Chicago rapper BloodHound Q50’s jeweler, Tony (known online as VVS King), is apologizing after he posted an “insensitive” video of him cleaning up the slain rapper’s bloodied iced-out Cuban link gold chain and iced-out Rolex; at the request of his mother.
As we previously shared, the 22-year-old Chicago rapper was gunned down in an ambush-style attack early Sunday morning (September 13). Chicago Police claimed 6 gunmen in 2 cars followed the rapper and fired more than 50 shots at him.
Preliminary reports said the rapper sustained gunshot wounds to the left shoulder, chest, and neck. Q50 was sitting in the driver’s seat of a Tesla that was parked at a BP gas station in the Fuller Park neighborhood.
The drill rapper, born Mikquale Cooper, just turned 22 on August 6 and released his latest project ‘Get Back or Die Trying’ to celebrate his birthday.
Q50’s mother, identified online as Machetta Dudley, condemned the killing and people trolling online. On Sunday, she took to her Facebook and wrote:
“Let me make this mf clear… Somebody momma gone be crying like me OBD… Y’all wanna troll? I’m gone troll. A lot of you b*tch a** n***as feared my son!!!! And now you gone have to fear his mother!!!! He not here to tell me do’t do this social media.”
Bloodhound Q50’s Jeweler Shows Off Slain Rapper’s Bloody Cuban Link Chain And Rolex
Days later, on Thursday (September 17), Q50’s jeweler, Tony (aka VVS King), shared a video of him cleaning the rapper’s bloodied jewelry. While showing off the jewelry, he said Q50’s mother wanted the items cleaned up. As he held up the bloodied cuban link chain, he said:
“It’s crazy to think that when Q50 used to come into the shop, I used to help him and clean his Cuban for him all the time. And now, I got it in here, and I’m cleaning it for his mom with blood all over it. And, it’s so sad, man. Ughh. I’ve never seen a Cuban like that. But such a sad story.”
As Tony picked up Q50’s bloodied watch, he said, “I got his watch right here. Got blood all over it, too. Ughh. Poor guy.” As Tony continued to clean the Q50’s jewelry, he showed his Cuban chain missing metal and diamonds. He speculated and said:
“There’s a piece of metal literally missing off of one of these links. And what I think happened is one of the bullets hit that link and that might be the bullet that went into his neck. There was a bunch of blood on this link. So, it just looks crazy to me. That’s kind of nuts.”
After the clips went viral, Tony ended up pulling the clips and apologizing for his “insensitive post.” He wrote:
“I want to sincerely apologize for the insensitive post I made earlier. I posted a piece that was brought into our store without fully considering the circumstances surrounding it or how the post could come across, especially given the tragic situation involved. It was a situation in which we have never encountered and we just wanted to share our experience with our followers. l understand why people were upset, and I take responsibility for posting it. There was no intention to disrespect the person who lost their life, their family, or anyone affected by what happened.But Intention doesn’t change impact and I take full responsibility. I have removed the post. I should have used better judgment before posting it, and I apologize to anyone I offended or hurt. My condolences go out to everyone affected 🕊️.”
