Los Angeles Cannabis Dispensary Robbed Of $1 Million Worth Of Marijuana & Other Products; Owner Believes It Was An Inside Job
The owner of the shop, Toby Stein, believes he was set up and that the crime was an “inside job.” Los Angeles Police Department officials say a group of men were caught on surveillance footage, on Wednesday morning (December 28), as they broke into a dispensary called Silver Lake Caregivers Group.
The owner says, “They all just kind of filed in and we just watched them unload into two cars.”
He adds, “Like six guys just unloaded into two cars full and then they drove off, didn’t even close the trunk.”
He believes the whole thing was an inside job, claiming, “It was pretty obvious they were told where everything was at. They could’ve been on the phone with someone directing them around it seemed.”

According to police, the burglary happened around 12:30 a.m. when the suspects jumped over a fence in the alley behind the shop. As they neared the store, they pulled out a tool that they ended up using to broke into the store’s rear door.
Upon breaking in, the owner was alerted, as he’d received a notification from his security company. However, he didn’t make it to the store in time — he was just minutes behind the fleeing suspects.
Stein says that this latest robbery is just one of several they’ve had since opening in 2006. The last one prior to this one was back in 2014.
