Boosie Claims JAY-Z Tried To Get Him To Apologize To Dwyane Wade
In a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, Boosie discussed the time he came under fire for condemning Dwyane Wade’s support of his transgender daughter Zaya.
As many can recall, Boosie was livid after learning that Wade allowed his 12-year-old to publicly come out: “I gotta say something about this sh*t man,” Boosie said at the time of the announcement. “Dwyane Wade, you’ve gone too f*cking far, dog. That is a male, a twelve-year-old. At twelve, they don’t even know what their next meal is going to be! They don’t have sh*t figured out yet. He might meet a woman at sixteen and fall in love with her. But his d*ck be gone?” After receiving major backlash, Boosie still refused to apologize and even shared several more videos doubling down on his position.
During his latest interview, Boosie revealed that fellow rapper Jay-Z tried to intervene and attempted to set up a meeting between him and Wade, but Boosie claims he turned the meeting down: “They were trying to hook up some sh*t with a meeting with Jay-Z,” he told the hosts. “They say Jay-Z was gonna get him on the phone and all that sh*t, I need to apologize to save this — and save that.”
Not only did he turn down the meetup, but he also stood by his previous comments:
“Hey, tell Jay-Z I don’t wanna talk.’ I’m not apologizing for sh*t. I don’t give a f*ck if Jesus calling to get me to apologize. I said what I said, man. I felt that was right,” Boosie added.
