‘QAnon Shaman’ Capitol Rioter Asks Trump For Pardon After Storming U.S. Capitol

#Socialites, get into this! The attorney representing the so-called “QAnon Shaman” who stormed the US Capitol in a bizarre costume wants President Trump to pardon his client before he leaves office next week.

Attorney Al Watkins said his client Jacob Chansley, 33, was acting on Trump’s invitation when he and other Trump supporters broke into the Capitol on Jan. 6, as Congress began formally counting the Electoral College votes to certify President-elect Joe Biden’s win.

Watkins said in a statement to the Kansas City Star, “The words and invitation of a president are supposed to mean something.” He added that his client “took seriously the countless messages of President Trump. Like tens of millions of other Americans, Chansley felt — for the first time in his life — as though his voice was being heard.”

As we previously reported, Chansley turned himself in on Saturday and now faces charges of disorderly conduct, violent entry and illegally being on restricted spaces within the Capitol grounds. Despite that, Watkins said his client handled himself in a “peaceful and compliant fashion” during the siege, which left five dead, including a police officer.

No word if Trump plans to pardon any of his supporters since he too has big problems of his own after being impeached for the second time.

Joe Biden is putting $2,000 stimulus checks back in play!

According to CNN, President-elect Biden is expected to unveil a coronavirus relief plan this Thursday that includes the largest direct payment yet for American families, significant state and local funding — including for coronavirus vaccine distribution and other emergency spending measures — to help those struggling during the coronavirus pandemic.

Brian Deese, Biden’s pick to lead the National Economic Council, said Wednesday at a conference that the package will include $2,000 stimulus checks, and address other relief measures like unemployment insurance, the news site notes. Biden is set to announce the details of his plan in Wilmington, Delaware, this evening.

As we previously reported, current Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell initially rejected a standalone bill on increasing the value of the checks from $600, but with Democrats about to take control of the chamber — and of Congress — following victories in two Georgia Senate runoff elections, Biden will likely have the votes to approve increased relief spending, CNN reports.

While promoting her upcoming Lifetime biopic, “Wendy Williams: The Movie,” the talk show host held a panel and opened up for the first time about being sexually assaulted by late singer, Sherrick.

Williams told reporters that Sherrick “date raped” her years ago before they went to a party together, according to People. “He flipped the interview around to where he was interviewing me — I was just gaga over this man and he asked me to go to an opening party, an album release party, with him that night. And before the party, I was date-raped by him,” she told the crowd and later shared that she was also date-raped when she was in college, the outlet noted.

Sherrick’s widow, Lynne Conner Smith, is now breaking her silence on Wendy Williams’ sexual assault allegations against her late husband, telling Page Six that Williams should let Sherrick “rest in peace,” as the man she loves “is not here to defend himself.” She added: “Sherrick was a beautiful man, a genius with a voice like an angel. We have three amazing children. This is quite painful to not only us but his nieces and siblings.” Smith then went on to question the timing of Williams’ remarks:

“Why would Wendy not call the police if it were true?” she told us. “Why did she go out with him? We have questions, too!” She added that Williams “waited 25 to 30 years” to speak up when she “tells the truth as a career!” It’s hard to believe,” she said. “Why now?!”

Wendy William’s biopic is set to be released on Lifetime on Jan. 30.

New York Attorney General Sues NYPD For Excessive Force Against Black Lives Matter Protesters

On Thursday, New York state Attorney General Letitia James filed a lawsuit against New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio, NYPD, and the city’s police commissioner over the police who used excessive force against racial justice protesters in the wake of the killing of George Floyd last year.

The suit that was filed in Manhattan federal court, comes after a monthslong investigation into the NYPD’s actions during the Black Lives Matter protests over the killing of Floyd that found that officers allegedly used “indiscriminate, unjustified, and repeated use of batons, pepper spray, bicycles and a crowd control tactic known as ‘kettling’ against peaceful protestors,” the release said.

“There is no question that the NYPD engaged in a pattern of excessive, brutal, and unlawful force against peaceful protesters,” said James adding, “Over the past few months, the NYPD has repeatedly and blatantly violated the rights of New Yorkers, inflicting significant physical and psychological harm and leading to great distrust in law enforcement.”

The suit which names the NYPD, the City of New York, Mayor Bill de Blasio, NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea and NYPD Chief of Department Terence Monahan blames them for failing to address a “longstanding pattern of abuse” by not properly training, supervising or disciplining officers to prevent and address misconduct, the release said, according to CNN.

In adding to James suit, she also wants to install an external monitor to oversee the department’s policing tactics.

The latest big tech company that gave the President the boot is Snapchat. Last week, the company announced that it would just suspend him but now it will not allow him to have any access… ever again.

“In the interest of public safety, and based on his attempts to spread misinformation, hate speech, and incite violence, which are clear violations of our guidelines, we have made the decision to permanently terminate his account,” a company spokesperson said in a statement to POLITICO.

As we previously reported, a number of social media networks have ousted the president from their platforms after last week’s deadly attack on the Capitol by Trump’s supporters. Twitter and Facebook both put temporary suspensions on the president’s accounts shortly after, and Twitter permanently banned Trump on Friday.

911 Call That Led To The Felony Murder Warrant For YFN Lucci’s Arrest, Released

In an exclusive report, TMZ reveals the 911 call that led to the felony murder warrant for YFN Lucci’s arrest. As we previously reported, the rapper was wanted by Atlanta PD’s homicide unit for his alleged role in a man’s death. He has since turned himself into authorities and was booked into the Fulton County jail Wednesday.

Meanwhile, in an audio clip of the 911 call obtained by TMZ, an Atlanta woman details what she saw last month — a white SUV speeding by “with a man hanging out of the car.” She says she eventually saw the man get shoved out onto the street. The witness also told the operator the victim appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound to the head and begged them to get an ambulance to the location because she believed the man was “still trying to fight for his life.”

As the news site notes, the woman remained on the scene while waiting for the ambulance, standing near the victim — up until she saw him “taking his last breath.” The victim was rushed to Grady Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. He was later identified as 28-year-old James Adams, according to CBS46.

As of right now, it is still unclear what exactly Lucci’s alleged role was in this murder.

The inauguration committee unveiled on Twitter, early this Thursday, that the 34-year-old singer would perform “The Star-Spangled Banner,” adding some celebrity power to the swearing-in event.

In addition to this, the ceremony also will include a musical performance by Jennifer Lopez. The superstar even confirmed the news on Twitter this morning, sharing an official Flyer with the caption: ❤️🤍💙 #Inauguration2021

A virtual parade and other live-streamed events are also planned. More performances and guests are expected to be announced in the days leading up to January 20th.

During a panel promoting her upcoming Lifetime biopic on Tuesday, Wendy Williams, 56, shared her sexual assault story for the first time.

While speaking about the film which will revisit some of the TV personality’s toughest times, including her struggles with substance abuse and her divorce, it will also cover Williams’ never-before-told story of date rape at the hands of late R&B singer Sherrick, an artist from the 1980s, according to PEOPLE Magazine.

During the panel Williams said she met Sherrick during an interview and explained that “he mesmerized me with his twinkling eyes,” she told reporters. “He flipped the interview around to where he was interviewing me — I was just gaga over this man and he asked me to go to an opening party, an album release party, with him that night. And before the party, I was date-raped by him,” she continued, sharing that she was also date-raped when she was in college, the outlet noted.

Williams went on to say, “ those types of things happen to girls all the time,” Williams added. “And they’ve been happening a lot, to a lot of our mothers, grandmothers, great-great-grandmothers, and their great-great-grandmothers, too.”

Earlier, Williams also talked about her relationship with her ex-husband Kevin Hunter. Despite their rocky past, the talk show host told PEOPLE that she has “no regrets.”

“The life that I’m living right now is my best life, and I have no guilt about saying that,” she said. “I don’t regret meeting Kevin, I don’t regret falling in love, I don’t regret staying with him for all 25 years, 21 of them married. I like who I am, so I have no regrets,” she added.

Welp, a discussion between Donald Trump and Mike Pence leaked and revealed the amount of pressure he put on the Vice President to overturn the election.

Two people familiar with the call told the New York Times that the President used one of his favorite phrases to try and convince Pence to help change the results of the 2020 US Election. He made the last-ditch attempt to push Pence into intervening on 6 January, shortly before he was to head to the Capitol: “you can either go down in history as a patriot, or you can go down in history as a p***y,” Trump reportedly said.

It was said that Mr. Pence did allegedly look into whether he had the power to intervene, however, his counsel explained that he did not. Trump later took a jab at him on Twitter saying,

“Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the truth!” Trump wrote.

Now while Trump scolded Pence for not doing his bidding, it seems like the VP stood up for Trump in his final days. Since the Capitol riots, many have asked Mike Pence to pull the pin on Trump’s time as President. However, he has refused to do so.

According to the news site, just days before hip-hop mogul Dr. Dre was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital with a suspected brain aneurysm, his estranged wife Nicole filed divorce documents detailing years of violent and emotional abuse. She claimed in the court papers that the 55-year-old producer held a gun to her head, punched her in the face, and slammed her against a wall, lifting her off her feet by her neck.

“Andre held a gun to my head on two occasions, on January 8, 2000, and November 20, 2001,’ she claimed. “Andre has punched me in the head/face on two occasions, in 1999 and on January 8, 2000. Andre kicked down the door to a bedroom in which I was hiding from his rage in 2016,” she added. “Andre has verbally and emotionally decimated my personhood to the extent that I currently suffer from post-traumatic stress syndrome,” the Daily Mail quotes. It was noted that Nicole, 50, who’s fighting in court for her share of Dre’s estimated $1 billion empire – made her shocking charges in response to her soon-to-be-ex husband’s declaration last week. As we previously reported, he denied her claims saying that “at no time did I abuse Nicole or threaten her physical safety,” during their 24-year marriage.

In her filing she goes on to argue that Dre should pay for all her expenses in the manner he did during the marriage. As we previously reported, Nicole officially filed for divorce from Dre on June 29, after 24 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. The estranged couple shares two adult children, son Truice and daughter Truly.

Apparently, the gifts went down very well, as there were said to be “tears” amid the excitement as the crew was presented with the sweet, memorable presents. While Kardashians and the production team thanked everyone with speeches and sent well-wishes after the show wrapped, crew members also looked back on some of their favorite memories working on ‘KUWTK’ and several of them reportedly said they would have stayed with the show for so many years because it was fun working with the fam.

Although there will no longer be “KUWTK,” the famous family are set to head over to Hulu after 20 seasons with their E! crew.

YouTube Is Suspending President Donald Trump’s Channel

After Trump failed to show leadership during the deadly Capitol riots, several social media companies kicked him off their platforms. Twitter permanently banned Trump’s personal account on Friday amid the violent Capitol Hill riots. Facebook and Instagram also blocked the President “indefinitely” from posting for at least two weeks. Now, Youtube is also giving him the boot… temporarily.

In a statement to The New York Post, YouTube explained that content from Trump’s channel was removed Tuesday for violating YouTube’s policies and over concerns it would incite violence. The tech giant then added it will also be disabling comments underneath videos on his channel.

“After careful review, and in light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence, we removed new content uploaded to the Donald J. Trump channel and issued a strike for violating our policies for inciting violence,” a YouTube spokeswoman said in a statement to the outlet. “As a result, in accordance with our long-standing strikes system, the channel is now prevented from uploading new videos or livestreams for a minimum of seven days — which may be extended,” the statement continued. The company told The Post that it had issued one strike against Trump’s channel. A second strike would result in a two-week suspension and a third strike means the channel would be terminated.

Due to his poor handling during the riots that led to 5 deaths, the House will vote to impeach Trump for an historic second time today after Vice President Pence refused to invoke 25th Amendment.

Black Police Officer Praised After He Lured Rioters Away From The Senate chambers During Capitol Riot

While several cops were seen letting violent Trump supporters into the U.S. Capitol and even took pictures with someone of them, one cop was trying his best to protect the property and those inside.

A video posted on Twitter by HuffPost’s Igor Bobic shows the Black officer, identified as Eugene Goodman, being chased by white rioters as he heads to the second floor of the Senate side of the Capitol building. While it looked like he was trying to get away from them, he was actually diverting rioters from the Senate chamber, where lawmakers were taking cover.

The harrowing video went viral, with nearly 10 million views on Bobic’s post as of Monday. Goodman, who is an Army veteran who spent time in Iraq, is now being hailed as a hero for his quick thinking and brave move during such an intense and very crucial moment. Meanwhile, the leader of the mob who chased him, the man is seen in the video wearing a QAnon t-shirt, has been identified as Doug Jensen of Iowa. Jensen was arrested Friday night and he was booked into the Polk County Jail.

So far, two Capitol Police officers have been suspended for their actions during last week’s riots inside the U.S. Capitol building and several more are under investigation, Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio, according to Fox News.

During the virtual ceremony which took place in New York City on Monday, Jan. 11, Chadwick was honored with the Actor Tribute, while his Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom co-star Viola Davis received the Actress Tribute Award. While accepting his award on his behalf at the 30th Annual IFP Gotham Awards, which is run by the Independent Filmmaker Project, Taylor Simone Ledward praised her late husband who passed away at the age of 43 in August following a battle with colon cancer.

“As an artist, an actor, and a person, Chad made a practice of telling the truth,” Ledward said. “He was the most honest person I ever met, because he didn’t just stop at speaking the truth, he actively searched for it – in himself, in those around him, and in the moment.” She added, “It became how he lived his life, day in and out. Imperfect and determined. In doing so, he was able to give himself over fully in every moment, to be totally present in his own life and in the lives of people he became. He was blessed to live many lives within his concentrated one,” E! News quotes. Taylor tearfully continued: “He harnessed the power of letting go and letting God’s love shine through… That’s what he was doing when he was acting. Not merely telling a story or reading lines off a page, but modeling for us a path of true fulfillment.”

Retired Air Force lieutenant Arrested For Role In Capitol Riot After Ex-Wife Reported Him To The Feds

The feds are cracking down on a bunch of Trump supporters who participated in the deadly Capitol riots last week.

The latest person to be taken into custody is Larry Rendell Brock — a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel in the Air Force Reserves. He was identified as the man who was photographed wearing combat gear, including a green helmet, and carrying “white flex cuffs” while on the Senate floor. According to NBC 5 in Dallas, the 53-year-old surrendered to FBI agents on Sunday after he agreed to meet them at the police department in Grapevine, Texas.

His arrest affidavit alleges that several people actually turned in Brock after recognizing him in the news footage, but his ex-wife of 18 years was one of the people who reported him to the FBI. “I just know that when I saw this was happening, I was afraid he would be there,” Brock’s ex-wife allegedly told the FBI, according to the affidavit. “I think you already know he was there. It is such a good picture and I recognize his patch,” People Magazine quotes.

The affidavit says a second witness also reported Brock to the FBI the same day, telling the authorities: “It looks like him and he has pilot wings on his chest in this picture. He was an A-10 pilot. Worked at L3, and he still has contacts that work with L3 that knew he was flying to Washington DC,” TMZ quotes.

So what was his reason for participating? he says it’s because “The President asked for his supporters to be there to attend, and I felt like it was important.” Meanwhile, he’s also denying that he had intentions with the zip ties though, claiming he found them inside the Capitol and planned to return them to police.

Rioter Richard Barnett Who Lounged In Nancy Pelosi’s Office Says He Was ‘Pushed’ In

Richard Barnett — the rioters who stormed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s room during the siege of the US Capitol claimed on video that he was “pushed” inside her quarters.

A new video obtained by the New York post shows Barnett being interviewed right after the Capitol attack. He explained what made him partake in the illegal activity while speaking with YouTuber Brandon Buckingham.

“They started it! I came to peacefully protest! They Maced me,” Barnett tells the reporter. “I didn’t break in — I got pushed in,” Barnett adds as he holds an envelope with Pelosi’s letterhead. “I paid a quarter for this. I’m not a thief! It had my blood on it.” Barnett, who goes by the nickname Bigo, also said he left the speaker a note. “It’s on her desk right now and, Nancy, when you get back to work, you can read it,” he continues. “I’m gonna tell you what it says … it says, ‘Nancy, Bigo was here, you b—!’”

As we previously reported, the FBI last week arrested the Arkansas man Richard Barnett, who was photographed with his feet on a desk in Pelosi’s office. He confirmed his identity to multiple news outlets and said that he took a piece of mail from Pelosi’s office, in addition to leaving a profane note. As the Associated Press notes, he now faces three federal charges, including knowingly entering or remaining on restricted grounds without authority, violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, and theft of public property or records.

UPDATE: Dr. Dre Still In ICU As Doctors Try To Figure Out What Caused Brain Aneurysm

According to the latest update by TMZ, Dr. Dre is still in intensive care, one week after he was rushed to the hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm.

Sources tell the news site that Dre is still in ICU at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. as doctors continue to do a battery of tests to get to the root of the problem. TMZ also reports that doctors want to keep him in ICU just in case he suffers another aneurysm.

It was said that the music legend is staying positive through it all and resting comfortably, and perhaps even more encouraging, sources say docs have cautiously informed his family that a “bad outcome” doesn’t appear to be on the horizon, TMZ reports.

As we previously reported, Dre suffered the aneurysm at his Pacific Palisades home Monday and was rushed by ambulance to Cedars. Since then, he has released a statement, ensuring fans that he will be ok:

CAUGHT: The man who was snapped smiling while walking away carrying House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s lectern has been arrested.

The images of 36-year-old Adam Johnson were plastered online and on TV during and after the insurrection, so it wasn’t particularly hard to find him. He could be seen gleaming and waving at the camera as he headed out the door of the U.S. Capitol.

Adam Johnson was caught Friday night on a federal warrant in Florida, where he lives. Johnson reportedly has a wife and 5 kids and is a stay-at-home dad. There’s currently a nationwide sweep to round up and arrest those who participated in the deadly riots. The FBI now believes this could have been an inside job where people who work in the building provided specific details and instructions for the rioters.

This comes shortly after the arrest of Richard Barnett, the man who allegedly broke into House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office, posed for pictures and stole mail from her desk. He was arrested Friday morning in Little Rock, Arkansas, and has been charged with three federal counts.

Nancy Pelosi Says Democrats Will Move To Impeach Trump If He Does Not “Willingly” Resign

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California said Friday that the House would move to impeach President Donald Trump over his role in inciting a violent mob attack on the Capitol if he does not resign “immediately.”

The effort to impeach President Donald Trump for a second time in a little more than a year gained momentum on Friday as a growing number of Democrats in Congress shared their support for the move. In a letter to her Democratic colleagues, Pelosi suggested that she would move forward with impeachment proceedings if the president doesn’t resign or if Vice President Pence and a majority of the Trump cabinet declined to remove him from power using the 25th Amendment to the Constitution.

“Following the President’s dangerous and seditious acts, Republicans in Congress need to … call on Trump to depart his office – immediately,” she wrote. “If the President does not leave office imminently and willingly, the Congress will proceed with our action.” The House of Representatives is already set to introduce articles of impeachment against President Trump as early as Monday, source says. That could set up a vote in the House early to the middle of next week. This would be the second time the House has unveiled articles of impeachment against President Trump.

In December 2019, the House impeached Trump on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. But the Senate acquitted him on both charges last February.

Tracy Chapman Wins $450K In Copyright Suit Against Rapper Nicki Minaj

Back in 2018, Tracy Chapman sued rapper Nicki Minaj over her song titled, “Sorry.” Chapman alleged that Minaj asked for permission to sample her song, but went ahead with it anyway when Chapman rejected the request.

Chapman, 56, and Minaj were set to go to trial over Chapman’s claims later this year, but Minaj made an offer to avoid that from happening, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The news site also notes that the 38-year-old rap star agreed to pay Tracy Chapman $450,000 in addition to Chapman’s legal fees after she was sued for copyright infringement in regards to Chapman’s song, “Baby Can I Hold You.”

Per federal court documents obtained by Page Six on Friday, Chapman acknowledged the offer on December 30 and her acceptance was entered into the court system on Thursday.

To note, Minaj didn’t release the track in question on her album, “Queen,” but she did allegedly leak it to DJ Funkmaster Flex, which led to its circulation online.

Mr. Trump got a lot on his plate right now but apparently, he has been considering pardoning several people before he leaves office including Lil Wayne and Kodak Black.

According to NME citing Bloomberg, both rappers appear on the list of individuals Trump may announce the pardoning of on January 19 – which will be his last full day in office.

As it was previously reported, Wayne pled guilty to a federal firearms charge last month relating to a 2019 incident, in which he was arrested for illegal possession of a handgun during a flight on his jet from California to Florida. He is expected to appear in court on January 28 and faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. Now, Trump pardoning Wayne doesn’t seem unrealistic since the two seem to be pretty good friends. The rap star met with Trump back in October of last year to endorse him, ahead of the big presidential election. “Just had a great meeting with [Trump] besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done,” he said over a picture with the President.

As for Kodak Black, he has been pleading with the President to help him get out of jail. He was sentenced to 46 months in prison on federal weapons charges. He’s admitted to lying on background-check forms while buying multiple firearms. The rappers are among a longer list of potential pardons, including family members, senior White House officials, and possibly even himself!

While the real reason behind their potential divorce has yet to be confirmed, the news site is now revealing that Kanye West’s presidential run was ‘the final straw’ for the reality star. A source explains that his bizarre presidential campaign made Kim realize that she “needed to end the marriage for the sake of her kids and her own sanity.” If you can recall during that time, Kanye kicked off with an insane speech in July last year during which he wrongly claimed Harriet Tubman “never actually freed the slaves.” He also revealed that he and his wife thought about aborting their firstborn child. That same month, he also called momager Kris Jenner “Kris Jong-Un” on Twitter and claimed that the famous family was trying to force him into psychiatric treatment.

The first source said, “Kim was really supportive of Kanye during his struggle with his mental health. FBI Seeking The Public’s Help To Identify D.C. Rioters

Following the violent events that unfolded at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday afternoon by Trump supporters, the FBI is now seeking out the public’s help to identify those who were “actively instigating violence” in Washington, D.C.

As a result of yesterday’s incident, four people died amid the riots and protests that occurred as Congress debated the 2020 presidential election Electoral Vote Certification — one of which was shot by Capitol Police. Meanwhile, a total of fifty-two people were arrested, including 26 on Capitol Grounds.

The FBI is now accepting tips and digital media that show rioting and violence inside the Capitol Building and the surrounding area.

“If you have witnessed unlawful violent actions, we urge you to submit any information, photos, or videos that could be relevant at fbi.gov/USCapitol,” the FBI said, adding, “Our goal is to preserve the public’s constitutional right to protest by protecting everyone from violence and other criminal activity.”

BREAKING: Trump Pledges ‘Orderly Transition’ of Power After Congress Certifies Joe Biden’s Win

On Wednesday, President Trump failed to show true leadership as he allowed his supporters to storm through the U.S. Capitol and cause chaos, delaying the counting of the electoral votes cast in the 2020 presidential election, as lawyers were forced to evacuate.

Motivated by the president, the rioters stormed the Capitol and were photographed scaling the building’s walls, breaking windows, roaming through the building, looting and vandalizing lawmaker’s offices. Rioters also ripped an American flag off of a flagpole outside the Capitol building and replaced it with a Trump flag. Trump took hours to finally address the situation saying, “we love you, you’re very special” and doubling down on the baseless claims that the election was “stolen from us” before adding “we have to have peace, so go home.”

Despite all of that, the show still went on as congress later confirmed Biden and Harris’ presidential victory Wednesday night. In a statement released overnight, Trump addressed the American people, finally agreeing to a transition of power, but while still disagreeing “with the outcome of the election.”

“Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on January 20th,” Trump said after Congress certified his defeat, according to CNN. “I have always said we would continue our fight to ensure that only legal votes were counted. While this represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history, it’s only the beginning of our fight to Make America Great Again.”

Attempted Burglary At Dr. Dre’s Home While He Remains Hospitalized Following Brain Aneurysm

Late Tuesday night while Dr. Dre was in the hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm, the producer’s Los Angeles home was apparently the target of a burglary ring, Fox LA and TMZ reports.

Sources tell the news site that 4 men were spotted on Dre’s Pacific Palisades property Wednesday at around 2 AM. Security spotted them as they were casing the house. Before they could get to the main structure, security confronted them and quickly called police. During a surveillance operation in Brentwood, officers spotted an SUV believed to be involved, and after a short chase the suspects were apprehended. All four were taken into custody.

Law enforcement believes the men saw the breaking news story about Dre being in the hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm and saw a window of opportunity. Inside the suspects’ vehicle, investigators say they found a backpack full of burglary tools, saws and crowbars.

Dr. Dre has not released a public statement on this latest incident. However, he said Tuesday he was “doing great and getting excellent care” at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

The 2021 Grammy Awards show was set to take place on January 31st. However, according to a new report by Rolling Stone, the ceremony is being postponed due to concerns over the spread of Covid-19.

While organizers have not confirmed a new date just yet, sources tell the news site that they are aiming to hold the event sometime in March. The postponement news comes as California climed to 2.5 million coronavirus cases. According to the Los Angeles Times, there have been more than 27,000 deaths in the state due to the pandemic.

The awards show — set to be hosted by The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah at the Staples Center in Los Angeles — was only going to have presenters and performers set to hit the stage in person. Like most award shows last year, it was going to be a limited affair, with many other celebrities accepting from home or performing remotely rather than the typical venue.

All eyes on Georgia: If Democrats Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock beat incumbent Republican Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue in today’s Georgia runoff elections, then “$2,000 checks will go out the door,” this is according to President-Elect Joe Biden.

Biden made this statement during a campaign event for Ossoff and Warnock in Atlanta. “One state can chart the course—not just for the next four years, but for the next generation,” Biden said in a Monday evening speech in Atlanta. “By electing Jon and the Reverend you can make an immediate difference in your own lives, the lives of people all across this country because their election will put an end to the block in Washington on that $2,000 stimulus check, that money that will go out the door immediately to people who are in real trouble.”

Biden, who is due to take office on January 20, argued during his final pitch that if Georgians let Sen. David Perdue or Sen. Kelly Loeffler win, the two Republican incumbents, “those checks will never get there, ” Business Insider quotes. As we previously reported, direct payments of $2,000 was backed by President Donald Trump, but have been blocked four times by the Republican-controlled Senate, with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell calling them “socialism for the rich.”

Meanwhile, VP- Elect Kamala Harris shared some words this morning to encourage Georgians to get out and vote. She reminded folks on Twitter that “The late great John Lewis shed his blood on the Edmund Pettus Bridge for our right to vote. The forces against him were powerful, but he knew the capacity of what our country could be was a fight worth having. Georgia, mask up today and march on to the ballot box in his honor.”

Rapper Young Thug has been making many headlines over his recent comments he made on Gillie Da Kid’s Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast, where he claimed he has more stadium-hits than Jay-Z.

The ladies of “ Cocktails With Queens” on Fox Soul decided to weigh in on the topic and also to give their honest thoughts on the rap star. Host Claudia Jordan asked Vivica A. Fox is she actually finds him attractive. The actress answered and compared him to a roach but also said she finds him to be “sexy.”

In the docs he filed, the entertainer denies leaving them out in the cold. In addition to that, he admits to having major issues with Samantha’s demand for $20,000 per month in child support. He calls that number “unreasonably high,” the news site notes.

She went on to explain that she wasn’t trying to throw shade: “You know what I mean? He’s got rockstar quality. He would be a great animation character, ” she said to her co-hosts.

Fox is known for saying how she feels and giving her honest opinion so this didn’t come as a shock to fans. However, what shocked some viewers was some of the hosts struggling to name a Young Thug especially after the rapper claimed that everyone knew all of his hits.

Candace Owens is making headlines once again for her controversial remarks. In her latest comments, she claimed that “Black” categories on Netflix and food delivery service Uber Eats — which highlights black-owned businesses — are nothing more than “segregation.”

Owens said on Twitter: “Netflix now has a category for ‘black cinema.’ Uber Eats now has a category for ‘black restaurants.’ The Left has reintroduced segregation back into American society under the guise of progressivism — they used #BLM propaganda to anger black people to the point of blindness,” The New York Post quotes.

The 31-year-old went on to say that Democrats are rebranding “segregation” as “black empowerment,” and said that it wouldn’t stop there. “Keep believing evil white conservatives want to bring harm to you while the actual evil white racist progressives continue to destroy your life.” Now, despite her tweets, social media users were quick to remind Miss Owens of the real purpose of companies highlighting Black content, Black creators and Black-owned businesses.

Netflix now has a category for “black cinema”.
Uber Eats now has a category for “black restaurants”.

As it was previously reported, Samantha Lee Gibson filed for divorce from her husband Tyrese Gibson after nearly four years of marriage. A few days ago, the two confirmed the news and said that it was a “painful and significant” decision to go their separate ways.

While the two didn’t share the exact reason for their big split, TMZ reports that in the September petition, Samantha alleges Tyrese had, just a few weeks earlier, cut her off financially, and locked her and their 2-year-old daughter, Soraya, out of the family’s Georgia home. However, Tyrese is calling BS, according to TMZ.

In the docs he filed, the entertainer denies kicking them out. In addition to that, he admits to having major issues with Samantha’s demand for $20,000 per month in child support. He calls that number “unreasonably high,” the news site notes.

As for the reason for their split, Tyrese says when he flew home from a movie set in late August, Samantha confronted him which turned into a 3-hour long conversation where she reportedly threatened to call cops. Tyrese says he left the house to avoid a bigger problem and because he didn’t want police to get involved due to “multiple public incidents involving police brutality and racially motivated killings of unarmed African American people,” TMZ notes.

Now, despite all of that, it looks like the two were somewhat able to get past that situation and remain cordial because just last week, Samantha posted a special birthday message to Tyrese who she labeled a good Dad and has absolutely “no regrets.”

Last week it was reported by OK Magazine that singer Justin Bieber had been studying to become a minister — hoping to help lead Hillsong after the firing of his preacher pal Carl Lentz. The source told the news site, “Justin doesn’t plan to give up his music career, but he feels there’s a bigger calling out there for him. He wants to be a full-fledged minister next year,” the source insisted of the 26-year-old “Holy” singer.

The source also added that Justin made the move because he “wants to be better for his family and is dedicated to doing the work.” “His family is supporting him and hopes their privacy will be respected on this journey.”

Now as believable as that may have sound, the Biebs himself is now speaking out to deny these reports and to set the record straight. The entertainer took to his Instagram Story this Monday to make it clear that he is not studying to become a minister “or even close to that.” “HAVE NO DESIRE FOR THAT, THIS IS FAKE NEWS,” he said over a Page Six article. He went on to explain:

Nancy Pelosi Re-Elected As Speaker Of The House of Representatives

On Sunday, Democrats returned Representative Nancy Pelosi of California to the House speakership for what may be her final term.

This marks Pelosi’s fourth term as House Speaker and the California lawmaker has indicated it will likely be her last, Politico reports. According to the news site, the 80-year-old was narrowly re-elected by a 216-209 vote over House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, which was mostly cast along party lines.

After she was named the chamber’s leader once again, Pelosi said: “It gives me great pride to serve as speaker of the most diverse House in American history, with a record-shattering 122 women.” As People Magazine notes, Pelosi is the only woman to lead the House.

“She is one of the few, clear leaders who can provide cohesion and leadership for the Democratic majority,” said Connolly. “I think she goes into this in a strong position, but clearly cognizant of challenges she faces in terms of numbers and the uncertainty of coronavirus.”

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo Says No Vaccine For Him Until It’s Available For All Races And Income Groups

On Sunday, Governor Andrew Cuomo delivered a message from Abyssinian Baptist Church in New York City. While speaking, he said he will not take the vaccine until it is available for his group in Black, Hispanic, and poor communities around the state.

“COVID exposed many existing injustices in our society,” the 63-year-old governor told the congregation of Harlem’s historic Abyssinian Baptist Church in a pre-recorded address. “COVID showed that racism is a public health crisis also,” he said, noting it “killed black people in this country at two times the rate of white people,” with testing also “more available in richer, whiter communities,” The New York post notes.

He added, “This can’t happen again, and it can’t happen with this vaccine.” Cuomo also noted that he is “not a typical politician,” and that he is “committed to social and racial justice in the distribution of this vaccine.” He then went on to explain, “And that’s why I say to you today, I want to take the vaccine … But I will not take the vaccine until the vaccine is available for my [age] group in black, Hispanic, and poor communities around the state.”

Meanwhile, Mayor Bill de Blasio set a big goal of vaccinating 1 million New York City residents against COVID-19 in January.

Massachusetts Cop Buys Dinner For Family Caught Stealing Groceries Instead Of Arresting Them

A Massachusetts cop is currently being praised for helping a struggling family during the holidays.

Massachusetts officer Matt Lima responded to a report of shoplifting at a Stop & Shop, where two women with two young children were accused of putting groceries into bags at a self-checkout kiosk without scanning them. They were caught and detained by Loss and Prevention. However, upon arrival, Lima said he pulled one of the adults to the side while the children, who had no idea what was going on, were occupied by store employees.

The women explained to him that they had fallen on hard times and were just trying to provide a Christmas dinner for the children. Lima said when he heard two kids had been with the women, it didn’t sit right with him. He added that he was reminded of his own children. After speaking to the Stop and Shop Asset Protection associate and checked the receipt for the items they did plan to pay for, he then used his own money to buy $250 in grocery gift cards. Instead of arresting and charging them, Lima, who firmly believes in following the law, let them go. The store just issued the two women a “no trespass” order.

“Obviously, this family was in need and I can’t imagine having to make the decision to go to Stop and Shop and just only pay for what I can afford — or do I go there and try to take things for Christmas dinner for the kids?” said Lima. “They were very thankful, they were kind of shocked. I’m sure a lot of people in that same situation would be thinking that there was going to be a different outcome, and maybe they would be arrested or have to go to court,” NBC affiliate WJAR notes.

Somerset Police Chief George McNeil also praised the officer in a statement saying, “This incident is a true testament of Officer Lima’s great character and decision making.”

Celina Powell Arrested For Driving With A Suspended License

Welp, 2021 is off to a rough for Celina Powell. The Instagram model was arrested late Thursday night for allegedly driving with a suspended license in Miami Florida.

According to records, her bond was set at $1500 and so far it has been submitted. While no further details were shared, there is a video circulating online appearing to show the moment Powell was taken into custody.

Somehow, she uploaded an IG story and captioned it “Happy New Year.” In another IG video, she sits in back of the cop car and says “Pray for me.”

While this may seem a little shocking to fans, especially because it happened on New Years Eve, this is not the first time Powell has had a run-in with the law. She was also arrested back in 2018. According to TMZ, at the time, she had upwards of $61,000 worth of outstanding bonds in her name, in and around the Aurora, Colorado area — ranging from shoplifting and evading police to traffic violations.

Love to see it! After a super tough year for Ne-Yo and Crystal Smith, the couple has managed to make things work and secure their love!

As we previously reported, back in February of 2020, Ne-Yo confirmed he was divorcing his wife. Despite that, the “Miss Independent” hitmaker said at the time: “I’m never gonna talk bad about her. I’m not that person. There’s nothing bad to say about her. She’s a fantastic woman. She’s the mother of my children and she’s always gonna be that and I will always respect her.” Clearly, he didn’t want to let his good wife go because, in May, the two were able to reconcile.

On Thursday, Ne-Yo wanted to let his wife know just how much she meant to him by asking her to marry him, AGAIN! During an NYE dinner with close friends, Ne-Yo took a moment to make a special toast to Smith. He said to her: “I love you,” before asking her, “We have decided that this is our forever, yes?” After Smith seemingly confirms, Ne-Yo then says, “I need you to know there is nobody else on the face of the planet I would rather be with, and with that being said,” before then pulling out an engagement ring.

A speechless Smith becomes emotional but accept his proposal. The crowd around the man can be heard cheering and congratulating the couple. Ne-Yo is father to sons Roman Alexander-Raj, 2, and Shaffer Chimere Jr., 4, whom he shares with Renay, and son Mason Evan, 8½, and daughter Madilyn Grace, 9½, from a previous relationship.

As we previously reported earlier this week, famed fashion designer Alexander Wang was accused of sexual assault and spiking drinks by multiple alleged victims. He’s now speaking out to deny these heavy allegations against him!

In response to the big claims, Wang called them “grotesquely false” in a statement to PEOPLE Magazine: “Over the last few days, I have been on the receiving end of baseless and grotesquely false accusations. These claims have been wrongfully amplified by social media accounts infamous for posting defamatory material from undisclosed and/or anonymous sources with zero evidence or any fact-checking whatsoever,” Wang said.

He added, “Seeing these lies about me being perpetuated as truths has been infuriating,” Wang continued. “I have never engaged in the atrocious behavior described and would never conduct myself in the manner that’s been alleged. I intend to get to the bottom of this and hold accountable whoever is responsible for originating these claims and viciously spreading them online.

The major claims came to light after model and graphic designer Owen Mooney took to TikTok to share his alleged encounter with Wang in 2017, describing how he “froze” when he alleged that Wang groped his crotch during a concert in New York City. On Wednesday, another young man told DailyMail.com that Wang was “aggressive” and performed sex acts on him back in August while he was in a blacked out state, in a packed club and later that night in an Uber.

Rapper Lil TJay Arrested For Gun & Weed Possession

According to TMZ, rapper Lil TJay, was busted Wednesday afternoon in Brooklyn and booked for criminal possession of a weapon, marijuana possession, and grand larceny.

The news site reports that Tjay was in a vehicle with four others when cops pulled them over for switching lanes without signaling. From there, an officer reportedly smelled weed in the car, which resulted in a search and the discovery of four loaded handguns and a big amount of marijuana.

Sources say neither the rapper nor anyone in the vehicle took ownership of the weapons or the weed, so they were all hit with possession charges. As of right now, it’s unclear why they’re also facing the grand larceny charge.

His arrest comes this arrest comes after his encounter with NYPD last weekend. Video online shows the 19-year-old’s music video shoot was swarmed by cops, who claimed people nearby saw waving guns, and though his vehicle was searched … cops found nothing, and he was released.

“Mentally i prepared myself when i helped my mother with her diagnosis. From the time my son was little, i had him always using his mind and understand that he could heal his body. He was 7 when i was diagnosed, and he took his hand and put it on my chest and tried to heal me. It was beautiful, he didn’t go right into fear, the most debilitating thing to have. He asked me if i was going to die, but i said yeah one die, but we’ve got time,” she says.

Social media users have been accusing popular reality star Tiffany Pollard of transphobia after a clip of the dating show “One Mo’ Chance” went viral.

Pollard, also known as “New York,” was a guest on the series to help Kamal Chance Givens – who previously appeared on her show “I Love New York” – find the right woman. In the clip, Pollard asks Tiffany Walker — one of the girls competing for Chance’s love: “You aren’t very forthcoming with me. You didn’t shed any light on the questions that I had, and I feel like you have a situation. I do believe that you are a man.”

Walker, who is not transgender, said: “I know I’m not.” Pollard continued: “Does it bother you when I tell you that I feel like you’re a man? That you have genitalia, like penis and balls and sweaty d***? Dr. Drew Reveals COVID-19 Diagnosis Months After Apologizing For Downplaying Coronavirus

Celebrity doctor Drew Pinsky recently took to Instagram to share that he has tested positive for COVID-19. According to his post, Pinsky, known as “Dr. Drew,” is “under surveillance” as he continues to fight the virus.

Dr. Drew’s wife, Susan Pinsky, provided the update on his behalf confirming he contracted the virus. She along with her children tested negative. In the post, Susan can be seen wearing a mask while holding bottles of Hydralyte “for COVID-19.” The post mentioned Dr. Drew’s fever had decreased and thanked the doctors involved for their “superior care and advice.”

Dr. Drew followed up on his conditions in an additional Instagram post thanking those who checked in on him: “COVID’s no fun. I don’t recommend it,” Dr. Drew said. “I’m sort of through the viral phase, which is when the virus is reproducing and took a lot of good medications to attack [the virus] early… Man, am I glad to get it now and not earlier in the course. I’m waiting for an antibody infusion but if this thing resolves before I get the infusion, so much the better…”

Pinsky’s diagnosis comes months after he apologized for downplaying the severity of the virus. He once called the pandemic “press induced panic.”

Not too long ago we shared the upsetting clip of an innocent Black man being detained by cops at a Virginia mall. VA Beach PD grabbed the wrong guy in what seems to be a clear case of racial profiling.

The victim, Jamar Mackey, told TMZ earlier this month he and his fiancée were pissed not only for the humiliation and alleged profiling but because the officers were not wearing masks! Sadly, Jamar is now revealing that he has come down with COVID-19 following the incident and he’s blaming it all on the officer!

Jamar and Shantel Covil tell the news site that they’ve been taking this pandemic and quarantine very seriously because he owns a sanitizing business while she has a home healthcare business. They say they both test frequently, and got his positive test result on Dec. — 22 just 3 days after the incident — so he’s convinced that was the source of his infection. Although Shantel has tested negative, Jamar says they’re most concerned about their children, including their newborn, contracting the virus.

The couple also tells TMZ that they want VBPD to make some big changes, including firing the maskless officer who handcuffed Jamar!

Diddy Provides COVID-19 Relief — Hands Out Money And Gift Bags In Miami!

While many Americans are waiting on the second stimulus check, Diddy decided to provide some COVID relief for struggling families in Miami.

On Tuesday, the business mogul and entertainer announced that he will be “paying people’s rent, giving out cards and essential items” for those in need. The multi-millionaire was filmed on the streets of Miami in the Overtown neighborhood with his Sean Combs Foundation crew as he handed out $50 bills to a large crowd. Members of his crew were also gifting people with $20 bills to parents and their kids.

The star wore a clear face shield and black gloves as he moved through the crowd and greeted fans and families with his children. In addition to that, the group also handed out $50 Publix supermarket gift cards and bags containing hygiene products. As the Hollywood reporter notes, Diddy’s charitable foundation is also working with music festival and nightlife organizer Michael Gardner along with the local group Teens Exercising Extraordinary Success to provide rental assistance for 175 families.

Diddy was being praised on social media for his great gesture. This also comes as he made the great move to cancel his big NYE bash to protect his family and friends as coronavirus cases continue to spike around the country.

Looks like Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are trying to end 2020 on a positive note. According to Page Six, the former couple has come to a custody agreement regarding their 4-year-old daughter, Dream.

The two initially came to a joint custody agreement back in 2017 that neither formally followed. However, the exes finally came to a new agreement that gives both Kardashian and Chyna physical custody across an alternating weekly schedule. A source with knowledge of their case tells the news site that the former couple also agreed to share equal time over holidays and vacations.

In addition to that, both parents agreed to be drug- and alcohol-free while Dream is in their care. This comes after Kardashian accused the model and former reality star of using illicit substances while taking care of the little girl. As many know, earlier this year, Kardashian requested sole custody of Dream, claiming Chyna was a risk to their daughter and wanted her to be tested for drugs and alcohol prior to seeing Dream. However, Chyna denied those allegations, and his request was ultimately denied.

It was also said Chyna dismissed all of her claims against Kardashian prior to coming to this new custody agreement. Though, her lawsuit against the rest of his family over the cancellation of “Rob & Chyna,” is still ongoing, Page Six reports.

This Tuesday morning, Vice President-elect Kamala Harris received her first dose of the Moderna coronavirus vaccine in D.C. Her husband, Doug Emhoff, also received the vaccination today.

“That was easy,” Harris said after getting her shot. “I barely felt it.” Harris’ vaccination came a little over a week after President-elect Joe Biden received his first coronavirus vaccination on live television. He received a dose of the Pfizer vaccine at a hospital not far from his Delaware home. The president-elect and vice president-elect join a growing list of elected officials who received the vaccine this month, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

After being administered the vaccine in her left arm, Harris said: “I want to encourage everyone to get the vaccine. It is relatively painless. It happens really quickly. It is safe.”

She added, “It’s literally about saving lives,” Harris said. “I trust the scientists. And it is the scientists who created and approved this vaccine. So I urge everyone, when it is your turn, get vaccinated.”

Although Vice President Mike Pence was the first major public figure from Trump’s administration to get vaccinated, it has been unclear if Donald Trump will also do so.

As we previously reported, “Full House” star Lori Loughlin was released from prison earlier this Monday morning after serving most of her two-month sentence for the college admissions bribery scandal.

She began serving her sentence on October 30 at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California, and got out two days earlier. Loughlin pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge in May and admitted to paying the scheme’s mastermind $500,000 to get her two daughters into the University of Southern California under false pretenses. Her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, also pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge as part of a plea deal. He reported to the Federal Correctional Complex in Lompoc, California, on November 19 to serve a five-month sentence.

While most people are not shocked about her early release or short sentence, many social media are weighing in on her case since she‘s now trending. The news has also sparked a conversation about White Privilege, and beloved actress Janet Hubert from “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” is sharing her thoughts. The 64-year-old took to Twitter and said: “So when white actresses commit crimes they get new shows, pilots, etc. Lori Loughlin …I assume, will get an Emmy for her time in prison. Hmmmm…oh to be white, blond, and privileged! No thanks I would rather be bold, black, and dignified! #onlyinamerikkka”

As part of her plea deal, she’ll be on 2 years of supervised release and also has to perform 250 hours of community service.

“Out Of Bounds” Movie Gives A Voice To Teens Living Inner-City Lives

“Out Of Bounds” Is the latest indie film that is setting the bar for some other major studio motion pictures.

The film is based on Travis Elliot, a star high school basketball player from Memphis, Tennessee who must fight to save his older brother, but is torn between playing the sport that he loves or living a life of crime.

The concept of the film is deeper than entertainment, but an accurate insight into the battle many young minority teens face everyday. Chasing their dreams or being forced to save and look after their families by any means necessary. Travis’ story triggers an emotional response from any viewer, whether you were once that kid or want to do something to help, you won’t forget once the movie is over that many are running from a similar harsh reality to Travis’.

Director SD Green spoke to us about the film and its background,

“Out of Bounds was born a few years ago from a love of storytelling and an appreciation for frequently untold stories.

“With its rich history and diversity, I felt strongly about filming the majority of scenes in Memphis, Tennessee, and recognized the city as a character of its own. Actress Lori Loughlin Released From Prison After Serving Nearly 2 Months In College Admissions Scandal

Welp, actress Lori Loughlin is out of the slammer after serving her nearly 2-month sentence for her role in the big college admissions scandal.

As we reported, Lori surrendered to authorities at FCI Dublin in California on Halloween Eve — 3 weeks before her November 19 deadline. According to the Bureau of Prisons website, Loughlin’s sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California ends December 28.

As part of her deal, Lori agreed back in May to plead guilty to 1 count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud. Lori along with her famous husband Mossimo was accused of paying $500k in bribes to get their daughters into USC and faking a photo that made it look like the girls were college rowers. She’ll be on 2 years of supervised release and also has to perform 250 hours of community service.

Meanwhile, Mossimo was sentenced to 5 months and is still in prison.

Jessie J Opens Up About Ménière’s disease — Reveals She Spent Christmas Eve In Hospital Unable To Hear Or Walk

Jessie J is opening up about her recent health battle, revealing she was forced to spend Christmas Eve in the hospital after being struck down with Meniere’s disease.

The 32-year-old singer disclosed her illness on a recent Instagram Live in which she revealed that she struggled to hear, sing, or even walk. As the Daily News notes, Ménière’s disease is an ear condition that can cause sudden attacks of dizzy spells vertigo, and loss of hearing.

She explained to fans, “I woke up and felt like I was completely deaf in my right ear, couldn’t walk in a straight line. Basically, I got told I had Meniere’s syndrome. I know that a lot of people suffer from it and I’ve actually had a lot of people reach out to me and give me great advice, so I’ve just been laying low in silence.” She went on to say, “Now’s the first time I’ve been able to sing and bear it. I just miss singing so much and being around anyone.” The star went on: “It could be way worse, it is what it is. I’m super-grateful for my health. It just threw me off.”

“On Christmas Eve I was in the ear hospital going, ‘What is going on?’. But I’m glad I went early and they worked out what it was real quick and I got put on the right medicine so I feel a lot better today. I haven’t sung for so long and when I sing loud, it sounds like there’s someone trying to run out of my ear,” she added.

UPDATE: Nashville Names “Hero” Cops Who Cleared Area Before Christmas Bombing

Several cops are being praised for clearing out an area in downtown Nashville before the big explosion that authorities said was “intentional.”

As we previously reported, six cops were able to evacuate buildings in downtown Nashville before an RV exploded. Nashville Mayor John Cooper praised the officers for their quick thinking and putting themselves in danger to save lives on Christmas morning. “They are heroes. And I am grateful for them and all of Nashville’s first responders,” Cooper said, according to CNN.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department publicly identified those officers, who range from a rookie to an 11-year veteran as: Officer Brenna Hosey, a 4-year veteran; Officer James Luellen, with the department for 3 years; Officer Michael Sipos, a rookie with 16 months on the job; Officer Amanda Topping, with the department for 21 months; Officer James Wells, also with the department for 21 months; and Sergeant Timothy Miller, an 11-year veteran, the New York Post notes. In addition to this, CBS News is reporting that a “person or persons” of interest has been identified in the bombing in downtown Nashville.

According to Kiro7, authorities identified Anthony Quinn Warner, 63, as a person of interest and were searching a home associated with him. No further details were shared.

After getting out of the slammer, Tekashi 6ix9ine said he was going to work on being a better person and a better dad to his 5-year-old daughter, Saraiyah. However, it looks like he couldn’t stick to his word.

According to TMZ, Tekashi 6ix9ine spent Christmas without his daughter once again and his baby mama says it was all his fault! While speaking with the news outlet, Sara says she chose not to allow Tekashi to see their child this Christmas because he’s been completely out of the picture, despite promising to get back in Saraiyah’s life.

She said 6ix9ine told her back in August he wanted to create a genuine relationship with Saraiyah and was going to be more present in her life and involved. Sara even claims Tekashi told her he would support her financially and help with their daughter’s expenses. In addition to that, Sara says she gave him an “open door” policy where he could come see Saraiyah whenever and wherever he wanted. But even with all of that, Tekashi sadly did not fall through.

Sara notes that early September was the last time Tekashi sent any money or saw his daughter. He missed her 5th birthday back in October, and Sara says he didn’t send a present or even place a phone call. She finds his actions to be offensive. But what’s even more sad is that Sara says her daughter wasn’t bothered by 6ix9ine’s absence on her birthday. She says her daughter recently began referring to Tekashi as a “friend,” even though the girl knows he’s the father.

Meanwhile, Tekashi’s attorney, Lance Lazzaro, tells TMZ 69 has been trying to be part of his daughter’s life, but Sara is not letting that happen.

UPDATE: RV That Blew Up In Nashville Played Audio Warning Explosion Was Coming

As we previously reported, a large explosion was reported in downtown Nashville earlier this Christmas morning.

Police initially responded to reports of shots fired near Second Avenue and Commerce Street before 6 a.m., when they saw a suspicious vehicle outside a nearby AT&T building. Metro police spokesperson Don Aaron said officers alerted the department’s bomb squad, which was en route when a “significant explosion” happened about thirty minutes later. The force of the explosion knocked an officer to the ground. At the time three people were sent to the hospital with injuries.

According to the latest update by the city’s police chief revealed that the RV that blew up in Nashville on Friday morning was reportedly playing a recording that warned it was going to explode. The recording said “a potential bomb would detonate within 15 minutes,” Metro Nashville Police Chief John Drake said during an afternoon news conference. Meanwhile, an unconfirmed YouTube video clip titled “Nashville Explosion” appears to contain audio of the recording, with a female voice urging people to flee just before the blast. “All buildings in this area must be evacuated now. All buildings in this area must be evacuated now,” the voice says. The video has been shared by multiple news outlets including TMZ.

Although authorities say they believe the blast was intentionally set, they have not been more specific nor did they suggest whether or not this was an act of terrorism — domestic or otherwise. An investigation is still underway.

Earlier today on this Christmas morning, a large explosion was reported in downtown Nashville.

“Acting Attorney General Jeff Rosen was briefed on the Nashville incident early this morning and directed that all DOJ resources be made available to assist in the investigation.”

Earlier this month, Dr. Susan posted a video to Facebook to share that she believed she was not receiving proper medical care because she was Black. Moore, an Indianapolis physician was initially being treated for COVID-19 at Indiana University Hospital North.

“I don’t trust this hospital,” Dr. Susan Moore said from her hospital bed in Indiana with an oxygen tube hooked up to her nose. “That is not how you treat patients.” Moore tested positive for the coronavirus on November 29 and said she faced obstacles in getting treatment from White doctors and nurses in the hospital, including begging for the antiviral drug Remdesivir, waiting hours for pain medication, and demanding a CT scan of her chest to prove her pain was real. It eventually detected pulmonary infiltrates and inflamed lymph nodes, she said, but she continued to wait hours for pain medication. “All I know is that I am in intense pain,” Moore said in the heartbreaking video, adding that the doctor downplayed her pain. “[The doctor] made me feel like I was a drug addict, and he knew I was a physician.”

She said she spoke to a patient advocate, who she says told her nothing could be done. She then asked to be transferred to a different hospital but was told that she should just go home. “This is how Black people get killed,” Moore said. “When you send them home and they don’t know how to fight for themselves,” CBS quotes. After being sent home, just less than 12 hours later, she caught a fever and her blood pressure plummeted, so she returned to the hospital, according to her Facebook updates. “Those people were trying to kill me. Clearly, everyone has to agree they discharge me way too soon,” she wrote. “They are now treating me for a bacterial pneumonia as well as Covid pneumonia.” Sadly, Moore died this week after being admitted to another hospital.
She was 52-years-old.

A rep for Indiana University Health told TMZ that the hospital could not comment on individual patients or care because of privacy law. It adds, “As an organization committed to equity and reducing racial disparities in healthcare, we take accusations of discrimination very seriously and investigate every allegation.” The rep continued, “Treatment options are often agreed upon and reviewed by medical experts from a variety of specialties, and we stand by the commitment and expertise of our caregivers and the quality of care delivered to our patients every day.”

UPDATE: House Republicans Have Rejected A Measure That Would Increase Direct Payments To Americans To $2,000

Well, an effort by House Democrats to pass a bill to provide $2,000 stimulus checks has been rejected.

As we previously reported, the Democrats’ pushed to pass the bill after President Trump disapproved of the initial $2.3 trillion must-pass legislation, complaining that the $600 direct payments to Americans included in the bill were “too small.” Instead, Trump shockingly called for the amount to be raised to $2,000 – setting the scene for a potential government shutdown.

According to The Hill, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) sought to pass a measure to boost the check size to $2,000 during the Christmas Eve session of the House by unanimous consent but a number of Republicans in Congress oppose direct payments of that amount. Despite this, Thursday’s effort on the $2,000 direct payments from House Democrats won’t be their last. Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said in a statement that the House on Monday would hold a recorded vote on legislation to increase the size of the checks in the relief package to $2,000.

Earlier this week, a clip of the upcoming episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” started circulating online. It showed Kenya Moore questioning Porsha Williams’ activism while speaking to Kandi Burrus. “Has anyone talked to Porsha? I know she was arrested, again.” After Kandi asked why Kenya sounded so shady, Kenya replied, “‘Cause at this point… it just seems like maybe they’re just putting themselves in a position to be arrested.”

As we previously reported, Porsha was arrested twice while attending protests this year. The reality star has been very vocal about wanting justice for Breonna Taylor. While Porsha has received tons of support from fans, there has been criticism, with some even accusing her of using activism for a storyline for the show! Activist Tamika D. Mallory recently spoke out to defend Porsha who has been on the frontlines with her, and to set the record straight. She told Kenya: “It seems you need an education on CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE. Google and/or history classes are your friends.” In a lengthy statement on Instagram, Porsha also responded to Kenya’s comments from the upcoming episode.

Of course, Kenya didn’t waste any time to make a post of her own to respond to both Tamika and Porsha. Here’s what she had to say:

COVID-19 Is Now On Every Continent As Antarctica Records Its First Outbreak!

According to CNN, Antarctica has recorded its first cases of Covid-19. So far, a total of 36 people tested positive on a research base, according to a statement released by the Chilean Army.

General Bernardo O’Higgins Riquelme Base confirmed this week that 26 army personnel and 10 civilians working on the base tested positive for the illness. It was said that the infected individuals have been evacuated to the city of Punta Arenas in Southern Chile and a new crew has replaced them at the station.

The 36 individuals are reported to be in good condition and under isolation while there. The news means that Covid cases have now been recorded on all seven continents. Antarctica had been free from the virus for more than nine months.

According to The New York Times, there have been more than 78.1 million cases of the coronavirus worldwide and at least 1.7 million deaths as of Wednesday.

Katy Perry and actor Zooey Deschanel recently hopped on Instagram Live to celebrate Zooey’s appearance in Katy’s new music video, “Not the End of the World,” and the singer ended up making a confession about her life before the fame!

While speaking with Zooey, Katy said: “I have to admit something, Zooey,” Katy began. “When I came to L.A., I was pretty much a nobody, and you were just getting so huge at that time. It was like Zooey Deschanel ran the world…In that moment, I was so complimented to look like you.”

She went on to say,
“But I have to admit something to you on a Live: That when I first got to L.A., I went to the club a LOT,” she continued. “And I wanted to get into the club, and I had no money, I had no clout, I had nothing, and sometimes I would pose as you to get into the club.” Although it was a hilarious revelation, Zooey didn’t seem to be shocked about Katy’s little “secret” since it was something she knew was happening at the time. Zooey explained:

“People would be like, ‘I saw you!'” the New Girl actor recalled, laughing. “But I’m such a goody-two-shoes, and people kept going, ‘I saw you out! I made eye contact with you!’ And I was like, ‘No!’ And then everybody kept telling me about this girl, Katy, Katy, who looks just like you, and I’m like, ‘Who is this Katy?'”

During their conversation, the superstar admitted that she was a “wild child” at the age of 17-23 but was ultimately relieved to hear that Zooey wasn’t mad and actually took it as a compliment.

Passengers Take Dog & Escape Down Emergency Slide Of Moving Delta Plane

Two paranoid passengers deployed the emergency slide of a moving Delta plane and escaped down with their dog after one of them began suffering from PTSD.

Antonio Murdock, 31, and Brianna Greco, 23, of Florida, were arrested for opening the cabin door and activating the slide on Delta Flight 462 from La Guardia Airport.

Apparently, during the flight the couple got up multiple times and changed seats before Murdock told a flight attendant that he couldn’t sit down because it was triggering his PTSD. He then ignored the attendant’s instructions to sit down and opened the cabin door which caused the plane to come to a sudden stop. The distressed couple then fled down the emergency slide with their service dog Rain.

According to NY Daily News Murdock said that his PTSD came from his prison run on robbery charges and occurs when he is in confined spaces.

Ultimately, Murdock was charged with criminal mischief in the second degree, reckless endangerment in the second degree and criminal trespass in the third degree, and Greco was charged with criminal trespass in the third degree.

The traumatized dog, Rain, was given to Animal Care and Control and will be returned to the owner.
