Whew! CBS This Morning co-anchor Gayle King is sharing her feelings about T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach’s secret love affair, and let’s just say she’s not holding back.
While appearing on Watch What Happens Live” Thursday, King said she initially stood by them until things started to get“sloppy.”: “In the beginning, I actually thought, good on ‘Good Morning America.’ They’re saying they’re not taking them off the air. It’s two consenting adults,” King began. “But then the more you read, it’s just very messy,” she said, referencing the fact that Robach and Holmes were still married to their respective spouses for years when their affair began.
The 67-year-old continued, “I think, to me, it’s just a sad situation because you’ve got kids involved, you’ve got families involved, and I keep thinking about that. I’m very concerned about that,” King explained.

After the bombshell scandal was brought to the public, ABC News president Kim Godwin announced earlier tennis week during an internal call that the pair would not host their daily 1 p.m. show. It was also labeled an “internal and external distraction.”
“I want to say that while the relationship is not a violation of company policy, I really have taken the last few days to think about and work through what I think is best for the ABC News organization,” Godwin said on the call. “These decisions are not easy, they are not knee jerk, but they are necessary for the brand and for our priority which, you guys know, are all of is — the people here at ABC.”
Robach nor Holmes have publicly spoken out on these allegations to clarify or deny them. However, a source told Page Six that Robach was in the process of filing for divorce from her husband of Andrew Shue.
Aside from that, TMZ reports that the reporters are doing just “fine” even despite all the online chaos about their love scandal.
