Kanye West and Irina Shayk have officially ended their relationship as a close source claims it was “never that serious.”

The couple reportedly ended their relationship on friendly terms as Kanye West reportedly wants to remain focused on his work and his children. “Kanye has been busy working and spending time with his kids. This is his focus. He doesn’t have time to date right now. He finds Irina amazing though. They remain friendly,” a close source told PEOPLE.
Last month, a rep for Shayk said that the pair were not splitting up after there were multiple rumors about their breakup.

West and Shayk were first seen in France as they were celebrating the rapper’s 44th birthday and kept their relationship long-distance since the model lives in New York City. The outlet also reported that Kim Kardashian was fully aware of the relationship and her main concern was in regards to their children.
“It doesn’t bother Kim that Kanye is dating. Her only concern is their kids. She wants Kanye to be present and spend as much time with them as possible. The kids love when Kanye is around. Kim doesn’t want a new girlfriend to distract Kanye from spending time with the kids.”
