Virginia Woman Fired After Claiming Black Neighbor Is ‘Not The Right Color’

Hilary Langlois, a Virginia woman, has been fired from her job after going on a racist rant against her Black neighbor, identified as Laquetta Good, claiming she was “not the right color.”

Good claims for months she and her children were faced with racial harassment from Langlois. She told The DailyMail, “I feel like a prisoner in my home. She has called me many names before but to hear her being racist, that really shocked me.” The mother of two has captured several confrontations on video, and one clip, taken in front of Good’s house, features Langlois yelling, “You are not the right color, honey,” and later calls Good and her children, “trash.” In another clip, Good Asks Langlois, “I’m a n***er?,” and she replies, “Yes, you are!”

Per Good, the harassment all began after their children could not get along. In addition to the verbal abuse, Good says Langlois has also called police to search her house, claiming Good couldn’t afford her house and Porsche, so she must be a drug dealer. Subsequent to all the viral documented harassment, Langlois has since lost her job  at the Chesterfield Food Bank. Good has since thanked the organization for their swift action and others in the community for their support.

The CFB released a statement that read, “We want to thank everyone for reaching out to us in regards to the video and story that was posted this morning regarding a confrontation between an individual and one of our employees in their neighborhood. We, here at the CFB, are broken-hearted to view this conduct as it goes directly against our values and beliefs. We are honored to serve everyone in need with dignity & integrity. In response to this situation, we have terminated this employee. We remain committed to creating and providing a positive, uplifting and encouraging environment for our staff, volunteers and clients.”
