Oop! Kandi Burruss is clapping back and shutting down Tamar Braxton’s claim that they have “no beef.” Burruss claims she “can’t do the fake sh*t” with Braxton anymore as she calls her out.
As we shared earlier, Braxton recently did an interview with ‘The Morning Hustle’ radio show. During the interview, host Lore’l asked her about the “awkward” photobombing moment she had with Burruss and others at the July 2026 Essence Fest.
Video went viral showing Braxton hopping in a photo, last minute, with Burruss, Monica, Brandy, Tyrese, Missy Elliott, Anthony Anderson, Sherri Shepherd, and Mona Scott Young. In the video, Braxton hugs Burruss before taking her place to pose in the group photo. However, when the photos surfaced, fans noticed Burruss hadn’t posted the images including Braxton.
While taking to TikTok Live, Braxton reviewed and analyzed the video with fans and commented on the online chatter. She said:
“And that was that. That was the gist of it. I don’t know. I don’t think that’s fake. I don’t think that’s weird. I just think saying, ‘Congratulations,’ is home-training and cordial. That’s it. The whole thing was awkward. But I didn’t—it’s awkward. Ok it’s—I know I didn’t say anything wrong.”

Weeks later, Lore’l questioned Braxton about speculation and fans claiming Burruss gave her “mean girl” energy and that they have beef. Braxton reiterated her comments from the IG Live. She said she didn’t care about the speculation and didn’t regret talking to Burruss. She said she doesn’t have any beef with anyone and would rather focus on those who genuinely care about her.
Burruss reportedly commented under The Jasmine Brandi’s post and said, “No beef? But she was just calling me a b*tch as she walked pas[t] me at a party last Saturday. 🙄 I can’t do the fake sh*t.” Burruss then shared a horoscope post about “Taurus never playing victim.” She said, “Stay tuned…♉️.”
Burruss then reposted a clip of Hollywood Unlocked founder and CEO Jason Lee telling Carlos King about his own soured relationship with Braxton. He claimed Braxton used him and his platform to attack Burruss. Burruss wrote over the video, “Interesting… but I’m supposed to be the mean girl. yeah right 😒.”
