Yikes! Within hours of him condemning Lil Durk’s not guilty verdict, comedian and viral commentator Charleston White ended up in jail himself, arrested in Florida and booked on battery charges.
As we previously shared, on Friday (September 11), Lil Durk, born Durk Devontay Banks, was found not guilty on all counts in his 2022 murder-for-hire case. After three days of deliberations, a Los Angeles jury acquitted the Grammy-winning rapper on all federal charges in the 2022 ambush shooting.
Prosecutors accused the Chicago rapper of setting in motion a plan to stalk, hunt and kill rival Atlanta rapper Quando Rondo, born Tyquian Bowman. Furthermore, Durk was facing charges of conspiracy, stalking using a dangerous weapon, stalking resulting in death, and two counts involving murder-for-hire allegations.
Despite the verdict, Durk remains in custody, in jail. He will be back in court next month for a second trial. That case involves several federal counts of racketeering murder and firearms charges.

Within hours of his rant about Lil Durk, Charleston White found himself in jail too. The Hollywood Police Department arrested him on Saturday morning (September 12) in Hollywood, Florida. Officials booked him into the Broward County Main Jail, charging him with a touch-or-strike battery charge.
Under Florida Statue 784.03, the charge involves intentionally making physical contact with another person in a harmful or offensive manner. White doesn’t appear to have a bond, as the amount shows $0, according to online records.
