people world wide including 22 people here in the US, Mayor Bill de Blasio raised the potential for a citywide quarantine similar to northern Italy’s current lockdown amid the global coronavirus outbreak.

While appearing on CNN this Monday, Bill de Blasio said “It’s a possibility but I think people are getting a little ahead of ourselves and we should be careful.” He noted the transmission of Covid-19 comes from close contact and is only deadly for people who are already sick or elderly. As of this Monday morning, there have been 16 cases of the disease in the Big Apple, according to de Blasio.

“To me, it’s a high bar for a closure. One thing I think makes sense is you have a situation in a school [with] a temporary closure, a specific targeted closure for limited periods of time,” de Blasio said. He added, “I don’t want to see mass closures, I want to see pinpoint response,” he said.

President Donald Trump talked about the coronavirus in a tweet earlier today. He tweeted,

“So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu. It averages between 27,000 and 70,000 per year. Nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on. At this moment there are 546 confirmed cases of CoronaVirus, with 22 deaths. Think about that!“

New York & New Jersey’s Port Authority Executive Director Has Coronavirus

On Monday, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo shared a shocking update on the coronavirus, revealing that the city’s head of the Port Authority has contracted the deadly disease.

Now, the governor didn’t share how PA Executive Director Rick Cotton may have contracted the deadly virus but noted that the he “has been at the airports, obviously, when many people were coming back with the virus.” Cuomo specifically mentioned JFK Airport in Queens and added that Cotton “will be working from home, and now the senior team that works with Rick will also be tested so several of them may be on quarantine and they’ll be working from home.”

Meanwhile, Cuomo said he himself “could have been in contact” with infected PA Executive Director Cotton but hasn’t been tested because he’s an “improbable positive,” meaning he isn’t likely to have the virus, The New York Post reports.

According to the governor, the state total of confirmed coronavirus cases is now at 142, or 37 more than Sunday. “These numbers are going to continue to go in one direction — and that is up,” Cuomo warned. The number of confirmed U.S. cases of coronavirus has risen to more than 550 Sunday, including 22 deaths.

During a call with reporters on Monday, the CDC’s Dr. Nancy Messonnier said people over age 80, especially those with underlying health problems, are at highest risk for complications from the new coronavirus. Messonnier said these individuals should take extra precautions to avoid crowds and stock up on supplies in case of a quarantine.

While it was a special moment that he will never forget, the 16-year-old did feel a little bad about breaking Royal protocol for hugging Meghan Markle and giving her a peck but insists he was just “overwhelmed and shocked” to see the Duchess at his school. In his sweet apology letter to Prince Harry, Aker wrote,

In the latest video uploaded to the NYPD Crime Stoppers page shows the disturbing and heartbreaking moment a young girl gets attacked by a group of teen boys.

According to ABC7 News, the incident happened Thursday at 4:10 p.m. on Utica Avenue in Crown Heights. At the beginning of the clip shows the girl already on the ground while a bunch of teen boys run-up to her and then kicks the 15-year-old repeatedly. It was said that they also punched her so many times that she lost consciousness. During the beatdown, they also took her Air Jordan 1 shoe, iPhone, and debit card.

The news site notes that the boys were apart of a gang but did not elaborate. She was eventually taken to the hospital for bruising and trauma and is expected to recover. Detectives are now looking into whether the victim was involved in a previous incident as the reason she was targeted by this group.

Cops have not caught the kids responsible for the attack just yet. However, they’re asking

Elizabeth Warren now joins the long list of Dems who have decided to end their presidential campaign. The Massachusetts senator, who centered her bid on a promise to take out corruption in Washington, reportedly announced her decision on a staff call Thursday morning.

A source familiar with her plans tells CNN that her decision was made following another round of disappointing finishes in primary contests across the country on Super Tuesday. Warren’s drop-out, which was first reported by The New York Times, essentially leaves the race as a one-on-one battle between Sanders and former Vice President Joe Biden, who is surging after claiming 10 victories on Super Tuesday.

This latest news also comes right after Mike Bloomberg, another moderate, dropped out of the race on Wednesday and endorsed Joe Biden. Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar also dropped out in the days before, boosting Biden to a delegate lead and essentially co-frontrunner status with Bernie Sanders.

California Announces First Coronavirus Death, Bringing US Fatalities To At Least 11

Just hours after officials with the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and the Los Angeles County Department of Health declared a local state of emergency; following the discovery of six new COVID-19 cases in the Los Angeles area — officials announced the state’s first COVID-19 death, bringing U.S. fatalities to at least 11.

According to CNBC, the patient was said to be an elderly adult with underlying health conditions. County officials added that the person was the second confirmed COVID-19 case in the county and is now the first death related to the virus in the state.

“We extend our deepest condolences to the loved ones of this patient,” Placer County Health Officer Dr. Aimee Sisson said in a statement. “While we have expected more cases, this death is an unfortunate milestone in our efforts to fight this disease, and one that we never wanted to see.”

County officials explained that the patient was likely exposed during international travel from Feb. 11 to Feb. 21 on a Princess cruise ship that departed from San Francisco and traveled to Mexico. Apparently, the patient arrived at Kaiser Permanente Roseville Medical Center by ambulance on Feb. 27 and was in isolation at the hospital.

As of Wednesday, there are 53 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in California. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, California has more cases of the virus than any other state. The novel coronavirus has killed more than 3,000 people, the vast majority in mainland China. There are now more than 88,000 global cases, with infections on every continent except Antarctica.

L.A. Announces 6 New Coronavirus Cases, Declares State Of Emergency

Following the discovery of six new COVID-19 cases in the Los Angeles area over the last 48 hours, officials with the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and the Los Angeles County Department of Health declared a local and health state of emergency.

Chairwoman of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, Kathryn Barger told reporters Wednesday that she just signed a proclamation declaring a local emergency:

“I want to reiterate that this is not a response rooted in panic,” she said. County Supervisor Hilda L. Solis said the proclamation allows local officials “to further draw down resources from both the federal and state level of government.” Health officials for the City of Pasadena and City of Long Beach said they, also plan to declare a local emergency later Wednesday.

The new cases in Los Angeles County bring the state’s total to 35, more than any other state, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Trump Donates His Presidential Paycheck to Health and Human Services To Help Fight Coronavirus

Donald Trump has decided to step up and do something about the coronavirus. According to multiple reports, the President has donated his quarterly salary to the Department of Health and Human Services as the agency is responding to the global outbreak of the deadly virus.

The White House made the big announcement on Twitter saying, Trump “made a commitment to donate his salary while in office,” White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham tweeted. Grisham added that he chose HHS to support “the efforts being undertaken to confront, contain, and combat #Coronavirus.” Along with the post, Grisham also tweeted a picture of a check written out by Trump to the Health and Human Services for $100,000.

Charges Dropped Against Suspect In Attack Of Elderly Asian Man In San Francisco

A disturbing and very heartbreaking video was posted on the internet last month showing an elderly man getting attacked and picked on by a group of people in San Francisco. Apparently, the 68-year-old man was just collecting recyclables in the Bayview district on Feb. 22 when he was robbed and attacked.

Authorities arrested 20-year-old Dwayne Grayson and 56-year-old Jonathan Amerson of San Francisco. Amerson was booked on charges of robbery and elder abuse. Those second set of charges stemmed from a prior incident about two months ago where Amerson reportedly robbed the same victim of his recycling materials in the same area. While the motive behind their attacks are unclear, it was said that Grayson could be heard in the video background allegedly saying “I hate Asians.”

As painful as it was to watch for many people and even more of a painful experience for the man, Kron4 News reports that The San Francisco District Attorney’s Office has dropped charges against Grayson who recorded the attack and posted the video on social media, which quickly went viral. District Attorney Chesa Boudin said he dropped the charges in favor of having Grayson go through a city justice program.

“We’ve been in conversation with the victim who expressed interest in a restorative justice outcome in this case,” said Alex Bastian, a spokesman for the district attorney’s office. “Specifically, against the young person who videoed the incident. We respect victims and their desires and we will explore a restorative justice outcome.”

Bastian also said the office has the option to file charges if restorative justice does not work.

98-Year-Old Woman Becomes The Oldest Patient To Recover From The Coronavirus

As concern continues to grow due to the latest news on the deaths from the coronavirus, new reports reveal that some people have actually recovered from the deadly infection, including a 98-year-old woman.

According to The New York Post, the woman — identified by her last name Hu — developed a fever last month and was treated at the makeshift Leishenshan Hospital in the Chinese city of Wuhan with her 55-year-old daughter, who also was infected with COVID-19. Although Hu had been listed in critical condition with a fever of 104 degrees Fahrenheit, she was given anti-viral medications along with other treatments and made a full recovery.

The woman has been discharged from the hospital in Wuhan — making her the oldest person in the world to survive the deadly illness, according to the news site citing the Xinhua news agency. As of right now, it is not clear how doctors determined that the woman no longer had the illness. However, it was noted that as of Sunday, almost 200 coronavirus patients had been released from the hospital in China.

As we previously reported, 3,000 people have died, the vast majority in mainland China, of the illness. It has infected over 88,000 people around the world.

Twitter Tells ALL 5,000 Employees To Work From Home To Avoid Spread Of Coronavirus

Folks over at Twitter are not playing any games! According to The Daily Mail, the company has told all of its 5,000 employees around the world to work from home in an effort to stop the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

Twitter human resources chief Jennifer Christie said in a blog post on Monday, “We are strongly encouraging all employees globally to work from home if they’re able. Our goal is to lower the probability of the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus for us – and the world around us.” The company said this would be mandatory for its workers in South Korea, Hong Kong, and Japan.  In addition to this, Twitter had already announced the suspension of “non-critical” business travel and events last week.

As we previously reported, the outbreak has spread across the world since emerging in central China late last year. So far, more more than 3,100 people have died from the virus, and over 90,000, have been infected — prompting a wave of travel restrictions.

The number of coronavirus cases across the nation surged to more than 100. As of right now, six deaths have been attributed to the outbreak. Despite that, the U.S. surgeon general urged calm Tuesday although the number of coronavirus cases appear to continue to grow:

“We should be cautious and take appropriate measures to prepare and protect ourselves, but we should not be afraid,” Surgeon General Jerome Adams said. “We’ve been through this before, and no place in the world is better prepared to handle this challenge.” USA Today quotes.

Several People Killed After Tornado Strikes Middle Tennessee

After a severe storm moved through the area of Middle Tennessee, a tornado struck overnight Monday into Tuesday, killing at least 9 people including two in the state capital — and leaving a number of homes and other buildings in ruins.

According to the Associated Press, the tornado ripped through downtown Nashville around 1 a.m. The path of the storm traveled almost exactly to a 1998 tornado that hit East Nashville. As of this morning, tens of thousands were without power, as officials scrambled to understand the full extent of the damage. According to Fox, it was also said that some schools already closed for Super Tuesday voting will be kept closed for another week or more to handle repairs due to damage from the storm.

“Our community has been impacted significantly,” the Mt. Juliet Police Department tweeted early Tuesday. ”We continue to search for injured. Stay home if you can.”

Residents have taken to social media to share shocking clips of lightning strikes that turned the sky into purple and pink colors as the tornado struck parts of the state. Other folks have been offering prayers and even encouraged them to stay safe, with some using the hashtag #PrayForNashville.

New York State’s Plastic Bag Ban Officially Goes Into Effect

Kicking off the new month, New York’s plastic bag ban has officially gone into effect! This means that the thin wispy plastic bags can no longer be handed out for free at New York’s groceries and other retailers. Instead, folks will now have to use paper bags which will cost shoppers five cents.

This move was made after it was estimated by the New York State Plastic Bag Task Force that New York residents use 23 billion plastic bags every year! It was also said that many times, those bags end up in waterways and landfills or littering trees, which could also harm wildlife.

However, the state will wait until April 1 to penalize stores that violate it. According to NBC New York, the state has planned to enforce the ban by issuing a warning to retailers who violate the law for the first time. Retailers could face a $250 fine for a subsequent violation and a $500 fine for violations in the same calendar year.

The news site notes that New York’s ban exempts bags used for restaurant takeout food, plastic bags used to wrap meat, and bags used for prepared food.

Despite the negative feedback, Mikaela also told the outlet that making porn has actually helped her overcome anxiety and bipolar disorder. Those were issues that apparently had been worsened by being bullied as a child, not only for her weight but because of her famous last name.

First U.S. Death From Coronavirus Confirmed In Washington State

Just a few days after Donald Trump addressed the nation on the coronavirus, letting folks know that Americans are at “very low risk,” it was reported the first death from the virus in the U.S., has just been confirmed this Saturday.

He went on to explain how they plan to handle this moving forward,

“In partnership with the Washington State Department of Health, the Washington State Department of Emergency Management and local and community health partners, we are strengthening our preparedness and response efforts. I am committed to keeping Washingtonians healthy, safe and informed,” he said.

The novel coronavirus has killed more than 2,900 people worldwide, the vast majority in mainland China. There have been more than 85,000 global cases, with infections on every continent except Antarctica.

“Recently, my staff told me about the news that’s been circulating around the world, saying that I’ve been placed under quarantine for COVID-19. Firstly, I’d like to take this opportunity to say “thank you” for everybody’s concern! I’m very healthy and safe, and haven’t been quarantined. I’ve received many messages from friends asking if I’m ok. Your love and concern is so heartwarming. Thank you!”

He went on to say,

“I’ve also received some very special gifts from fans all over the world during this very difficult time. Thank you for the face masks. Your thoughtfulness is well received! And I’ve asked my lovely staff to donate your kindness through official organizations to those who need it most.”

So far, the novel coronavirus has killed at least 2,800 people worldwide, the vast majority in mainland China. There have been more than 82,000 global cases with infections in every continent except Antarctica, CNN reports.
