President Donald Trump admits to having so much power that he “can say the stupidest things” and his MAGA minions in his crowds “will clap.”
As the 2026 midterms loom, Trump has been on a serious run. During a rally in Clarksville, Tennessee on Saturday evening (October 10), Trump acknowledged his supporters and the unwavering love they have for him.
While reacting to the cheering crowd, Trump turned around to look at everyone. He then faced the camera and said, “There’s such love. It’s like… I mean, it’s amazing. When you stand up here, it’s just like, the love… I can say the stupidest things and you’d clap [and say,] ‘Oh, I love you so much.’” The crowd started laughing and clapping again for Donald Trump.
The President then added:
“But we don’t say the stupidest things. We say things of common sense. We say things that make sense and we probably are mostly conservative. But, it’s not really conservative. It’s things of common sense. We want to have a border. We want to have low taxes. We want to have a great military. We want to have—you know, all the different things. I mean, it’s like, 7, 8, 10, 5, 4—it’s just things that are common sense.”
However, social media users quickly pointed out that in that same rally, Trump said some questionable and “stupid” things. This included him claiming he wanted to rename the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans To Trump Ocean or Ocean of the Americas. He also said he wants to rename the Strait of Hormuz to the Strait of Trump.
