In a not-so shocking new report, Trump is once again being accused of sexual assault. The report released this Monday by House Judiciary Committee Democrats on President Donald Trump’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein includes new details from a woman who says Trump raped her in 1993. She’s Beatrice Keul, a model and former Miss Switzerland. But the White House is already claiming is just political theater, and nothing in that report has been tested in court…

Keul told committee staff how it started. She was 24 and attending the American Dream Pageant, which had a partnership with Trump, when she met him at a press luncheon. She says he promised to arrange her U.S. visa and get her into New York University through his friend Paolo Zampolli. She also says she spoke with Epstein at the event for at least ten minutes, and that he bragged about throwing parties with Trump.

Then, she says, the day took a very dark turn. Keul alleges Trump invited her to a suite at the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan, where the report says he forcibly raped her, leaving bleeding and bruising on multiple parts of her body. After the alleged assault, the report says, Trump sat her on the edge of the bed, repeated his visa and NYU promises, and told her “the show must go on.”

She says she was boxed in, too. Her passport had been taken when she arrived, so she couldn’t leave the contest. Back in Switzerland, she skipped another Trump-sponsored pageant in Hawaii a few weeks later.

The White House has since denied the allegations and, through spokeswoman Lauren Bis, dismissed the report as a ploy by “crazed Democrats” to distract Americans, adding that Trump has been fully exonerated of anything related to Epstein. Trump has also spent years denying every sexual misconduct accusation against him, calling them politically motivated.
