New Footage Released By Civil Rights Attorneys Debunk Police Claims That George Floyd Resisted Arrest
Earlier today we reported on the murder of George Floyd, a black man who was killed in police custody in Minneapolis. While police claimed Floyd resisted arrest, thus leading to officer Derek Chauvin kneeling on Floyd’s neck until his last breath, new footage released by civil rights attorneys debunk police claims.
Attorney Benjamin Crump posted to his Instagram new footage released by a nearby restaurant’s security cameras. On it, it shows Floyd sitting against the front of the building, with his hands cuffed behind his back. Officers begin to pick him up, escorting him toward their patrol car. The whole time, he is compliant, non-aggressive — fully cooperative.

After viewing the new footage, it begs the question, why did the four Minneapolis Police officers use excessive force against him; such force that ultimately resulted in his death? Crump notes that Floyd’s family demands answers and demands that his killers are brought to justice and held fully accountable. #Socialites, thoughts?
