Prince William Has ‘No Plans’ To See His Brother Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Following Their UK Arrival Over Fears Of What They Will Share In Upcoming Netflix Documentary

Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton have no plans on meeting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle following their arrival in the UK over the weekend. According to The Sun, there’s still a lot of friction between the royal brothers, who have been on frosty terms ever since Harry and Meghan decided to quit their royal duties and relocate to Los Angeles. Sources for the publication assert that the plentiful interviews and comments made against the Royal Family by the pair have not sat well with Harry’s relatives — particularly William.

Netflix previously confirmed that Meghan and Harry are working on an upcoming documentary about their lives, and it’s believed cameras have been following them around since moving to LA. Given how much they have shared about the royals in their past interview with Oprah Winfrey, alongside comments Meghan has made on her Spotify podcast, there’s a lot of concern about whether the pair can be trusted given how much they have shared with the public.

On top of the Netflix documentary, Prince Harry is also working on an upcoming memoir which is set to be released around Christmas, and it’s very likely there’ll be some things mentioned in the book that is going to make the royals very unhappy. William, who has allegedly denounced his brother’s decision to work with Netflix in a $100 million deal, is therefore choosing to keep his distance because he simply can’t be trusted, an insider said. “They have lost their chance of being trusted as the chance is they will record any conversation and use it against them.”

“But it is understood that Prince William, 40, feels he cannot trust his younger brother not to repeat their conversations,” the British news outlet continued. “He and wife Kate, 40, Prince Charles and the Queen are thought to have no immediate plans to see Harry and Meghan, who are visiting the UK from their California home.”

“I think it’s likely that Catherine and William will try to avoid any contact with Harry and Meghan until they know the contents of Harry’s memoirs and their Netflix documentary,” Royal biographer Angela Levin continued. “It’s their own fault for vastly exaggerating and being rude.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are believed to be staying at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, which is just 0.4 miles away from William and Kate’s four-bedroom Adelaide Cottage. The pair have only been living there since last month, and though they are in such close proximity with Harry and Meghan, there are no plans in either of them meeting up because there’s still a lot of tension over Harry and Meghan’s decision to live their lives on their own terms but still using the royal image to further their careers in Hollywood.
