Tyler Perry is saying goodbye to his Beverly Hills estate. The filmmaker has officially listed the property for $57 million, weeks after announcing plans to relocate to Puerto Rico with his 11-year-old son, Aman.
The 24,592-square-foot mansion features nine bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, and sits on 22.5 gated acres. The property famously served as a temporary home for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in 2020 as they transitioned out of their senior royal roles.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Perry purchased the estate for $4.3 million in 2004 and completed construction in 2012. The listing is held by Santiago Arana and Griffin Riddle of The Agency.
The Mediterranean-style home includes a 24-seat theater, bar, entertainment lounge, game room, music hall, wine storage room, gym, and steam shower. The primary suite features a fireplace, private deck, sitting room, walk-in closets, spa-like bathroom, and “dedicated massage and salon rooms.”
Perry recently revealed his plans to move during an interview on Today with Jenna & Sheinelle.
“Yep, moving to Puerto Rico at the top of the year, and I’m pulling back a whole lot,” he said.
Explaining his decision, Perry added, “Getting older [inspired this]. It’s time to slow down a bit, enjoy more time with my son and just take it all in.”
