Nick Cannon Could Reportedly Be Looking To Pay ‘Nearly $3 Million A Year In Child Support’ As He Prepares To Welcome 12th Child

Nick Cannon’s family is expanding at a rapid rate, and so will the child support costs, according to a new report. It was just a few days back when Abby De La Rosa confirmed that she was expecting her third child with the “Wild ’N Out” star, which will be Nick’s 12th offspring — an announcement she made just one week after Alyssa Scott shared that she, too, is pregnant with his baby.

Now, in a new report via The Sun, while Nick is welcoming babies left and right, given that the 42-year-old is considered a “high-income earner” in California, he could reportedly be looking to spend an eye-watering sum of $3 million in annual child support. Goldie Schon, who is a California practicing family law attorney told the publication just how costly things could end up getting for Nick, particularly as he continues to have more kids.

“When you have somebody like Nick Cannon, who’s an extremely high-income earner, the courts in California have the right to deviate from the typical child support guidelines,” she said. “If he is taking home somewhere upward of $5 million a year, you have to look at what it would take to have the children kept in the lifestyle of both parents. The lifestyle has to be the same with mom as it is with dad.”

It’s important to mention that child support costs don’t always include other necessities the child may need, including school or child care, tuition fees, and other curriculums, so there’s a possibility that Nick may even end up paying much more than the amount that’s been estimated by Goldie.

She believes that Abby, who is pregnant with baby number three, would have been making around $600k to $750k a year alone from child support, so the addition of another child will undoubtedly raise that amount, though it’s unclear by how much. Brittany Bell is said to have been making around $60,000 a month plus other expenses, while his other baby mamas are allegedly earning around $40k to $50k a month.

Again, the more children, the higher the amount in child support payments. Though Nick is undoubtedly an exceptional earner with multiple businesses, endorsements and partnerships, if he continues to have more babies down the line, one has to wonder how much he’d be paying in five years’ time if the family continues to multiply.
