Kylie Jenner says she has yet to legally change the name of her son, Wolf Webster, after previously telling fans the name “didn’t feel like it was him.”
The Kylie Cosmetics mogul, who gave birth to her second child with rapper Travis Scott in February, made the revelation in a recent interview with USA Today, as she further discussed what had ultimately led her to decide she didn’t want her son named Wolf anymore.
“We had to quickly sign the birth certificate, and then I knew the second I signed the birth certificate that I was probably gonna change his name,” Kylie expressed, indicating that she always had the intention of making the change.
When asked why she was eager to make the switch, she continued, “It just didn’t suit him. We haven’t legally changed his name yet. We’re in the process, so it just wouldn’t feel right to share anything when we don’t have an official name.”

Shortly after announcing the name of her toddler in a doting Instagram Story post, Kylie hopped back onto the social media platform, telling fans that she had a change of heart because the name she and Travis chose apparently didn’t suit their two-month-old baby.
In a follow-up message to her 327 million followers, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star declared, “FYI our [son’s] name isn’t Wolf anymore. We just didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”
It’s unclear whether Kylie and Travis have already chosen a new name for little Wolf, but there appeared to be a dead giveaway that the two are still in limbo after the self-made billionaire attended Khloe Kardashian’s daughter True’s fourth birthday party over the weekend.
The celebratory event was shared on the family’s Instagram Story, with eagle-eyed fans noticing that Wolf’s gift basket was simply labeled “Baby Webster” while Kylie’s daughter Stormi had her name attached to hers. This had many people assuming that the 24-year-old was still indecisive about her son’s new name.

In a previous interview with Extra, Kylie stressed that while she may already have a name in mind, she didn’t want to share anything on social media just yet in case she does end up making another last-minute change.
“We just haven’t fully legally changed it or anything,” she gushed. “So I don’t want to announce a new name and then change it again. So, yeah, we’re just not ready to share.”
