Taryn Southern, a filmmaker, and tech artist, stated that her ex, Bryan Johnson, 45, wanted her to tell him about her previous relationships and the sex acts they engaged in. According to the lawsuit, Johnson allegedly promised to financially and medically support Southern by enrolling her in a wellness program because he wanted her around ‘forever.’ Johnson wanted Southern to provide companionship and ‘professional and intellectual’ services for his business projects and other ventures in exchange for his offer. From 2016 to 2019, the couple was together.

Furthermore, it was revealed that he spends $2 million per year on anti-aging products but allegedly dumped Southern in 2019 after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She claimed he evicted her from their Los Angeles home and did not honor his $149,000 separation agreement.

He told Southern to move out because she suddenly became a ‘bad deal’ and ‘net negative’ after her diagnosis and treatment. A complaint was filed in October 2021, which accused the tycoon of ‘breaching his financial contract’ after reportedly forcing her to devote her personal time and attention to support his needs throughout their relationship.

The lawsuit also accused Johnson of exhibiting a pattern of using ‘manipulative and coercive’ behavior and tried to persuade her into letting him sleep with other women despite Johnson wanting a monogamous relationship. Throughout their relationship, Johnson allegedly slept with a dozen women, which included sex workers, and was reportedly obsessed with his conquests.

He allegedly tried to hit on her friends and found other women on dating apps for sugar daddies. However, he wanted Southern to sign a settlement without the $149,000 but with the promise of helping her find a new home and paying for medical expenses.

‘When he met Ms. Southern, he saw an intelligent, attractive, skillful, young woman who had the means to find an audience for his ideas and increase his media exposure and popularity. He immediately swept Ms. Southern off her feet, expressing apparent sincerity in his desire to become lifelong partners. They moved in together within four months of meeting and, by March 2018, the ‘happy’ couple were engaged to be married. Although Ms. Southern had initial misgivings about working for Defendant Johnson, she genuinely believed that he loved her and that he intended to keep his promises. As a result, and in reliance on Defendant Johnson’s repeated assurances, Ms. Southern made decisions that hurt her own career and left her financially dependent on Defendant Johnson,’

The lawsuit says Southern doesn’t have any income to support her living and medical expenses and accused Johnson of taking advantage of her fragile situation.

  1. Seems like the judge wasn’t convinced this is the story. In fact, he charged the lawyers for unethical conduct and unsubstantiated claims. The story above seems fabricated and it’s hard not to see through this woman’s motivation.
