#Socialites, get into this: Reality television personality and social media figure Sidney Star(born Sidney Favors) is formally petitioning a Fulton County judge for bond following her arrest on multiple serious felony charges involving a minor.
As previously reported, the former Love & Hip Hop: New York and Baddies ATL cast member was taken into custody on August 2 at an Embassy Suites hotel near Atlanta in Hapeville, Georgia. She currently faces severe accusations, including sexual battery against a child under 16, aggravated child molestation, and sodomy.
She’s currently held without bond at the Fulton County Jail, Starr’s legal team is pushing to secure her release prior to her next scheduled court date on August 25, arguing that she poses neither a danger to the community nor a flight risk.

According to statements from the Hapeville Police Department, officers were called to the hotel following reports of a sexual assault involving a juvenile. Due to the victim’s minor status, law enforcement authorities have kept specific evidentiary details under tight wrap. Maintaining her innocence from behind bars, the 35-year-old internet star released a statement pushing back strongly against the public court of opinion. Starr stated that she “unequivocally denies the allegations against her and intends to vigorously defend herself through the legal process”.
