4 Million People Head Back To Work As Italy Eases Out Of Lockdown

Millions of people in Italy returned to work as the country lifted its lockdown. In addition to Italy, France along with Spain — the hardest-hit countries in Europe — are all beginning to loosen their stringent, weekslong lockdown measures, which have been ongoing since mid-March.

The relaxation of measures come as all three countries reported their lowest death rates and new infection rates in weeks. On Sunday, Italian authorities reported a death toll of 174 — the lowest ever since the start of its lockdown on March 10.

During this “Phase 2,” people are allowed to visit relatives within the same region which was previously impossible in a lockdown that had required paperwork to prove the journey was essential. Folks are allowed to exercise outdoors as long as they practice social distancing, according to the BBC. They can also partake in funerals as long as it has a maximum of 15 attendees, according to CNN.

In addition to that, people can visit shops selling bikes and scooters, per La Repubblica. However, schools, cinemas, and most shops will stay shut, the BBC reported.

‘Murder Hornets’ Spotted In The U.S. For The First Time

In addition to the coronavirus pandemic, Americans are now worried about the insect known as the “murder hornets.”

The 2-inch Asian giant hornets were spotted for the first time in the U.S. in recent months, appearing in Washington state, according to the Agriculture Department. NBC News site that the insect does not generally target people or pets. However, the hornets can attack if provoked, officials say and have killed humans in extreme circumstances.

As BBC notes, back in 2013, between July and October, the insects killed a total of 41 people and injured 1,600 in Shaanxi province during a particularly bad hornet season.

Todd Murray, WSU Extension entomologist, and invasive species specialist told WSU Insider the “shockingly large hornet” is a “health hazard and a significant predator of honey bees.”

The department also said,

“Asian giant hornet attacks and destroys honeybee hives. A few hornets can destroy a hive in a matter of hours. The hornets enter a ‘slaughter phase’ where they kill bees by decapitating them. They then defend the hive as their own, taking the brood to feed their own young. They also attack other insects but are not known to destroy entire populations of those insects.”

Washington State officials are currently tracking the hornets and setting up traps to hopefully ease any possible harm, CBS News reports.

A video shared online shows shoppers tightly packed within a small area of the mall which is in violation of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines — which ask individuals to keep 6 feet distance from each other. “Everyone I talked to was in line for a new Air Jordan 5 that sold out online,” tweeted NBC producer Charlie Gile.

The sneaker frenzy comes after Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp allowed nonessential businesses to unlock their doors. Kemp officially reopened the state on April 24, starting with fitness centers and personal care businesses; restaurants and theaters opened back up on April 27. South Carolina, Colorado, and Alabama are also among other states that have eased their restrictions.

Despite that, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms has encouraged everyone to take the right action and continue to social-distance since the coronavirus continues to spread across the state and globe.

According to CNN’s updated report, the Coronavirus has now killed roughly 66,000 people in the US and infected more than 1,100,000.

While Illinois health officials announced Saturday the state’s pandemic death toll rose to 2,559 and its infection total was 58,505, it looks like folks out there are still not taking this pandemic seriously!! In a new video obtained by TMZ shows residents throwing yet another massive party.

This time, dozens of people were parting on the streets of West Chi-Town Saturday night. In the video obtained by the news site, you can see one woman twerking on the hood of a car as the crowd cheers her on. Many of the young adults on video are also seen without protective masks or face coverings.

Now, Mayor Lightfoot did address the latest Chicago corner party on Saturday and threatened partygoers with arrest.

“The time for educating people into compliance is over,” Lightfoot said. “Don’t make us treat you like a criminal, but if you act like a criminal and you violate the law and you refuse to do what is necessary to save lives in this city in the middle of a pandemic, we will take you to jail, period.”

According to the North West Herald, Chicago police say they also broke up several such parties across the city on Friday night and learned the Saturday party was planned.

Los Angeles Rocked By Magnitude-3.3 Earthquake

Early Sunday morning, parts of Los Angeles were rattled by a magnitude-3.3 earthquake.

A screenshot of a map from the Los Angeles Times shows where the earthquake occurred at 3:19 a.m. in the San Fernando Valley. It was aid that light shaking was felt in the northwest section of the Valley, while weak shaking was felt in the rest of the Valley and into downtown Los Angeles and the Westside, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

As the news site notes, citing the Modified Mercalli Intensity Scale, light shaking can wake people up and rattle dishes and windows. It can also rock stationary motor vehicles and can feel like a truck hitting a building. So far, there have been no immediate reports of injuries or damage.

The quake comes nearly two weeks after a magnitude-3.7 temblor shook Los Angeles on April 22. That quake came after three earthquakes of 3.0 or higher in a 10-day period. This latest one also comes just a day after Puerto Rico was hit by a 5.5 magnitude quake which briefly knocked power out for residents. There was also no reports of casualties or damage.

Grim Reaper Pops Up During Live Broadcast To Protest The Reopening Of Florida Beaches

A lawyer has not been happy about Florida governor’s latest decision to reopen beaches, so he’s decided to take action… in a very interesting way.

Just last month, Florida attorney Daniel Uhlfelder announced his move to start touring Florida beaches as the Grim Reaper. It was part of his plan to help encourage folks to continue social distancing while protesting the reopening of the beaches, which he believes is just wrong, especially since the coronavirus is still spreading. Daniel explained in a tweet: “Many of you have asked if I am willing to travel around Florida wearing Grim Reaper attire to the beaches and other areas of the state opening up prematurely. The answer is absolutely yes. Beginning May 1 we will hit the road here in state. Please retweet and spread the word.”

On Friday, Daniel made his grim reaper appearance at a local beach where he spoke to ABC News 13 to further explain his mission. “It’s premature that we open our beaches,” he said in the 13 News appearance.
“I think it’s going to prolong the recovery that we have and we should take better measures.”He added: “It’s too soon and it’s not appropriate.”

In addition to this, Uhlfelder is also attempting to raise money to support local Democratic candidates in upcoming elections.

Donald Trump made the shocking revelation at the White House on Thursday. Trump was asked by a reporter: “Have you seen anything at this point that gives you a high degree of confidence that the Wuhan Institute of Virology was the origin of this virus?” The President responded, “Yes, I have. Yes, I have,” he answered without specifying. He went on to say, “And I think the World Health Organization [WHO] should be ashamed of themselves because they’re like the public relations agency for China,” BBC quotes.

Trump was later asked to clarify his comments but said: “I can’t tell you that. I’m not allowed to tell you that.” In addition to that, he also told reporters: “Whether they [China] made a mistake, or whether it started off as a mistake and then they made another one, or did somebody do something on purpose?”

“I don’t understand how traffic, how people weren’t allowed into the rest of China, but they were allowed into the rest of the world. That’s a bad, that’s a hard question for them to answer.”

Meanwhile, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, which oversees US spy agencies, explained that

“The [intelligence community] will continue to rigorously examine emerging information and intelligence to determine whether the outbreak began through contact with infected animals or if it was the result of an accident at a laboratory in Wuhan.”

Video Of California Deputy Punching 14-Year-Old Boy Prompts Investigation

A new disturbing video is making its rounds on social media as it shows a California deputy subduing and punching a 14-year-old boy repeatedly!

The video starts by showing a deputy in Rancho Cordova with his knee near the boy’s chest while trying to detain him. The officer then slams the teen’s neck to the ground and launches several punches to the young boy’s face. The teen can be seen trying to block the punches but the officer manages to turn him over and place his hands behind his back. It is unclear what happened next as the footage ends there.

Many people who came across the disturbing clip called for an investigation into the incident. Sen. Kamala Harris even tweeted the video, calling the incident a “horrific abuse of power” and added that the officer “must be held accountable.” In a news release, Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Sgt. Tess Deterding said the incident happened on Monday and the investigation is in its “infancy.”

Apparently, the deputy with the Rancho Cordova Police Department was patrolling the area due to complaints about hand-to-hand sales of alcohol, tobacco, and drugs to minors, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office. Deterding claims the deputy lost sight of the adult, who left the scene, and that the boy was uncooperative when approached. The 14-year-old allegedly did not provide “basic identifying information” but said he was 18, ABC7 News reports.

“It’s important to put video footage into context, especially in relation to a use of force incident,” the statement said. “In this case, the deputy saw what he believed to be a hand-to-hand exchange between an adult and juvenile.”

“Having reasonable suspicion that criminal activity was occurring, the deputy attempted to detain the juvenile so he could conduct further investigation,” the statement read. “The juvenile became physically resistive at that time, causing the deputy to lose control of his handcuffs, which landed several feet away.”

Deterding went on to say that the deputy found the teen with tobacco products, “which is presumably the reason for his resistance.” However, the 14-year-old boy was cited and released to his guardians.

They’re still conducting an investigation “in order to gain a complete and thorough understanding of the events that took place during this incident.”

‘Life of Pi’ And ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ Actor Irrfan Khan Dies At 53

The Hollywood world has lost another star. Irrfan Khan, Bollywood icon known internationally for his roles in “Life Of Pi” and “Slumdog Millionaire,” has sadly passed away. His representative confirmed the news Wednesday:

“It’s saddening that this day, we have to bring forward the news of him passing away,” read a statement from Khan’s PR agency, Hardly Anonymous Communications. “Irrfan was a strong soul, someone who fought till the very end and always inspired everyone who came close to him.”

Khan, one of India’s best-known and most beloved actors, revealed back in March 2018 that he had been diagnosed with a rare neuroendocrine tumor which is an abnormal growth that begins in the body’s specialized neuroendocrine cells, according to the Mayo Clinic. Khan was admitted to the ICU in Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Tuesday due to a colon infection, but his condition is said to have deteriorated.

“After having been struck by lightning in 2018 with the news of a rare cancer, he took life soon after as it came and he fought the many battles that came with it. Surrounded by his love, his family for whom he most cared about, he left for heaven abode, leaving behind truly a legacy of his own. We all pray and hope that he is at peace.”

As CNN reports, Khan’s mother also died last week. Unfortunately Khan was unable to attend her last rites owing to India’s ongoing nationwide coronavirus lockdown restricting citizens’ movements, the agency said.

Khan, who was just 53-years-old, leaves behind a wife and two children. He will be deeply missed.

30-Year-Old Brooklyn Teacher Dies of Coronavirus After Her Symptoms Were Dismissed As A Panic Attack

Family and good friends of Rana Zoe Mungin, are mourning the loss of the beloved 30-year-old teacher who died Monday of COVID-19.

As PEOPLE Magazine reports, Rana, who was a social studies teacher at Ascend Academy in Brooklyn, struggled to get treatment after contracting the virus mid March. Although she had two preexisting conditions: asthma and hypertension which put her at high risk of developing a severe case of the virus, it was still a struggle for her to get the right help. Her sister Mia, a registered nurse, told PIX11 that Rana had a fever and shortness of breath, but was turned away from emergency rooms twice, and one paramedic believed she was just having a “panic attack.” “He insinuated she was having a panic attack. She kept saying ‘I can’t breathe,’ ” Mia told the news outlet.

On March 20, five days after her first attempt to get treated or tested for COVID, Rana was finally admitted to Brookdale Hospital. From there, doctors immediately put her on a ventilator as she continued to struggle to breathe. Mia tried to get Rana included in the trial of remdesivir, one of several drugs being tested as a possible COVID-19 treatment, but they then learned she wasn’t eligible.

On April 18, Rana Zoe woke up and was able to open her eyes, and doctors tried to help her breathe without the ventilator. Just days later, April 27, Rana Zoe sadly died at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan.

“It is with heavy heart that I have to inform you all that my sister Rana Zoe … has passed away today at 12:25pm due to COVID-19 complication,” Mia posted on Twitter. “She fought a long fight but her body was too weak.”

As PEOPLE reports, Rana Zoe is just one of 28 New York City teachers who have died from COVID-19 since March, the new site notes citing PIX11.

CNN’s Chris Cuomo Says He’s Officially Tested Negative For Coronavirus

During Monday night’s segment with Dr. Sanjay Gupta on “Cuomo Prime Time,” CNN anchor Chris Cuomo revealed that he has officially tested negative for coronavirus.

The news comes nearly a month after he contracted the virus. Now, despite being cleared, Cuomo revealed that he has “both antibodies,” but remained confused about how much having antibodies protects him from further illness.”

“Is this good news or not? I thought I was going to have this big, great news after all the bad news I’ve given you about me and my family,” Cuomo wondered. “I tested negative. I have both antibodies: The short-term one and the long-term one. So I’m lucky, right?” Cuomo then leaned on Dr. Sanjay Gupta for his professional take on whether he and others who have antibodies are protected against the illness. The doc explained, “Presumably, you’re going to have some protection against this.”

He added,

“I think that’s what most virologists will say [and] that’s what your friend, Dr. Anthony Fauci, says as well,” Dr. Gupta said. “The thing is we need to prove it out and that takes some time, to actually show that these antibodies are going to protect you.”

“Presumably, there should be some neutralizing activity, but it may be different person-to-person,” Dr. Gupta explained. “There’s been some evidence recently, for example, [of] people who have had more significant illness [who] may have antibodies with more neutralizing activity. And, people who’ve had milder illness [who] may have antibodies with less neutralizing activity. But again, we have to prove this out.”

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott Says He Will End Stay-Home Orders Thursday

Welp, as expected, Texas will reopen this week. Gov. Greg Abbott made the big announcement during a new conference this Monday and said the state’s stay-at-home order will expire on Thursday.

According to CNN, the Republican’s new order, which supersedes local orders, will officially allow businesses like retail stores, malls, restaurants and theaters to reopen Friday but limits occupancy to 25%. In addition to that, the order will also allow libraries and museums to open. However, he noted that he wants barbershops, salons, gyms and bars open “as soon as possible” and expects them to open no later than mid-May.

“It’s been a collective effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, and because of your efforts, the COVID-19 spread has been on the decline the past 17 days,” Gov. Abbott said during the press conference. He added, “It [The state’s stay at home order] has done its job to slow the growth of COVID-19 and I will let it expire as scheduled. Now it’s time to set a new course. A course that responsibly opens up business in Texas.” -Gov. Abbott

As KFox14 reports, the state, which has seen 25,297 COVID-19 cases and 11,170 recoveries, has the third-highest recovery amounts in the country.

Texas Man Gets 18 Months In Prison For Threatening To Kill President Trump

A Texas man named Mickael Eyob Gedlu was sentenced to 18 months in federal prison for making death threats against President Trump on social media.

According to The Daily News, the 36-year-old pleaded guilty back in December and faced up to five years in prison. However, he received the reduced sentence and will now serve just three years of supervised release after leaving prison.

According to the Dallas Morning News, Gedlu reportedly wrote “I’m waiting for Trump to visit Dallas before I attempt to assassinate him” in the comments section of a Fox News YouTube video on Dec. 29, 2018. Feds found his threat to be very alarming since he does have a history of targeting the president.

Gedlu had previously been detained by police in Dallas outside a hotel that President Trump attended a fundraiser at. He reportedly carried a sign that said “Kill Trump” and yelling “kill the president.”

The Daily News notes that the Secret Service took on the investigation and were assisted by the Dallas police, prosecutors said.

Trump has not publicly addressed this attempted attack. In the meantime, the President has been dealing with latest pandemic by encouraging states to reopen the economy. So far, Texas and Florida have began to do so.

UPDATE: South Korean Official Says Kim Jong Un Is ‘Alive And Well’

As we previously reported, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was said to be in a “vegetative state” following botched heart surgery. Shortly after that report, multiple news outlets reported that Kim Jong Un had died after complications from the procedure.

While details on his condition haven’t been exactly clear, officials from South Korea are speaking out to shut down some of these “rumors,” and to let the public know that he is “alive and well.”

Moon Chung-in, the top foreign policy adviser to South Korean President Moon Jae-in, told CNN: “Our government position is firm,” Moon Chung-in said. “Kim Jong Un is alive and well. He has been staying in the Wonsan area since April 13. No suspicious movements have so far been detected.”

Initially, it was rumored that Kim had received a cardiovascular procedure because of “excessive smoking, obesity, and overwork” and was “in grave danger,” according to CNN.

The new update also says that Kim is reportedly being looked after by a small medical team while recovering. Officials did not give an exact day as to when Kim will return to the public.

Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz explained that Puerto Rico is facing a number of difficulties in its coronavirus recovery efforts—and that it is still waiting on stimulus checks. Cruz said:

“No one in Puerto Rico has received their $1200 coronavirus stimulus checks from the federal government. We’re having problems with a local $500 check that the governor said was going to be distributed.” In addition to that, she said the island has struggled to fulfill new requests for food stamps and over 130,000 pending unemployment requests.

On top of struggling to get resources to the people who need them most, Cruz says they have insufficient equipment and tests to check its residents for the virus.

“Money is not getting into people’s hands because of the current local government of Puerto Rico, and perhaps, guidelines that have not been distributed,” said Cruz. “But the problem is not getting the support that we need. The problem is that the support goes to the higher levels of government, and doesn’t reach the people that it’s supposed to reach.”

During her appearance on the news show, Cruz also criticized the President Trump’s lack of leadership during the pandemic. She denounced him for spreading false information about consuming disinfectants to curb the spread of the virus.

UPDATE: 2 Chainz Will Not Reopen His Atlanta Restaurants For Dine-In Service

Welp just less than 24 hours after announcing the reopening of 2 Chainz’s Atlanta restaurants, it looks like he’s not moving forward after all.

As we previously reported, both of 2 Chainz’s joints, Escobar Restaurant and Tapas, were planning to reopen their dine-in service back up starting Monday. Although we’re still in a pandemic, his business partner and co-owner, Snoop Dillard, ensured TMZ that they were making public safety a top priority.

Despite that, some folks had mixed feelings about the move. While some people didn’t mind, others thought it was just too early to open back up since the coronavirus cases are still climbing through the roof. According to the latest updates by TMZ, Dillard told the news site that “After careful consideration, we are not going to open our restaurants on Monday. It has not officially been decided when we will start having dine-in service.”

The rapper has not publicly commented on the latest changes. However, aside from this, 2 Chainz and Snoop have been helping out during these unprecedented times.

They’ve donated hundreds of meals to medical workers on the frontlines and they were even planning to give more free meals to workers at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.

China Reports No Coronavirus Deaths For The 10th Straight Day

According to the updated reports, it looks like China is improving.

The Associated Press shared that China reported no new deaths from the coronavirus for the 10th straight day. Only, twelve new cases were reported on Saturday. 11 were brought from overseas and one local transmission in the northeastern province of Heilongjiang bordering Russia, according to the Press citing the National Health Commission.

Meanwhile, just 838 people remain hospitalized with COVID-19 while another 1,000 are currently undergoing isolation and monitoring for being either suspected cases or having tested positive for the virus while showing no symptoms, the news site reports.

Overall China, which is believed to be the source of the latest global pandemic, has reported 4,632 deaths among 82,816 cases.

While China appears to be getting things together, it’s been much of a challenge here in the U.S. Both the death toll and cases of infections continue to rise while some states plan to reopen.

As of Friday, confirmed coronavirus cases world-wide climbed to 2.78 million, with more than 195,000 dead, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. The U.S. accounted for nearly a third of the cases, exceeding 890,000, and more than a quarter of the deaths, at 51,017, according to the Johns Hopkins data.

Thousands Of California Residents Flock To Open Beaches Despite Stay-At-Home Order

On Friday, California recorded its deadliest day yet in the pandemic, with 115 fatalities in the 24 hours from Wednesday to Thursday, according to the Daily Mail. As of Thursday, there were more than 40,000 confirmed cases in the state. The death toll currently stands at 1,597.

Although the numbers of fatalities and cases are expected to grow, it looks like folks out In California don’t seem to be worried. Thousands of Californians flocked to open beaches during a heatwave Friday despite Gov. Gavin Newsom’s pleas for them to stay home. 

Pictures that were taken in Huntington Beach, an Orange County city, on Friday show large crowds gathering as they enjoy the spring heatwave. Other locations reached 90 degrees Fahrenheit or higher well before noon, the National Weather Service said, and officials are bracing for even larger crowds this weekend, according to The Daily Mail. Over 10,000 people are said to have headed to Newport beach Friday. 

Earlier, Newsom tweeted Friday: “It’s going to be nice outside this weekend. You might be feeling cooped up. Ready for life to go back to “normal.” But can’t stress this enough: CA can only keep flattening the curve if we stay home and practice physical distancing. You have the power to literally save lives.”

California has been under a mandatory stay-at-home order since March 19 due to the coronavirus pandemic and it looks like they just wanted out.

Chris Cuomo’s Wife Cristina Is Mocked After Saying She Bathes In CLOROX To Treat Coronavirus

The wife of CNN host Chris Cuomo is raising eyebrows after revealing on her lifestyle blog that she poured half a cup of Clorox in her bath twice a week to help cure her coronavirus.

In her post, the Magazine editor explained that the bleach is “technically salt” and she used it to “combat the radiation and metals in my system.” The 50-year-old claims the advice was provided by Dr. Linda Lancaster: ”At the direction of my doctor, Dr. Linda Lancaster, who reminded me that this is an oxygen-depleting virus, she suggested I take a bath and add a nominal amount of bleach. Yes, bleach,” Cristina wrote. “So, I add a small amount– ½ cup ONLY–of Clorox to a full bath of warm water–why? To combat the radiation and metals in my system and oxygenate it,” The Daily Mail quotes.

Now, this all comes as a shock as it is clearly stated by Clorox that contact with skin should be avoided. Despite that, Christina shared a direct quote from Lancaster in which the natural medicine physician claims that bleach is essentially just “salt.”

“We want to neutralize heavy metals because they slow-up the electromagnetic frequency of our cells, which is our energy field, and we need a good flow of energy. Clorox is sodium chloride–which is technically salt. There is no danger in doing this. It is a simple naturopathic treatment that has been used for over 75 years to oxygenate the cells,’” Lancaster said, according to The Daily Mail.

Of course, social media users had a field day with this. One Twitter user said, “My god, Chris Cuomo’s wife, Cristina, maybe one of the dumbest people alive.” Others shared that they were disappointed in her and compared her to Donald Trump, who recently touted that injecting disinfectants may cure the virus.

Both Cristina and Chris Cuomo have been battling COVID-19. While the CNN anchor says he is feeling better, Cristina is still experiencing symptoms. She’s working to help her son through the illness, as well.

UPDATE: FDA Warns AGAINST Using Anti-Malaria Drug Hydroxychloroquine Touted By Trump

The malaria drugs hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine that we’re hailed by Donald Trump as a being ‘game-changer’ for treating COVID-19, is now getting negative feedback from the US Food and Drug Administration.

This Friday, the FDA warned against using the drug after several reports of abnormal heart rhythms and rapid heart rates in patients who took the medication. 

“The FDA is aware of reports of serious heart rhythm problems in patients with COVID-19 treated with hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine, often in combination with azithromycin,’ the FDA wrote in a statement issued on Friday. The agency added, “We are also aware of increased use of these medicines through outpatient prescriptions. Therefore, we would like to remind health care professionals and patients of the known risks associated with both hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine.”

Now, what’s strange is that some patients claimed that the drug worked. A very small number reported the same. However, since then, much of the initial excitement surround hydroxychloroquine has died down.

Despite that, the agency said hydroxychloroquine can still be used in clinical trials or in some hospitalized patients. As the Daily Mail notes, It’s not immediately clear if any trials are in progress or planned trials will be halted based on the new guidance.

Lysol Warns Against Injecting Disinfectant After Donald Trump Speculates On Coronavirus Cure

Just hours after Trump suggested the possibility of an “injection” of disinfectant into a person infected with the coronavirus as a cure, the company Lysol is now speaking out to warn folks not to listen to the President.

Lysol issued a statement on its website this Friday morning titled “Improper Use of Disinfectants.”

“We must be clear that under no circumstance should our disinfectant products be administered into the human body (through injection, ingestion, or any other route),” Lysol said in a statement. “As with all products, our disinfectant and hygiene products should only be used as intended and in line with usage guidelines.”

The message to customers comes on the heels of a White House coronavirus briefing where Trump made those disturbing suggestions.

“I see the disinfectant that knocks it out in a minute, one minute,” Trump said. “And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning? As you see, it gets in the lungs, it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it would be interesting to check that.”

In response, Bill Bryan, an undersecretary of science and technology at the Department of Homeland Security, said “We don’t do that within that lab, at our labs.”
