Young Thug Threatened With Lawsuit By Driver Alleging Assault
Young Thug is being threatened with a lawsuit as his long-time driver, Derrick Thrasher, alleges he was a victim of assault while on the job. Thrasher, who has worked as Thug’s personal driver over the past seven to eight years, claims that the Atlanta rapper invited him to party in Los Angeles back in May, where things got heated between he and another rapper named Lil Duke.
Lawyers for Thrasher, Paul M. Aloise Jr. and Ryan P. Molaghan, say in order to avoid a brawl, he ended up leaving the party early, but ended up busting a “U” when duty called and Thugger asked him to take him home. After returning to the party to grab Thug, Thrasher claims on arrival, he was viciously assaulted and beaten.

The victim’s attorneys say he was held down, punched, kicked and had a liquor bottle smashed over his head, requiring him to have surgery. Currently, a settlement is being negotiated, but if Thug and Duke’s label 300 Entertainment can’t come to an agreement, Thrasher and his attorneys will be filing a lawsuit.
