Tucker Carlson Says Trans People Are The ‘Natural Enemy’ Of Christianity As He Reacts To Nashville School Shooting

Tucker Carlson’s comments about the trans community on Tuesday sparked quite a reaction on social media as the Fox News host boldly claimed people who are trans are the “natural enemy” of Christianity. The 53-year-old’s controversial opinion came just a day after the tragic shooting at the Nashville Covenant School where three children and three staffers were gunned down by Audrey Hale, a trans graphic artist who had transitioned from female to male. As we now know, Hale, who used he/him pronouns, had previously attended the Christian elementary school, though the motive for the senseless attack still remains unclear.

Nashville police have not yet ruled out whether his sexuality and gender could have played a role in the events that followed when he arrived at the school on Monday morning. But there are several theories suggesting that her transitioning could have played a pivotal role, though this has yet to be confirmed. Carlson, deeply disturbed by the killing of six innocent people at the school, passionately addressed his issue, saying that transgender people are Christianity’s enemy because they “claim domination over nature.”

“In Christianity, the price of admission is admitting that you’re not God,” he said during a taping of his show last night, “Tucker Carlson Tonight.” “The trans movement takes the opposite view. Trans ideology claims dominion over nature itself.” He continued, “People who believe they’re God can’t stand to be reminded that they are not. So, Christianity and transgender orthodoxy are wholly incompatible theologies. They can never be reconciled.” Carlson went on to add that Christianity and being trans are two things that are bound to collide, boldly adding that one side is more likely to draw blood than the other.

His views about the sensitive discussion of three adults and three students being killed inside a school were brought up following speculation by some media outlets who claimed that the Nashville school shooting was the result of infringing on trans people’s rights.

Carlson explained how some outlets were running with the narrative that Hale’s actions were caused by Tennessee recently passing a new law that will prohibit gender-affirming medical care for trans people under 18, effective July 1.

It is important to remember that being transgender does not make someone more likely to commit acts of violence. In fact, transgender individuals are often the victims of violence themselves.

While we wait for more information about the Nashville Covenant School Shooting to be released, it is important to take a step back and analyze the larger issues at play. Gun violence and transphobia are both major issues in America, and this tragedy highlights the ways in which they intersect.

If you or someone you know has been affected by gun violence or transphobia, there are resources available to help. The National Domestic Violence Hotline, the Trevor Project, and the Trans Lifeline are all organizations that provide support to those in need.

It is important to remember that you are not alone and that there is help available. We must continue to work towards a more compassionate and just society where these tragedies do not occur.
