Nicki Minaj’s fan base continues to take things overboard.
As many are aware, Tina Knowles recently decided to add another sweet venture to her growing list of businesses, with the latest being her well-known recipe, Mama Tina’s Gumbo. While the majority of people who have tried the $25 meal and posted reviews seemed to love her signature dish, there were a very small number of people who weren’t pleased with it—which, of course, is normal in the food business.
Feeding off those negative reviews, a fan page dedicated to supporting rap star Nicki Minaj took things to a whole other level, as pointed out by Thejasminebrand. The account, which is now suspended, wrote, “where is this located??? i’ll be in htx in 2 days im coming to beat her the hell up and burn this stand to the d*mn ground.” Clearly, the social media platform wasn’t having it and immediately took action.
As of right now, the user’s page is not available to the public, and it’s unclear whether the ban is temporary or permanent.
More on Nicki Minaj’s Fan Base:
Nicki Minaj’s fan base, often referred to as the “Barbz,” has long had a reputation for being extremely loyal and highly active online.
Over the years, the group has frequently made headlines for aggressively defending the rapper on social media, sometimes clashing with critics, rival fan bases, and even journalists.
While their passionate support has helped amplify Minaj’s projects and trends online, but it has also occasionally sparked controversy when some fans take things too far in defense of their favorite artist.
Despite the latest online commotion, Tina Knowles has not yet publicly commented on the mixed reviews.
