The career criminal identified as Brandon Lee Parton,33, became the latest viral sensation due to his mugshot, and he was dubbed the “Hot Felon” despite his history of sexual assault and other offenses. Recently, he was booked into the Wake County Jail on a charge of assault with serious bodily injury, as reported by Radar Online. After his mugshot was posted, women said in the comments that they wanted to pay for his bail and also victim-blamed as a way to support his criminal antics.

“The fine ones always in some sh*t,” one commentator wrote, while another said, “Clearly he was provoked &  he’s innocent.” However, other commentators were concerned about his extensive charges for assault and other heinous crimes.

“Idc how attractive he is..him sexually assaulting someone isn’t funny nor should be dismissed are you that horny for a white man that you would literally do that,

That charge being seriously bodily injury to someone, which you saw and still decided to still lust after him.”

In April 2017, he was arrested after being accused of kidnapping and rape. He was taken into custody by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office in Tennesee after they found a woman in critical condition in his home.

During an interview with Buzzfeed, Meeks recalled when his friend told him about the viral mugshot: “He was like, ‘Man, you went viral!'”And at this time, before my case, I think I had one MySpace account back in 2003, so I had zero idea what ‘viral’ meant. And he was just like, ‘You’re all over the world’.

After that, every day I would look out of my little door [in prison] and I’m on every single news station. It doesn’t matter what channel you flip to, I was on it.Daytime TV, I’m on everything. Within 72 hours of going viral, I literally had between 300 and 400 letters come in every single day.”

He also thanked the women who sent him nude photos and helped him get through the tough times while sitting in prison.

“There was a lot of nudes, a lot of beautiful women sent a lot of beautiful pictures. So to all the ladies that sent those pictures: thank you, you helped me through a lot of my time.”
