Alexis Skyy has been on a new spiritual journey these past couple of months and she has been sharing her incredible experience with her supporters.
While speaking with The Mind Blowing Magazine,(@thembmag), the model and entrepreneur opened up about her latest surgical procedure and how it became a pivotal moment that “forever altered the course of her life.”
In the recently published interview that has been shared on the magazine’s YouTube channel, Skyy explained that she got another cosmetic procedure months ago and experienced complications. “I just did my body because I was drinking a lot of liquor. I was in Columbia and when I was there, I felt like I was going crazy.” She went on to say that she stayed at a recovery home longer than expected because her “blood levels kept going up and down.” She added, “I knew that was God telling me not to get the surgery but I was just being hard-headed but it was so many complications going on.” Skyy, 28, continued, “At the very moment, I was feeling sick and he [God] was just there. Like he came to me.”
“I think at that moment… you know, when you’re going under anesthesia you don’t know if you’re going to wake up. I just kept praying and crying like, ‘God please just wake me up.’ After the surgery they were like you can’t go home. Every day I was there a day longer.” The former Love & Hip-Hop star went on to say, “I had to get antibiotic shots, I’m like ‘why did I do this?”
Sky further explained that from there it was just her and God guiding her through her intense recovery.
“I know at that point, it was just me and God. So he was like talking to me like you’re about to redirect your whole life. He was downloading everything he wanted me to get rid of.” Skyy said while following God’s path, she even had to cut off friends who she truly knew were good for her. Although it hurt to get rid of some people, she knew she “had to” as they were leading her into “destruction.”
Following her scary experience and encounter with God, Skyy told the host that she came back from Columbia “like a whole new person.”

Skyy is a reality television personality who appeared on .Vh1’s Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood, Love & Hip Hop: New York and Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. Although she had tons of supporters way before the show, Skyy received even more media attention for her relationship with rapper Fetty Wap.
Skyy found herself in sticky situation after claiming the rapper was the father of her child and later admitted he actually wasn’t. Aside from that Skyy previously shared that she had a tough life. In past interviews she shared that she was forced into human trafficking at the age of 15.
Back in March Skyy first announced that she officially given her life to God not only to better herself but also to continue to be a great mom for her precious daughter, Alaiya Grace.
