Adiel’s father, Jesus Rosario,32, said in a statement that the city needs to be more proactive due to fireworks going off in the city every night. Rosario was sleeping when the incident occurred and thought there was a shooting when he heard his son crying, “He was crying and saying, ‘Firework came in and boom,'”
“This is just getting worse and I guess thanks to the mayor, he hasn’t taken actions at all against these fireworks and the cops aren’t doing anything at all,”
