Kanye West Was Reportedly So ‘Obsessed’ With Adolf Hitler, He Wanted To Name His 2018 Album ‘Ye’ After The Dictator

Socialites, get into this. An explosive new report via CNN claims that Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, is alleged to have an “obsession” with Adolf Hitler, the notorious dictator responsible for the Holocaust that killed over six million Jews between 1941 to 1945. According to the publication’s sources, Ye is so fascinated by Hitler that he actually intended to name his 2018 album “Ye” after the Austrian-born politician.

What’s more, Ye allegedly admired German Nazis and made it no secret to having read Hitler’s policy statement, “Mein Kampf.” A business executive who formerly worked with the “Real Friends” rapper had told the news outlet, “He would praise Hitler by saying how incredible it was that he was able to accumulate so much power and would talk about all the great things he and the Nazi Party achieved for the German people.”

Ye has probably experienced the biggest and fastest career downfall in history following a string of anti-semitic comments on social media that infuriated the Jewish community, particularly the higher-ups in Hollywood. Countless brands who shared long working relationships with Ye have since cut ties with him, including perhaps his most lucrative partnership with Adidas. The German corporation announced earlier this week it would no longer be working with Ye, saying the move was effective immediately.

In a statement shared on Tuesday, the firm said, “Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech. Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful, and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.”

Prior to Adidas distancing themselves from Ye, other companies that had stopped doing business with the father-of-four include Gap and Foot Locker, while talent agency CAA said they would no longer be representing Ye as they don’t condone hate speech nor his anti-semitic remarks about Jewish people.

On Wednesday, it was reported that Ye’s Donda Academy basketball team had been scrapped from playing in the Scholastic Play-By-Play Classics tournament in connection to the anti-semitic controversy. “We will no longer be hosting Donda Academy at this year’s Play-By-Play Classics events, including the Kentucky Play-By-Play Classic scheduled for December 11, 2022 at Freedom Hall in Louisville, KY,” an official statement read.

Socialites, do you think Ye is going to be able to bounce back from this or do you think his career is officially over?
