Shocking footage captured the moment a teen was forcefully removed from her room by a man and his relatives after she rejected his marraige proposal in Russia.

After celebrating her 18th birthday, Amik Shamoyan, the man she rejected, took Bella Ravoyan from her Tambov apartment. Shamoyan was helped in the abduction by his father Oganes, 48, and brother Alo, 24, and the group transported Ravoyan to the Nizhny Novgorod region. Authorities claimed they transported the group far from her house in an effort to coerce her to wed Shamoyan.
A few days later, after the young woman had escaped the men and sought assistance from the authorities, she was given back to her family. After she vanished as a result of the kidnapping, her father also filed a missing person’s report. Another video tape, as reported by the Daily Mail, has Ravoyan’s father displaying his gun to a relative of Shamoyan who works at a restaurant.

Shamoyan eventually turned himself in to police but his father and brother remain at large and were listed on Russia’s federal wanted list. If found and convicted, they face 12 years in federal prison. Local media reported several factors that could’ve led to the kidnapping such as the young woman being related to the failed groom amd refusing to marry him.
‘Amik was in love with this girl, and they kidnapped her. Bella’s father filed a complaint with the police, and she was returned back.Amik turned himself in to the police.’
A family friend also said Shamoyan was in love with Ravoyan and there were claims that her father wanted her to marry into a wealthier family. However, the case is still under investigation.
