Yahu Blackwell is not just an athlete, but he’s a business owner who wants more black people to learn about investing.
Yahu Blackwell is a world-class boxer who holds a current record of 15-0 in the international boxing league, but, that’s only one of his many talents. He is currently working on opening up Baltimore’s newest Rita’s Italian Ice location in the Rotunda courtyard in Hampden.
Yahu shared with Hollywood Unlocked that Ritas was one of his mother’s favorites, so it only made sense that he invested in one for himself.
Being a self-taught businessman, Yahu wants to use this new location as a way to give back to the black community and to make a change.

Yahu is actually in the process of preparing for a fight, so while speaking with us, he shared some of his pre-fight rituals as well as how he’s able to manage his athletic career and business at the same time.
