On Thursday (June 15), TMZ reported that Kylie Jenner and her cosmetics company, Kylie Cosmetics, LLC., were being sued by a model over money owed. However, Kylie’s team has since responded to the lawsuit filed, claiming they issued payment, so the model’s team is to blame.

According to the lawsuit obtained by the news site, a woman named Sasha Palma claimed that she was hired for a couple of photo shoots for Kylie’s company, Kylie Cosmetics. Within the documents, Palma said she was first hired by the company to participate in a one-day shoot back in June 2020.
She said she was promised a daily rate of $2,000, and that she was supposed to get paid by early July; however, she claimed that Kylie and her company never made the deadline, alleging they missed it by more than 30 days.

In her lawsuit, Palma also said that Kylie Cosmetics was more than able to make the payment on time, but feels they just simply chose not to abide by the contract terms. So, now she is suing for money owed, plus penalties. For this incident, she is suing the company for $60,000.
Also in Palma’s filing, she claimed that there was another one-day photo shoot that she was hired for back in August 2020. In that incident, Palma said she never got her $2,000 check on time then either. She added that the company issued the payment more than 30 days after the deadline she was told. So, she is also demanding payment for another $60,000 for this shoot too. So, in total, Palma filed her complaint against Kylie and her company for $120,000.

Following the initial report, a representative for Kylie’s company told TMZ that they paid the model prior to the NET 45 invoice deadline, for both of the shoots that Palma is claiming she experienced issues with payment processing.
The rep for Kylie also claimed that they have documentation proving that they paid the model. Being so, the publication claimed that a source told them that Kylie and her team believe it is quite possible that the model’s team, whether management or her agent, could have withheld the payment from her.

Additionally, the publication’s source reportedly told them that Palma and her team tried to get more work with Kylie’s company after the 2020 photo shoots, which she’s been claiming she’s had issues with receiving payment for.
The source also allegedly claimed that Palma and her team have also reached out to the cosmetics company for a letter of recommendation, to which Kylie and her team did not oblige.
