Police officers in Winter Park, Florida were called on Martasia Griffin, the mother of a 3-year-old boy, after a youth director allegedly kicked her superstar soccer-playing son, Nevada Neymar Pierre, out of the league for being “too good.”

In the 911 audio, Jul Henry — the organizer from the i9 Sports program, who puts on the league — told police Griffin was being “disruptive” during a soccer game.
Witnesses said Nevada was pulled from the game because he was outplaying the other kids on the field. He was scoring goal after goal, running, and maneuvering better than kids his age and older. No one could stop him. Despite his excellent athleticism, Henry pulled Nevada from the game and it caused his parents to become upset.

According to Henry, Griffin allegedly became “disruptive,” began following him around, and everything. Henry ultimately kicked Nevada out of the league as he asked his parents to leave the property. He even offered to refund them all the soccer team fees.
Upon police arrival, bodycamera footage, obtained by TMZ, continued to capture all of the drama. In the clips, Henry accused Nevada of pushing other kids while playing and said his parents made a scene when he tried to get the child to stop. He even attempted to ask the cops to tell Nevada’s parents he is not allowed to play on the team anymore.
Police then went to question Nevada’s parents. His mom and dad said they paid $300 to have Nevada play soccer. They were ultimately confused as to why he was kicked off the team and why they were all asked to leave. Nevada’s mom insisted that he never hit any other kids and that she never cursed anyone out. The story has since gone viral.

In a statement, the league said:
“We are aware of concerns being shared regarding an incident at a local i9 Sports program, and we take them very seriously. The respectful treatment and well-being of every child and family matter deeply to us. We have reached out to the family and have begun a review that includes speaking with those involved.”
Winter Park Police Department also issued a statement that read:
“The Winter Park Police Department has received numerous inquiries into a call that was received over the weekend and would like to provide the following information to the community. On October 24, Winter Park Police received a call for assistance. The caller was a youth sport’s director at a local child’s soccer game. The caller alleged that the parents of a young player were being disruptive and that as the league director, he wanted the parents to leave the park. Upon arrival, officers encountered the parents, who were already in the process of leaving the park on their own accord. This call did NOT prompt officers to trespass any individuals and was considered a civil matter between the league and parents. Despite some social media rumors, there was never any suggestion that the call to police was prompted over the child’s on field talent. Officers did help facilitate communication between the league and parents over refunding registration costs to the family. The department has posted a link to the officers’ body worn cameras, along with call to police.”
