Pretty Ricky’s Spectacular Smith, 40, is facing a sexual assault and battery lawsuit as an Arizona woman sues him, alleging he choked her during sex and also filmed the alleged encounter without her consent.
According to TMZ, the woman — identified in the complaint as Alexis Dieng — filed her case in Maricopa County Superior Court on August 12. She said things all began when Smith allegedly slid in her Instagram DMs on or around October 23, 2025.
Dieng claimed the “Grind On Me” rapper asked her for restaurant recommendations as a way to break the ice for conversation. She said he then spent several hours talking to her and “cultivating her trust.” Eventually, they ended up arranging a time and place to meet in person.
Dieng claimed the rapper and entrepreneur gave her an initial meeting location. However, he allegedly changed it and directed her to a residence in Phoenix. She said she arrived at the location, by herself and away from witnesses, around 10:30 p.m. the next day, October 24.
Once inside the home with Smith, Dieng alleged he initiated physical contact. She said it then escalated, with Smith engaging in sexual intercourse, despite her not giving consent. Dieng continued to allege that during the encounter, Smith put his hands around her neck and applied pressure, blocking her airways and preventing her from breathing. She also alleged he recorded all or part of the alleged incident without her consent.

According to Radar Online, Dieng reported the alleged assault to the Phoenix Police Department. In Dieng’s lawsuit, the alleged incident is documented with a case report number and it identifies Smith as the suspect.
Dieng also claimed she underwent a forensic sexual assault examination a day later, on October 25. The exam shows results of tenderness, redness, and an indentation on the right side of her neck. Dieng’s attorneys said the findings are consistent with strangulation. The results also found redness in her vaginal area.
Dieng has claimed she requires continued medical and psychological treatment as a result of the alleged incident. As Dieng sues for assault and battery and sexual assault, she is seeking general special and punitive damages. Dieng left the amounts to be determined at trial, for which she has demanded a jury.
Dieng’s attorney accuses Smith of intentionally contacting her under a false pretext, gaining her trust, changing their meeting locations, and directing her to a residence where he could have her isolated. Dieng’s attorney, Benjamin Taylor, simply and frankly told TMZ, “We plan to seek justice for our client.” According to the outlet, Smith has not responded to their attempts for comments.
