‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ has made history as it becomes the top-grossing domestic movie for SONY.

The film has reached $1 billion globally after adding $587.1 million to its domestic gross from 61 overseas markets within 12 days as reported by the Daily Mail. Additionally, there were some concerns about ‘Spider-Man: NWH’ being bumped from the No.1 spot due to the releases of the fourth Matrix film and ‘Sing 2.’

It is also the first movie of the pandemic to surpass the $1 billion mark and also shares the milestone with Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
