It’s official! After teasing us for months — ever since Cassie filed her $30 million civil suit in November 2023 alleging abuse, rape, and sex trafficking against Diddy50 Cent’s docuseries ‘Diddy Do It?is headed to Netflix after winning a bidding war.

On Tuesday (May 21), TMZ reported that multiple sources familiar with the project told them that 50 Cent’s multi-part documentary about the sexual assault allegations against Diddy has been purchased by streaming giant Netflix.

Sources told the news site that Netflix won the bidding war to distribute the docuseries after a massive battle between them and several other TV networks and streaming platforms. The project, which is produced by 50 Cent’s G-Unit Film and Television Studios, is scheduled to air on Netflix in the near future.

Reacting to the news, exclusively reported by TMZ, 50 Cent shared a screenshot of the article and stated, “TMZ use this fat boy picture of me because their doc went to Tubi LOL 😏 It’s ok guys we’re all making great television mine just happens to be the best! NETFLIX wins the bidding war but if more victims keep coming out 🤷🏽‍♂️ I’m gonna need more episodes 😳.”

After 50’s post calling out TMZ’s featured image of him, the editor over at the news site updated the photos. 50 shared a screenshot of the updated article and said, “Ok TMZ put up a 2024 picture, baby, let’s work! LOL.”

The news of 50 Cent’s Diddy docuseries heading to Netflix arrives shortly after a heartbreaking video was released showing the rap mogul, born Sean Combs, assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel in 2016.

Days after the release, Diddy shared an apology video on his Instagram, taking “full accountability” for his actions witnessed in the viral video. Days after that, the mogul was hit with another civil lawsuit. On Tuesday, just before 50 Cent’s documentary news broke, model Crystal McKinney accusing Diddy of sexually assaulting her in 2003.
