Kim Kardashian is ready to start dating again, just weeks after ending her relationship with former “Saturday Night Live!” star Pete Davidson, it has been reported. While fans were led to believe that Kardashian’s romance with Davidson was the real deal and that they were bound to last — especially after the actor had gotten his now-ex tattooed on his body — nobody would’ve expected the relationship to come crashing down as quickly as it did.
Whatever the case may be, things didn’t work out between the two and the Skims founder apparently isn’t dwelling on the split in the slightest, with sources telling E! News that the 41-year-old is keen on getting back in the dating pool in hopes of finding her soulmate. But unlike her past boyfriends, the mother of four is said to be ruling out the idea of dating somebody younger than her — she’s convinced that getting with someone older would ultimately fit better with where she’s at in life.

“Kim’s expressed she’s ready to date someone older but it has to be the right person who understands her life,” an insider told the news outlet. “She isn’t compromising her freedom right now.” As previously reported, Kardashian reportedly called it quits with Davidson because the relationship was moving too fast for her, with one source alleging that her ex-boyfriend wanted to marry her — a move she wasn’t ready for given that she had only split from husband Kanye West back in February 2021.
After things ended with Kardashian, Davidson checked himself into a trauma therapy facility in large part to the criticism and social media attacks he was said to have received not just from fans but apparently also from West.
“The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics is a trigger for [Pete], and he’s had to seek out help,” a source told People. “[Pete] has no regrets for dating Kim and wants it to be made very clear that she’s been nothing but supportive of him throughout their relationship. Moving forward he just wants to focus on his career.”

Even after their split, however, Kardashian was being very supportive of Davidson’s decision to seek professional help to cope with the backlash he had received on social media ever since jumping into a relationship with the reality star.
While Kardashian is ready to start dating again, insiders say she wants to find someone that can relate to her day-to-day lifestyle, which doesn’t just consist of running multiple businesses but also juggling being a parent of four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. Her kids will always be her main priority and taking that into consideration, it doesn’t seem as if Kardashian wants to date somebody younger because she fears their expectations won’t align with the romance.
