‘Queer Eye’ star Karamo Brown confirms he is dating a celebrity as paparazzi photos surface and spark dating rumors between the former TV host and ‘Empire’ star Jussie Smollett. On Tuesday (June 30), Brown appeared on Carlos King’s ‘Reality With The King’ podcast.
During the interview, Brown confirms to King that he is dating a famous Black man. He said, “I am dating a celebrity. It’s not like we’re hiding it. We go out. We hold hands everywhere.” He even claimed he could see himself marrying this person.
Before Brown confirmed his relationship status as taken, TMZ shared paparazzi photos of Brown, 45, out and about in Los Angeles, California with Smollett, 44. TMZ reported that on Monday (June 29), the duo had grabbed lunch with Brown’s mother, ran errands, and then wrapped things up with a hike through Runyon Canyon.

The photos also show the two sharing some PDA as they walked close to each other and showed their affection. In one photo, Smollett even caresses Brown’s chin as they look at each other.
While telling King that he’s found the elusive “one,” Brown said:
“I’m 100 percent sure. I’ve met my equal. And it is powerful when you meet someone who you feel 100 percent safe with, you feel 100 percent secure with, who you can just trust with your heart because you know they are a great human being and they get everything. You know, it’s special. It’s pretty amazing. We’re deep in love. We are protecting the love we have because I do believe this is going to be my husband. I believe this is going to be my forever person. Everything is just easy, we just get each other. It’s constant laughter, it’s constant love, it’s just constant everything.”
According to TMZ, the photos arrive just weeks after Jussie Smollett and his former fiancé, Jabari Redd, called off their engagement after nearly three years together. Sources told the outlet their breakup was amicable and that they both highly respect one another despite their split.
