Rihanna’s Father Ronald Fenty Tests Positive For COVID-19

Ronald Fenty has tested positive for COVID-19 and received treatment at a local hospital in Barbados.

In a report by the Jasmine Brand, Ronald Fenty experienced severe symptoms such as high fevers and received a ventilator from Rihanna. He said in a statement that Rihanna constantly checked on him every day while he had fallen ill and was under quarantine at the Paragon Isolation Center for two weeks. He explained during an interview with The Sun about his symptoms along with expressing his love for his daughter.

“I got a fever up inside of my nose. I had a fever across my lips. It was just a lot of fever. My daughter Robyn was checking in on me every day. I thought I was going to die to be honest. I have to say, I love you so much, Robyn. I feared the worst. I thought I was going to die, honestly.'”

As of today, Ronald is fully recovered from the virus but didn’t need the ventilator during his time at the hospital. During the pandemic, Rihanna has donated personal protection equipment to New York as confirmed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo along with collaborating with Jay-Z’s Shawn Carter Foundation to donate $2 million to the Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles, The Fund for Public Schools, The American Civil Liberties Union, and the New York Immigration Coalition.
