HU Exclusive: Jazmine Sullivan Defends Lizzo After Rude Fan Tells Her To “Get That Adele & Jazmine Sullivan Surgery”: “She IS Beautiful”
Lizzo looked absolutely stunning on Monday as she popped out in a long sparkled, purple see-through dress for Cardi B’s big 29th birthday celebration in Los Angeles.
Her eye-catching look was a clear serve that most people loved but of course some folks didn’t like the revealing fit. One rude fan wrote under the Hollywood Unlocked comment section, “Something wrong with her. Girl get that Adele and Jazmine Sullivan surgery and move on. Because that’s what your going to do in the end.”
Jazmine Sullivan caught wind of the troll’s comment and responded. The “Pick Up Your Feelings” singer replied, “She looks beautiful. She IS beautiful. Also you’re,” Jazmine said while correcting the fan.
Although Lizzo has not responded to this just yet, she previously spoke out about how negative comments have affected her confidence and mental health. As we previously reported, back in August, the musician took to Instagram live to open up about hurtful responses she received after releasing her single “Rumors.”
“On the days when I should feel the happiest, it just — I feel so down,” she said, as she wiped her tears with tissues and recalled working “triple” and “quadruple” time, 12-hour days with press, rehearsals, filming, writing music and time in the studio. She even worked after a root canal, she said. “Sometimes I feel like the world just don’t love me back. It’s like it doesn’t matter how much positive energy you put into the world, you’re still gonna have people who have something mean to say about you,” she said at the time.
However, Lizzo had many people come to her defense including song collaborator Cardi B. While Lizzo is trying her best to stay positive in this tough industry, it looks she has lot of support!
