Chris Brown Speaks Out On Not Being Charged For Allegedly Smacking A Woman’s Weave Out: “Sh*t So Stupid, Ready To Cancel A N*gga”
Chris Brown will no longer face any criminal charges for allegedly striking a woman during an argument in June as the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office rejected the misdemeanor case against him.
Spokesman Rob Wilcox said, “it was rejected because of insufficient evidence.” As it was previously reported, LAPD officials claimed that a woman told police the singer had slapped her so hard, part of her hair extensions came out. Though the 32-year-old singer did not directly respond to allegations at the time, he took to his Instagram Story just hours after news articles came out and seemingly called them lies. “YALL SO DAMN cap,” he wrote along with crying-laughing emojis.
Following news that he’s now in the clear, he took to his Instagram Story to say, “I hope y’all blow this up.. sh*t so stupid…” He said over a Rolling Stone article. “Ready to cancel a n*gga but when you find out it’s cap I don’t hear nothing being said!!! LAME A**.” He has since deleted that post.
Although this seems like one less things he has to worry about, Brown, who has been accused of assault in the past, is also dealing with another legal headache as he’s being sued along with Drake in a copyright lawsuit over their 2019 track “No Guidance.” Life, man.
