Von Miller Becomes Second Active NFL Player To Catch Coronavirus
The NFL hasn’t been hit as heavily as the NBA when it comes to the Coronavirus, however more and more active NFL players are reporting that they have caught COVID-19.
The latest to open up about his diagnosis is Denver Broncos’ All-Pro linebacker, Von Miller.
“I was shocked,” Miller said in an interview on the “Today” show. “It all started with just a simple cough and it got worse. I also have asthma. My girlfriend, she was telling me that I wasn’t sounding normal and I should try my nebulizer so I did. I had waited another day — the cough still didn’t go away.”

Miller reveals do you want to get a test for the virus after his cough lingered for a few days. He adds that he was “shocked” when his test came out positive.
“I was shocked. We’ve been taking this serious since day one.”
On Thursday, the Broncos confirmed Miller’s results in a statement,
“Von has elected to share his diagnosis publicly to emphasize that anyone can be afflicted with coronavirus. Von is doing well and recovering at home in self-isolation. He remains under the care of team doctors, who are following all coronavirus treatment procedures to ensure a safe environment for Von and our community.”
Miller is the second NFL player to test positive for the virus. The league hasn’t been affected as much due to it being off season.
