Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ affair is still on everybody’s minds over at ABC, with a new report claiming that the pair’s colleagues are upset they’ve been associated with the drama that ensued following their scandal. Both Amy and T.J. have since been taking off the air from “GMA3” in hopes that the controversy eventually begins to die down — but ABC News staffers are still feeling unsettled by the misconduct of their co-workers.
Amy’s “20/20” co-host, David Muir, in particular, is said to have been left bothered with how she and T.J. handled the drama that came with their romance coming to light. While it not only shed a negative light on them, the scandal was also a bad look for the network — and given that David tends to keep his personal life out of the limelight, he’s reportedly not been happy that he, too, has been dragged into the mix of things.

“He’s not having it. He’s the face of the evening news and nothing about him ever makes it into the papers. He’s very private and no one at ABC likes the way Amy and T.J. handled it,” an insider explained to Page Six. “Every anchor is upset that Amy and T.J. have caused such drama. No one wants to be associated with this, and Amy and David already aren’t that close right now.”
Following the news of T.J. and Amy’s romance, the co-hosts carried on with their hosting duties on “GMA3,” and even joked that they were having a “great week” amid the controversy surrounding their relationship. Supposedly, ABC had requested that they make no mention of their romance on air, but they ignored producers’ advice with the remark, which was followed by the news they’d be taken off the air for the time being.

“If the decision is to not address it, then don’t address it! T.J. made light of it on-air. Amy’s smarter than that, but how else is she supposed to respond?” a source continued, implying that the two had only added more fuel to the fire by lightheartedly making a comment about what a great week they’d been having.
It goes without saying, the entire ordeal has left a bad taste in their colleagues’ mouths, and it still remains unclear when Amy and T.J. will return to “GMA3.”
