Juror In Chris Brown’s Housekeeper’s Dog Attack Trial Doesn’t Believe $13 Million Award Is Enough
According to journalist Michael Blackshire, one juror did not believe that the $13 million to the victim was enough compensation. The White older female juror said, “I actually thought there should have been more.” The juror also commented on Brown’s security guard’s testimony. She said, “I didn’t find it credible at all. Neither one of them could agree on security cameras or how may there were.”
As we previously shared, Maria sued over the December 2020 incident back in April 2021. Maria was emptying trash outside Brown’s Tarzana, California home when she claimed to have been attacked out of nowhere by Hades, the singer’s bodyguard’s Caucasian shepherd — a massive, aggressive dog breed notorious for their use as guard dogs at Russian prisons.
Maria alleged the dog ripped off “large chunks of her skin,” resulting in permanent facial disfigurement, scarring, vision loss, and nerve damage, along with emotional and psychological damage. Earlier this month, the first trial ended in a mistrial over a juror issue. In that case, Brown conceded to partial responsibility before the retrial began, now ending with him paying nearly $14 million.

Following the verdict, Patricia’s lawyer, Michael C. Murphy Jr., stated:
“After more than five years of litigating against Chris Brown, we are thrilled that we were able to get justice for our client, Patricia. We are so happy for her and her family after everything they went through on that horrible day. It was an honor to represent her.”
