Ferrari Crashes Into Restaurant Owned By Bravo Star Lisa Vanderpump
Earlier this Sunday, a Ferrari crashed into the front of reality star Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant in West Hollywood, damaging the building and causing minor injuries.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department, the vehicle somehow lost control and went crashing straight into the patio area of the restaurant. Photos from the scene show shattered glass and the damage to the front of the luxury car that smashed into her place.
The Bravo star took to Twitter earlier to let concerned fans know that no one had been injured. She tweeted, “No. We are not a Drive-Thru. Thank God no one was hurt,” she said before receiving the news that one had actually been sent to the hospital.
As of right now, the cause of the crash is currently under investigation. We will continue to keep you updated when more details have been shared.

For some reason, folks on social media were saying that actress Pam Grier was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and in a fight for her life. Many people were sending prayers and even started to look back on her career with tributes, fearing for the worst.
A rep for Pam recently spoke to TMZ to address these rumors, telling the news site that they are completely FALSE. Now, for those who weren’t aware, Grier had been diagnosed with stage four cervical cancer back in 1988. Though she was only given 18 months to live at the time, she managed to pull through, and her cancer’s been in remission ever since. The actress’ rep said Pam, who is a cancer survivor is “as healthy as ever!”

Thousands Chant ‘Death To America!’ While Vowing Revenge At Qassem Soleimani’s Funeral
Here’s what’s currently going on since top Iranian general Qassem Soleimani was recently killed during an airstrike that was ordered by US President Donald J. Trump. Thousands of furious mourners have packed the streets of Baghdad earlier this Saturday for Soleimani’s funeral.
According to The Daily Mail, heartbroken and distraught supporters of Soleimani were chanting “Death to America” and “America is the Great Satan” as they walked beside the coffins of Soleimani, architect of Iran’s global military strategy, and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, Kataeb Hezbollah chief, in Baghdad who was also killed during the airstrike. As we previously reported, the pair had been riding in a two-vehicle convoy which was destroyed by three missiles from an American MQ-9 Reaper Drone outside Baghdad International Airport.
Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi condemned the strike and has threatened to order the expulsion of all US troops from the country after feeling violated. He called for measures to “protect Iraq’s dignity and sovereignty.”

President Donald Trump has said that he ordered the killing of Soleimani to actually prevent war, adding that the commander was plotting major attacks against Americans. He also pointed out that Soleimani has previously killed thousands of Americans.
“We took action last night to stop a war. We did not take action to start a war,” Mr. Trump said in his first public comments since the strike. So far, the U.S. has reportedly deployed 3,500 additional troops to the region to boost security, and the U.S. Embassy in Iraq urged all American citizens to leave the country immediately.

As we previously reported, the concert promoter named Kenneth says he got his money taken along with a few personal items and beat up while trying to pay DaBaby for an event he agreed to attend. But, things went left after the two met up to sort everything out. While speaking with TMZ, Kenneth says he was hired to put on a birthday party for rapper Stunna 4 Vegas at a Florida nightclub night and made a deal with DaBaby to host. He claims it was for a discounted rate of $30k since the rappers are friends.
However, Kenneth tells TMZ that he showed up with $20k and promised DaBaby the final $10k once the party was over but the rapper and his crew got heated, and it quickly turned violent. Kenneth has shared pictures showing his injuries and claims he had to get checked out by a doctor because his injuries were so bad. In addition to that, he says video of the assault is difficult for him and his loved ones to watch. Kenneth also claims DaBaby’s team made off with money that hasn’t been returned to him.
DaBaby appeared in court Friday and is being held without bond because he also has an active warrant in Texas.

Trump Explains Why Iran’s Top General Qassem Soleimani Just Had To Die
On Friday, Donald Trump tweeted his first remarks since ordering the U.S. airstrike that killed Iranian general Qassem Soleimani, one of that country’s most powerful military and political figures.
In a tweet, Trump said, “Iran never won a war, but never lost a negotiation!” The President said Friday morning, although it was not immediately clear what the president meant by the statement. A little later he followed up with another tweet that appears to explain why he thought it was best to act now.
“General Qassem Soleimani has killed or badly wounded thousands of Americans over an extended period of time, and was plotting to kill many more…but got caught! He was, directly and indirectly, responsible for the death of millions of people, including the recent large number….”
He added,

UPDATE: DaBaby Arrested In Miami On Battery Charges After Alleged Altercation
On Thursday, we shared a video of DaBaby being detained by cops in Miami. At the time, it was not immediately clear why they were taking him. However, TMZ has provided the latest update revealing what led to his latest arrest.
According to police, DaBaby allegedly robbed a concert promoter after he felt he was shorted by several thousand dollars. Apparently, the promoter reportedly handed DaBaby $20k but the rapper said he was actually owed $30k for a concert he was supposed to perform on Thursday. According to the police report, a second victim was punched in the face but it’s not clear if the rapper did it or someone else from his crew.
In addition to that, DaBaby reportedly robbed the promoter of $80, a credit card, and then doused him with apple juice … according to the police report, obtained by TMZ. It was said that the rapper also allegedly took the victim’s iPhone 7.
As a result, DaBaby was arrested and charges for battery. His bond has been set at $1,500.
Australia Urges People To flee As Fires Set To Surge Over The Weekend
Something terrible has been going on in Australia since September. Extreme heat and a prolonged drought have fueled large-scale fires across the continent. It has devastated states like New South Wales and Victoria, tearing across more than 14 million acres, destroying thousands of homes and killing at least 19; including three volunteer firefighters, according to BBC.
As of the new year, the blazes have also killed about half a billion animals, and displaced hundreds of thousands of people, Business Insider reports. The blazes are so large and widespread that satellites in space can easily photograph them from orbit!! Things are expected to get even worse as officials claim the fires are going to spread out of control over the weekend. As of this Friday, Australian officials have declared a new state of emergency, with authorities making a final plea for people to flee bushfire-affected areas in three states before the onset of extreme conditions become so dangerous that firefighters may be unable to defend their towns.

In addition to that, Australia’s police, military, and navy are involved in rescue and evacuation efforts. Meanwhile, folks out in Australia are pleading for help with some displaced people sharing videos of them trying to escape while others are sharing the little to nothing they have left due to the fires. There is a number of organizations and volunteer services that are aiding in the firefighting and recovery efforts for affected communities. As CNN has noted, you can help by giving to the Salvation Army Australia, which launched a disaster appeal. They’re providing shelter and meals to evacuees and front-line responders. Rose McGowan Faces Backlash After Apologizing To Iran For Death Of Terrorist Soleiman
Folks on social media is letting actress Rose McGowan have it after she took to Twitter to actually apologize to the country of Iran after its top military general was killed in an airstrike ordered by President Trump. As we previously reported, the Pentagon confirmed Thursday evening that Trump had ordered the attack that killed Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani. Although the top military commander was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American and coalition members and the wounding of thousands more, McGowan appears to side with Iran, claiming the US “disrespected their country.”
“Dear #Iran, The USA has disrespected your country, your flag, your people. 52% of us humbly apologize. We want peace with your nation. We are being held hostage by a terrorist regime. We do not know how to escape. Please do not kill us. #Soleimani.“
McGowan’s followers accused the actress of doing drugs and asked her to take down the tweet or delete her account as a whole. However, she responded to the backlash with another slew of verbal attacks against America and Trump.
“Thanks a lot, d–khead,” McGowan wrote to Trump in another tweet.
She went on to explain her reason for her tweets:
“Of course #Soleimani was an evil evil man who did evil evil things. But that at this moment is not the f–king point. The United States is morally corrupt and acts illegally. It is only logical to appeal to Iran’s pride by apologizing. I’m taking one for the team. #TeamStayAlive,” she continued.
She added,
“I will never vote Republican. I want the Democrats to win because we are less likely to die. I am a conscientious objector to the USA, it’s policies, lies, corruption, nationalism, racism, and deep misogyny. It is our right and duty as citizens to dissent.”

Social Media Reacts To Dr. Phil’s Beverly Hills Home Hitting The Market
Dr. Phil is currently trending on Twitter and it’s not because of another reckless guest moment from his talk show. Instead, it’s because his Beverly Hills home has hit the market and folks on social media can’t get over his strange decor.
In pictures shared by the Los Angeles Times we get to see a snap of the great room, where there is a big chandelier and unique wooden chairs at the bar section. UPDATE: Man Arrested For Kidnapping Of Woman Caught On Doorbell Cam
Earlier this Wednesday we shared a clip of an apparent kidnapping incident in Las Vegas. The video showed a woman running to a house trying to seek help then grabbed, thrown to the ground and dragged off by the suspect.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police released the surveillance footage, hoping the public would provide any helpful information to help find the victim and suspect. According to the updated reports by KTNV Las Vegas, police say they have arrested the man they believe is responsible for kidnapping a woman early this morning. Darnell Rodgers, 23, was arrested without incident around 3 a.m. Jan. 2. He was booked into Clark County Detention Center and is facing charges for kidnapping and domestic battery.
As for the victim, police said she was found safe after the incident. Rodgers will be facing a scheduled court date on Jan. 3.
In the clip, the 911 dispatcher who’s trying to send out help to Nick’s location can be heard explaining that there’s “black stuff coming out of his mouth” and that “he is not breathing.” TMZ reports that a man claiming to be Nick’s brother said Nick died of an apparent OD, and the “black stuff” could support that conclusion. Black discharge is often related to a “foam cone” that comes out of the mouth and nostrils after an opioid OD.
While nothing has been confirmed just yet, the news site notes that the medical examiner will conduct an autopsy possibly on Thursday. It was also said that the toxicology results should be available in about 3 weeks.

The Entertainment world is currently mourning the loss of Minnesota rapper Lexii Alijai who recently passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at the age of 21.

New Video Appears To Show Sonny Alloway Being Confronted By Woman He Tried To Abduct
As we previously reported, the man who was caught on video trying to abduct a woman on a New York City train was arrested earlier this week and charged with unlawful imprisonment, according to the New York Post. Sonny Alloway, 48, has since been released and has taken to the Bronx streets to clear his name.
In a recent clip, Alloway explains to a group of folks at a local bodega that he was only trying to help the woman after she expressed to him on the train that she wanted to get away from her abusive boyfriend. While many folks don’t seem believe his side of the story, a new clip that hit social media apparently shows him being confronted by the woman he tried to flee off with!
In the latest video involving Alloway, shows him telling the victim’s boyfriend that he didn’t try to take her. Meanwhile, the frustrated woman is letting him know that she’s not lying since the video clips are on Facebook.
Cops who happened to be on the platform then can be seen walking up to the group to intervene. It is unclear what happened after as the video comes to an end.

Ricki Lake Shows Off New Look While Revealing Struggle With Hair Loss & Depression
#Socialite, do you guys remember Ricki Lake? The former talk show host and “Hairspray” star? well, she has come out with a whole new look to bring in the new year, and it appears that there’s a story behind the big change.
While embracing her new buzz, the 51-year-old actress took to social media, revealing decades-long struggle with hair loss. Before explaining, Lake made it clear that she is not sick and is not having a mid-life crisis, although she’s been “suffering in silence” for most of her adult life and has even felt suicidal over her struggles.
“It has been debilitating, embarrassing, painful, scary, depressing, lonely, all the things,” Lake wrote in a post shared Wednesday on Facebook and Instagram. She went on to say, “I’ve been to many doctors, gotten steroid shots in my head, taking all the supplements and then some,” she said. “My hair would recover and then shed again. It was maddening.”
After decades of struggle, Lake said she just had enough, and thanks to the love and support from her good friends, she decided to cut her hair off.
“This time, I say no more. I have to be set free,” she said. “I am liberated. I am free. I am releasing and letting go. I am brave. I am beautiful. I love it. For 2020 and beyond, I want to be real.”
Lake’s post has since gone viral, with many social media users commending her for speaking out and making such as brave move.
According to TMZ, Fitzgerald, who had a small role in “Captain America: The First Avenger” — was taken into police custody in Olathe, Kansas and has reportedly been charged with second-degree murder. She’s being held on $500k bond.
Fitzgerald’s arrest comes shortly after cops found her 68-year-old mother, Patricia, dead from an apparent stab would inside her home on Dec. 20. Cops say when they responded to a call of a disturbance, Mollie was found on the scene and then transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
As of right now, the case remains under investigation, but cops have not provided additional details yet. However, what we do know is that she’s reportedly set to be arraigned Thursday.

‘Orange Is the New Black’ Creator Jenji Kohan’s Son Dies After Ski Accident
We have some unfortunate news to share. Charlie Noxon, the son of “Orange Is the New Black” creator Jenji Kohan, has sadly died following a ski accident.
Police authorities and Vail Resorts confirmed to Page Six that Noxon had suffered an accident in Park City, Utah, on New Year’s Eve while hanging with his father, journalist Christopher Noxon, and his two siblings.
It was said that the incident happened at the intermediate trail near Canyons Village. Following further emergency care and evaluation, Noxon was pronounced deceased by Airmed.
“Park City Mountain, Park City Mountain Ski Patrol, and the entire Vail Resorts family extend our deepest sympathy and support to our guest’s family and friends,” said Park City Mountain Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Mike Goar in a statement. Noxon was just 20 years old.
Christopher nor Jenji have not spoken out on their son’s death yet. Until then, join us in sending our deepest condolences to the family.
According to the latest update, cops finally nabbed 18-year-old Abu Conteh for the brutal crime and charged him with murder. The victim, 64-year-old Juan Fresnada was beaten so badly that he suffered swelling to his brain and a fractured skull. Fresnada was rushed to the hospital but he was pronounced dead on Saturday, four days after the assault. His partner, Bayron Caceres, who was walking with him at 1:28 am in the Bronx last Tuesday during the time of the attack was not seriously injured.
Conteh was arrested at his home a few miles away from the crime scene and brought to the 42nd Precinct stationhouse after he was identified as one of Fresnanda’s alleged attackers, The New York Daily News reports. Although cops have identified Conteh’s accomplices, they are currently working to track them down.
Caceres told The New York Daily News how Fresnada protected him. He refers to him as his husband but the pair were not legally married. He added:
“My dream was to live another 20 years and I would push him in a wheelchair when he is 80. And we would travel the world together.”
Caceres claimed he did not believe the assault was a hate crime as they were called no homophobic names, the Daily Mail notes.

Parents File Lawsuit Against Doctor & Nurse After Daughter Is Left In Coma From Breast Surgery
Parents of 18-year-old Emmalyn Nguyen have decided to file a lawsuit after their teen daughter allegedly went into a coma following breast enhancement surgery.
According to the lawsuit, Nguyen‘s parents allege that their 18-year-old daughter has been in a coma since her surgery back in August. The parents filed the lawsuit against Dr. Geoffrey Kim and nurse anesthetist Rex Meeker, who allegedly administered anesthesia before the surgery. The parents accuses them of
negligence, claiming they left Emmalyn “unobserved” for 15 minutes after putting her under the anesthesia. They believe that during those 15 minutes, something went wrong with the anesthesia, according to the lawsuit filed in Boulder County Court.
David Woodruff, the attorney representing Nguyen’s parents, told PEOPLE that,
“It appears that Emmalyn stopped breathing because of improper anesthesia, administered by a nurse instead of an anesthesiologist. But the worst thing is she appears to have been left unattended, not breathing, for up to 15 minutes. It caused her to suffer a massive anoxic brain injury.”
The lawsuit also claims that since August, the Colorado teen has lived “in a permanent ‘semi-conscious’ state” and faces “permanent mental and physical impairment” adding that the teen now requires constant care, including a permanent feeding tube.
Nguyen had went into cardiac arrest and stopped breathing after going under the anesthesia before the surgery even began, the lawsuit alleges. Woodruff told the news site that staff at the doctors office allegedly performed CPR on Nguyen twice, and waited five-and-a-half hours before calling 911! Nguyen’s parents were not immediately told that their daughter had gone into cardiac arrest, Woodruff alleges.
“It is incomprehensible that a team of medical professionals, including a plastic surgeon, a nurse-anesthetist, and multiple nurses, would not call 911 for five and a half hours after performing CPR on their patient who had gone into cardiac arrest twice,” he said.
Attorney Douglas Wolanske, who represents Rex Meeker, denies the allegation, telling KDVR:
“Mr. Meeker’s care was reasonable and within the standard of care and we are confident that the facts will bear this out.”

HU Exclusive: “Black and Blue” Cast Talks Making Of The Movie, Why They Would Never Be A Cop & More!
Is #BlackAndBlue just another cop movie? Absolutely not! The action-packed thriller directed by Deon Taylor, takes us into a super intense experience as we follow a BLACK FEMALE cop go through extreme lengths to expose crooked officers in her department to protect the community. Now, although the tone of the film is at times a bit tough to take in, the overall message of it is very inspirational.
Hollywood Unlocked got the chance to chop it up with Taylor and some of the cast including Tyrese Gibson who plays (Mouse), Naomie Harris (Alicia West), who for the first time in cinematic history is a Black female playing a police officer as a lead, Mike Colter (Darius), Frank Grillo (Terry Malone), and Nafessa Williams (Missy.) Taylor shared how important is was for him to drop a movie at this time, especially where it almost feels like art is imitating life. Tyrese added that he thought of a few people who have unfortunately died due to gun violence or at the hands of the police including Nipsey Hussle, Eric Garner, and Tamir Rice — which helped him tap into his role.

Hosted by Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee, curated by ‘Wife of The Party,’ and brought to you by ‘Limitless;’ the private dinner party celebrated Wendy Williams’ lifetime achievements and for receiving the 2,677th star on Hollywood Boulevard for her popular Emmy-nominated daytime talk show.
“I mean, you know, just the girl from Jersey, trying to make our bones, trying to figure out how to keep the mic hot without being thrown off.” Wendy said during her star ceremony, “You know, I’ve been having the mic for over 30 years of my career… the last 11 years, I never imagined that would happen.”

Many of us had high hopes that things would eventually turn around for A$AP Rocky who has been in Swedish jail for nearly a month because of a brawl.
Even after his case rallied celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Snoop Dogg, Justin Bieber and even a personal intervention from President Trump, it looks like that didn’t actually help because Swedish prosecutors clearly had a plan of their own.
According to the updated reports, authorities in Sweden have just decided to charge the New York rapper with assault in connection to the altercation last month in Stockholm. The news site states that Rocky will continue to be held in jail pending a trial … and the trial date has not been set, although it could be today.
It was also said that two members of Rocky’s crew have also been charged with the same crime and they will also be held pending trial. If Rocky is convicted he could be looking at latest 2 years in jail.
Governor Andrew Cuomo Signs Bill Criminalizing ‘Revenge Porn’ In New York
New Yorkers, if you have any intentions on getting back at your ex by sharing intimate pictures or videos to the public, you better put that phone down and find the lord or you may end up in jail!
On Tuesday, New York became the latest state to criminalize the publication of “revenge porn,” the nonconsensual sharing of intimate photos. Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) Officially signed the bill into law that now makes sharing intimate content without permission a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in the slammer.
On top of that, it also amends the state’s civil rights law to allow victims of “revenge porn” to seek civil recourse for damages. Cuomo released a statement explaining the new bill saying,
“Our laws have not kept pace with technology and how abusers can use it to harass, intimidate and humiliate intimate partners,” Cuomo said in a statement after signing the bill. By criminalizing the publication of revenge porn, we are empowering victims of this heinous act to take action against their abusers and showing them a path to justice,” he added.

HU Exclusive: Cliff Vmir Shows Us How He Plans To Dominate The Hair & Rap Game On BET’s Digital Series #WigOut
If you’re on Instagram then you probably came across one of Cliff Vmir’s videos of him putting together an amazing hairstyle on his client or a big name celebrity. You also probably saw videos of the 21-year-old spitting a few bars over some hot beats.
Cliff is now hopping on a bigger platform to let the world know that he can snatch a wig and grab a mic at the same time, and the world needs to prepare for what’s to come!
On Sunday, January 13, Hollywood Unlocked got a sneak preview of his new digital series titled #WigOut on BET and it looks like viewers are in for a treat. Not only did we get to see Cliff lace his clients up, but we also got to see the hard work he’s putting in to become a hit star.
During the NYC screening and single release celebration event, we got to speak with Cliff to see how he’s taking this all in. Cliff said,
“It feels amazing that all my hard work has finally paid off,” Cliff told us. He also added, “what I want people to take from this show is that I’m a really sweet and genuine person and this series will let people see what really goes on behind my business.”

In a sneak peek of #WigOut, “Housewives of Atlanta” star Marlo Hampton suggest that Cliff should stick to hair rather than rapping. We asked him what is his message to people who feel the same way. He responded and said,
“People are always going to talk and share what they think people should and shouldn’t do… what I will say is that Marlo and the rest of the world are going to regret that in the future. Tune in.”
Cliff also dished on his music and told us that he has collaborations with Light Skin Keisha and Lil’ Mo. He also shared that his EP will be dropping soon as well!

HU Exclusive: Giving You The Keys To Dream Doll’s ‘Life In Plastic 2’ EP Release Party In NYC
On Sunday, September 9, Dream Doll shut down NYC with her “Life In Plastic 2” EP release party at SOB’s. Hollywood Unlocked was there to see all the great moments like the premiere of her new music video “BUNDLES” and all the surprise guests like Mariah Lynn, Gunna and more who came out to support the Bronx rapper and perform with her on stage.
The crowd was definitely feeling her songs off her new project, and as Dream explained, that’s probably because of the hard work she put into creating it. Speaking with the artist, she shared that it took a full year to put everything together, but it was all worth it at the end.

Dream also said that she enjoyed her first EP, but this one was really special to her. The 26-year-old even told us how grateful she was to have an iconic rapper like Lil Kim be featured on one of her songs.
Dream Doll might have been in the music game for a short amount of time, but it looks like she is ready to leave a mark and let the world know that she’s here to stay.

On August 26, many celebrities gathered together to celebrate another year of black women and black excellence at the 2018 Black Girls Rock Awards!
Hollywood Unlocked was front and center on the royal red carpet where we got to speak to a few celebs who were there to honor the achievements of Black women across a variety of industries.
We talked with stars like Skai Jackson, Kyla Pratt, Rapsody and more who all shared how important it is to highlight and support women who are are making major contributions to the world, like Queen Latifah, Mary J. Blige, dance pioneer Judith Jamison and many more.
The big award show will air live on BET September 9th. The evening, hosted by Queen Latifah, honored Janet Jackson, Naomi Campbell, Lena Waithe and more, as well as paid tribute to Aretha Franklin.

If you don’t know, Gervonta is an American professional boxer; a two-time super featherweight world champion, who has been ranked as the world’s second-best active super featherweight.
Gervonta, 23, starts off by detailing his rough childhood as he was split up from his siblings and put in a foster home while living in Baltimore. Despite that, he explains how he beat the odds and became a successful boxer.
Gervonta also shares what his relationship is currently like with Floyd Mayweather and also gives us inside details on how he is as a new dad! While doing that, the boxer opens up about how his life has changed and the respect he now has for women— and you know Jason got the tea on his relationship with his child’s mother.

Starz Hit Series Power And EFFEN Vodka Bring TRUTH Nightclub To NYC
Here’s something for all you POWER fans: Over the weekend, Vodka and STARZ hit TV- series teamed up to bring the iconic Truth Nightclub to NYC!
The two-night pop-up event were both held in Brooklyn. 50 Cent who is the Executive producer for the show and also plays Kanan Shark, popped out for the first night to surprise fans and give them the real-life experience.

Rotimi, who plays Dre, also came out for the second night to mingle with fans and show everyone what it’s like to really party at TRUTH.
Rotimi, known for his role as Dre on the hit TV series Power, attended the Truth x EFFEN Vodka’s Pop-up on August 2 in New York City.
The nightclub setup was pretty close to the one that’s on the show; the same sign plastered on the front of the building and purple lighting effects inside the club. The Guest’s was also served with cool drinks that were named after the show’s characters and episodes: The O.G., Dirty Money, The St. Patrick, The Mastermind, and The Come Up.
Overall, both nights were a success and fans seemed very happy that they actually got a chance to feel like they’re really a part of the show.
