Detectives have ruled Chris Daughtry’s stepdaughter’s death as a homicide after she was found dead in her home on Friday.

As previously reported, 25-year-old Hannah Daughtry was found by police in her Nashville home on Friday after conducting a wellness check. Her boyfriend, Bobby Jolly, has been arrested by Nashville police at the Fentress County Jail on the same day but police did not list him as a person of interest or a suspect in Hannah’s death. The investigation is still ongoing as told by District Attorney General Jared Effler.
Chris Daughtry’s wife, Deanna, said in an emotional statement that the family is currently waiting for autopsy results to find the cause of their daughter’s death. ‘We are awaiting the autopsy results to determine how Hannah sustained the injuries that caused her death. Our hearts are broken,‘ she wrote on Instagram.

Chris Daughtry postponed all tour dates after receiving news of Hannah’s death and said he recently lost his mother to cancer weeks prior.
‘I am still processing the last 24 hours. I am absolutely devastated and heartbroken. I just recently lost my mother to cancer but I was blessed with the chance to say goodbye and I was processing it privately. We never got to say goodbye to our precious Hannah and it’s another huge hit to our family. Thank you all for your kind words and condolences. They are truly felt and appreciated. I am now taking time to be present with my family as we attempt to heal from this devastating loss. Hannah, I love you. I miss you. I wish I could hold you. This hurts so deeply,’
