Okay! Drake sent Fat Joe some custom socks after hearing his comments about how he’s a little “jealous” of the rapper for always receiving gifts from celebrities.
While opening up a box that was labeled to be from Stake which is a company Drake partners with, Fat Joe can be heard saying in the clip, “You can’t make this s— up,” Joe said in the Instagram video, “Congratulations Fat Joe, it’s your birthday. You got a present from Stake.’ Stake, a.k.a. my brother Drake’s company.” After opening the box he saw what was written on the fresh two new pairs of socks. “Stake: Fat Joe’s Socks.”
“Fat Joe socks. Yo, this is the most disrespectful s— I’ve ever seen in my life. Yo Stake, yo Drake! I said I don’t have a sock or croissant. Goddamn, be careful what you wish for. Thank you. It’s the thought that counts,” he said. He also thanked Drake for the gag gift in the caption of his post. “Thank you @champagnepapi and @stake for my precious 1 of 1 socks 😂😂😂😂,” he wrote.
As we previously reported, Fat Joe went viral after commenting on how Drake is always receiving expensive gifts from other celebrities.
“Let me tell you why I might be jealous of Drake,” Fat Joe said on his Instagram Live. “I’ve never seen a guy people love more. OK? Because it’s rumors his airplane — which looks like the flyest plane in the world — was actually given to him by a friend. Someone who wants to be down with the man who has a 15-year run of unstoppable hits.”
“Then there’s a guy who owns all the crypto s—t. He buys the Tupac ring, $4 million, and gives it to Drake,” he continued. “Who the f— is giving people this type of s—? Yes! I’m not making this shit up! Bro, they won’t give me a f—ing pack of socks! They won’t give me a croissant. F—, this some bulls—.”
Fat Joe is always going viral for his comments on celebrities, but In more recent news he shared a story about his 200-pound weight loss, while also opening up about his battle with depression, and how he “pushed forward” to become healthy following Big Pun‘s death. He explained, “Imagine me and Big Pun all over TV. We’re together. We’re best friends. Making hit records together. He dies, and everybody in the world keeps coming up to me: ‘Sorry for your loss.’ They’re not knowing that they’re triggering the depression every single time. There was no way to go in the world. And so when I see pictures of my sister, I try to breeze through them. I lost a lot of people, and unfortunately I can’t sit there and dwell, because I know that’s something that takes me down that path. So I gotta push forward.”
