Donald Trump has called for the U.S. Constitution to be terminated while discussing the 2020 Election in a Truth Social post.
On Saturday , the former president expressed his disdain over the 2020 Election results after internal Twitter emails showed writers from the New York Post discussing how to address a story about Hunter Biden. “Do you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION? A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution,” he wrote.
Trump also claimed “Big Tech” companies were conspiring with Democrats so they could win the election. “Our great ‘Founders’ did not want and would not condone, False & Fraudulent Elections!” he exclaimed. However, his statements were denounced by White House spokeperson Andrew Bates on Saturday.
“You cannot only love America when you win. The American Constitution is a sacrosanct document that for over 200 years has guaranteed that freedom and the rule of law prevail in our great country. The Constitution brings the American people together – regardless of party – and elected leaders swear to uphold it. It’s the ultimate monument to all of the Americans who have given their lives to defeat self-serving despots that abused their power and trampled on fundamental rights.”
With the former President calling to throw aside the constitution, not a single conservative can legitimately support him, and not a single supporter can be called a conservative. This is insane. Trump hates the constitution

Twitter react to Trump‘s statement about the Constitution
Trump supporters and opposers had different opinions about his statement. Some claim he didn’t literally call for the termination of the Constitution but simply stated he was addressing the alleged voter fraud from the 2020 Election. One of Trump’s known critics, Liz Cheney, called him an “enemy” of the Constitution over the Truth Social post.
Donald Trump believes we should terminate “all rules, regulations and articles, even those found in the Constitution” to overturn the 2020 election. That was his view on 1/6 and remains his view today. No honest person can now deny that Trump is an enemy of the Constitution.

Not a single Republican has condemned or denounced Donald Trump for demanding the “termination” of the United States Constitution.

He was talking about the Election part of the Constitution. But we see how you twisted what he said & tried to make it sound like he was talking about the whole Constitution. You always take parts instead of using the whole Context. Some ppl fall for it every time

Trump didn’t respond to the backlash but his supporters were accusing Democrats of twisting his words and taking it out of context.
