As we previously reported, Floyd died after a Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin detained on suspicion of forgery. Chauvin placed his knee on Floyd’s neck and cut off his airway, leaving him unconscious. He was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Many witnesses including Donald Williams can be heard pleading with cops to get off of Floyd. However, they completely ignored their pleas. Williams recently appeared on CNN where he got emotional while speaking to anchor Chris Cuomo about Floyd’s final moments.

The four officers involved in the incident have all been fired. However, that is not enough. Many people are now calling for all the officers to be arrested and charged for the death of Floyd.

According to the latest update, prosecutors now say they had called in the FBI to help investigate the case, which could involve a federal felony civil rights violation.
