The “Must Be Nice” singer took to his Instagram Story today (Friday, December 30), and shared the news of the pressure of critical fans getting to him.

He wrote, “Just did my first show since all this sh*t and i’m seriously considering not doing shows no more. I be too much in my head now. Every time I see a phone pointed at me, I just be thrown.. feel like I don’t love this no more.”

Now, the singer’s newest Instagram Story post arrives just about a week after he was criticized and slammed online over his vocals at a recent performance.

One fan on Twitter shared videos of the singer performing and titled their post, “I went to see Lyfe Jennings last night and when I tell you never [the f**k] again…I want my [motherf**king] money back.

After the mass hysteria on social media, involving hundreds of fans poking fun at Lyfe’s vocals, he ended up doing an interview with DJ Vlad.

In the sit-down, Vlad asks Lyfe what were his thoughts on the viral tweet and videos. He said, “I thought it was funny, you know what I’m saying? ‘Cause everybody gonna have a bad night. Plus, if I’m singing in the key of “C,” and then you pair it with a video in the key of “F Sharp,” as soon as you cut to that “F Sharp,” it’s going to sound off, regardless.”

He adds, “So, you had no kind of background for that. and then number two … I checked the name of the cat that [wrote the tweet], and it’s a whole dude. It’s not even a girl. It was a whole dude that posted it.”

Lyfe concludes, “And the crazy part about it is, that’s the part of my show where I’ll be singing to the ladies. You dig what I’m saying. I’ll be talking about sexual stuff, all kind of stuff. So this guy, this whole dude got mad … and this ain’t even your part of the show, bro. You dig? So, you out of line, you know?”
