Alexis Skyy Talks Sex Trafficking, Feuds With King Ikey, Blac Chyna, Ari Fletcher & Leaving ‘Love & Hip Hop’ On #QuarantineChronicles

It’s time for another round of #QuarantineChronicles! The latest episode welcomes ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta‘ star Alexis Skyy.

On this episode, HU’s Jason Lee and Alexis talk ‘Love & Hip Hop;’ the infamous cucumber pool party incident; her experience with human trafficking; plus, the laundry list of beefs with Blac Chyna, Ari Fletcher, Masika Kalysha, King Ikey; and how she’s flipped all of her mistakes into lessons learned. Throughout the episode, it’s clearer more than ever that she’s grown, especially as she now elevates her brand, readying her new salon and memoir, ‘Pieces of Her.’

Opening the episode, Alexis’ daughter Alaiya Grace makes a cameo, and immediately Jason praises Alexis for her strength in birthing and raising a child with disabilities, and he applauds her for being so open throughout her pregnancy, riddled with health complications. Alexis then confirms that she and Alaiya’s father, rapper Fetty Wap, are in a good place, noting he’s an active father and that they’re “really good friends.”

Switching over to Alexis’ role throughout the three ‘Love & Hip Hop‘ franchises, Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta, the model and personality reveals that on her first season in LA, it was the hardest, but she had the most fun there. In New York, she says that’s where she grew the most as a woman. And as for Atlanta, that’s her favorite of the three. On whether she’d consider going back to the franchise itself, she confirms she would not. She’s glad she got to tell her story of sex trafficking and use her platform to bring awareness, but in wanting to elevate her brand, she wants to leave reality tv for the big screen.

While speaking on her time in New York, she recalls her brief time with Treyway record label, which housed rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine. She shares how when the house came crashing down with indictments issued to everyone, including her manager Shotti, she said she was ready to bounce, and fortunately, she hadn’t signed any paperwork.

During the conversation, the infamous cucumber pool party incident pops up and Alexis simply says that she’s done some crazy things, and that was one of them. She’s felt embarrassed about it and says she apologized to all the young girls/women looking up to her and who’ve seen her antics.

Now, onto her beefs…

That with Blac Chyna, she simply says she has no problems with Chyna, and the house party altercation came from left field. But, she says the two don’t speak and there’s no beef on her end. When it comes to Rob, her hanging out with him was a petty move, but notes that the two have been friends for a while, even before he and Chyna were a couple. She affirms the two never had any relations and that they’re just really good friends.

Speaking on her beef with Masika, Alexis says, “she needs to get over herself.” Noting that she’s a beautiful girl at the end of the day, Alexis says she wishes her the best and that she has no issues with her, even though Masika hates her to this day.

Regarding her beef with Ari Fletcher, Alexis says, again, she never had a problem with her. She notes that they never really hung out and that their sole connection was through their hairstylist Tae, aka Arrogant Tae. She believes Ari’s fans conjured up a beef, and she wishes it didn’t happen, because there’s no real reason to it. However, she harbors no hard feelings and wishes everyone involved the best.

Onto her latest feud with former best friend/assistant Ikey. Alexis says the two were close for 5 years and that he was like her diary. Because she doesn’t get along with many female friends, Ikey was the one person who knew everything about her and vice versa. So, when he began to air her business out on the internet, she says it hurt her to the core. She confirms that she doesn’t hate him, she forgives him, is praying for him, and wants him to succeed, but also wants him to remember who he hurt.

Transitioning from her past feuds and mistakes, it’s evident that Alexis has grown from it all. She reiterates how she’s used her platform on ‘Love & Hip Hop‘ to speak out against human trafficking, noting that she plans to create a home for young girls/women, called Skyy House. She wants them to know that there’s nothing in the streets to runaway from home to.

Currently, however, while in quarantine she’s started a 30-day detox and encouraged her fans to take part in it with her, leading up to the release of her upcoming memoir ‘Pieces of Her.’ In addition, she’s opening her new salon in Deerpark, New York, called Luxe House and plans to franchise it across the states.

Moving forward, she wants to continue elevating her brand, cease reality tv and head into acting. As for her dating life, she says she is dating, and although she doesn’t name anyone, she confirms she likes the bad boys. However, by 30, she wants to eventually get married and have a son.
